Previously had work done on a vehicle here. Ended up having some issues and took it to a different shop where we have discovered a lot of cruddy work and short cuts. Ended up costing me 2 grand to have everything cleaned up and fixed.

Hangar 18 Automotive did an amazing job on my son’s car! After running out of coolant and causing some serious engine damage, we were worried it wouldn’t make it. But the team worked on it all day, diagnosing the issue, fixing the leak, flushing the cooling system, and bringing it back to life. They went above and beyond, and the car is running great now—all for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them for their dedication, expertise, and excellent customer service!

Ball joints replaced? Both? Nope just 1... now can't do more than 35 mph... mis firing and after a coolant flush it dumped all of it in my driveway just up the road. and no English spoken. Horrible place after 3 visits in one day told me I needed new spark plugs for $525. Get lost you shady people! I will be getting my money back. 1 yr warranty on parts and labor? You didn't do any work and created more problems. Terrible place don't do business with them. The owner and employees are double charging lazy scam artists.

I was only supposed to get a diagnosis free of charge but they took the liberty of reprogramming my electric power steering without my consent and charged me 470 for it to still have problems 5 mins later

Worst experience I've had with any mechanic shop. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Went in to pick up my truck with a shock and strut replacement. Getting ready to leave and 4 different warning lights show up on dash. I ask what those are about and she said " you have a bypass module that will delete everything" but we charge extra to install it and we don't know how long it will take it could take hr or 3 hrs "So for $165 an hour I took my truck home and did it my self in 20 minutes. All warning lights stayed on but the only one went off was the CHECK SUSPENTION which I knew it would. While trying to trouble shoot the problem I found a plastic strap that was still on the rear shock. They never botherd to take it off when removed the shock form the box. I went back in to show them all lights are still on. She spoke with her mechanic and in front of me he said "is he going to pay"?? but in Spanish. I asked if they will still be able to look at my vehicle to make sure nothing was overlooked. She said "yes bring it in on Friday she said. I brought it in today(Friday). I get no call no nothing. I walk to their shop after work I asked how it went and she said they haven't had a chance to look at it and they are open on Saturday if I wanted to bring it back again(let me remind you all I had a appointment the previous Saturday and they called me and canceled the day before) so I asked if she was playing she said " no I'm not playing". I just asked for my keys and left. While leaving one of my rear shocks is making a noise now. 😆. These BACKYARD MECHANICS took the name of a good shop and are running it through the dirt. I just can't believe my experience with this one shop. Not worth the headache! UPDATE:(Saturday) I got the codes looked at and did some research and I followed both rear speed sensors on my own. Come to find out both sensors were unplugged, Plugged them back in and BAM no more warning dash lights on. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The first starting price was $750 for everything new They ended up charging me $1000 for used pieces. It took 5 days to finish the work. And I had to help the mechanic to finish the job. The owners of the place are disgusting people. I feel deceived and defrauded. I would highly recommend using a different place to buy or repair your vehicle. I bought a $6,000 used car with what they told me had a brand new engine, less than a month into having it I realized the water pump was broken and they told me that specific part wasnt on warranty so I payed another $800 to get it fixed and shorty after getting back my engine caught fire because of bad wiring , I took it back to them again and they claimed to fix that for free because of Warranty, but again within a couple days of getting it back my whole motor block was loose and shaking very bad, I decided to take it to a different shop this time and they told me about a number of different issues in the engine and tire ball bearings, costing another $2,200 to fix , I understand buying a used car as is but I was told to my face the engine was brand new and I was not informed of any problems at all when buying or the two times they had my car after buying. They said to have worked on my Car 3 times but it has never been in full working conditions since I bought it even after bringing it to them twice and paying an additional $800 , A very unprofessional and Dishonest transaction is all I can say about my experience with Hangar auto

DO NOT USE this place !!! Kathy the new owner and it’s workers don’t know anything!!!!!! Nothing about automotive repairs . Stay away !!! The only thing they know how to do there is rob people of their money stay away!!!!!! Dirty and expensive

I had to have my water pump replaced after it went out and I called them for a quote because I've had great work done there in the past under the old owners. They quoted me at $800 and even offered to tow it for free so I agreed. Two days later they called and told me my truck was done and I could pick it up. When I went to pick it up I was then told my work was NOT done and it would cost me $3000. So I told them no. They then charged me $300 for the tow and I took the vehicle to another mechanic where I was then informed that my water pump and other parts associated with it were missing. When I called to ask about my missing parts I was hung up on. This place used to be awesome under the old ownership but now is being run by crooks and liars, beware of using them.

Pay attention to the age of the good reviews. This place is under new ownership. Head mechanic and old manager quit. Stay away from these people. The new owner/manager Cathy is the worst person to deal with. She is rude and will not let you actually talk to a mechanic. All the good reviews are from when the place was actually good. Do NOT go here.

WOMEN! You are not safe here anymore sadly there are new owners :( they tried to get me for a $140 diagnostic fee that they never told me I would have to pay. The previous owners never did and I wouldn't have even known they were new owners if I didn't ask outright. Thankfully it was my husband who went to pick up our car afterwards to get a different opinion bc he didn't trust the estimate and he was the one who found out about the $140 fee so they didn't get a chance to try to bully me into paying for it.

Advertencia, estas personas no son honestas, llevé mi carro para cambio de aceite y filtro más chequearan el a/c, cobraron casi $600. El a/c no lo arreglaron porque según tenían que hacer un diagnóstico, no era la recarga de gas, aun así cobraron el servicio y no quieren reembolsar el dinero, es lo primero que tienen que hacer el "diagnostico" y querían cobrarme extra $70, aflojaron tornillo, dañaron una válvula de la llanta. Antes de irme la muchachita me entregó una tarjeta de servicio de grúa "en caso que se quede por ahi tirá", dijo. Saliendo del lugar minutos mas tarde TARAAAAH la llanta vacía. Obviamente no los llamé. Reclamé dijeron que NO me van a reembolsar ninguna parte del dinero. Tremendo robo, me estafaron casi $600, si alguien me puede ayudar le agradezco.

DO NOT do business with this woman. Previous owners may have been good to deal with, not anymore. You are warned. Unethical and took advantage of some elderly people on a very shady transaction. Stay away from them. Using faith and religion to profess you're some kind of honest entity or person? Pathetic.

I can't say enough good things about Hangar 18. They worked on an aftermarket install for us after the dealer and other repair shops refused. They were able to troubleshoot the problem and get everything working at a very reasonable cost. They even delivered the car to us when the work was complete.

We were purchasing a pre-owned car and driving it home to New England. Took it to hangar 18 prior to purchase to make sure it was sound. They got us in right away and were spot on with their assessment. My 80 yo mother in law goes here for her car and feels very comfortable doing so. She does not feel taken advantage of being a single older female. Thanks for the fast friendly and accurate service!
