It took me almost a week to bring in the vehicle to get diagnosed, which they had told me 8 decent price. I hire a tow truck. I bring the vehicle to the shop and they tell me that I have to pay almost double just to diagnose my vehicle, really bad experience. It lost a lot of times Without a vehicle

They always do a great job with regular maintenance of my BMW. Easy to schedule an appointment. Always take the car in when scheduled and always have the work completed when they say it will be co.plwte. Great service and great staff. Highly recommend them to work on BMWs. Just had radiator and water Pump changed out. As always they did a great job. They are the best.

Servicing your vehicle isn't just a job to these folks - they are true auto enthusiasts - the passion for the craft shows. Everyone here respects your time and does the right thing every time. Now if everyone was like this, the world would be amazing! They embrace modern communication methods - love the instant-message style updates and being able to ask questions directly while your vehicle is service. The mechanics are very respectful, tidy and clean when working on your vehicle. Been a client for several years (and too many vehicles - hey, it keeps life interesting) and each visit is stellar. Being greeted by name, remembering small details, "What car do they have now" prods- the staff here are awesome. They don't push unnecessary services, but instead explain when and why they are crucial to your vehicles' health (and wallet down the line if skipped). See you for the next service interval!

I dropped my car off at 10am today for some preventative maintenance and was advised the car may have to stay overnight. I got a call about 2:30 saying my car was ready. What a Bonus!!!

Staff are very kind and helpful, and I always have good interactions with them. They always let me know what needs to be done, what can wait, and what can't. Everytime they've worked on my car it's been great, and they always get what I need done in a timely manner! Definitely would recommend it.

This place is very professional, fair and honest. I felt like I was at a dealership. They performed my repairs quickly and also provided shuttles to return you home or loaner cars. Not many mechanics provide that service. Now I only trust them with my Audi.

Took my car in for an alternator change. Bryan called me and told me that only a battery was needed. They could have easily told me i needed a battery and alternator and charged me for everything, and I wouldn’t have known any better. Stand up guys and I will always bring my vehicles to them for now on.

I dropped off my Tiguan at Hans Wittler’s Wilshire Ave location on 11/20/2024 due to a coolant leak. They called and told me I needed the main water pump replaced. It had been replaced at another German auto shop in January so I said I’d contact that shop regarding warranty. A few minutes later, while I was just getting off the phone with the other shop, a service manager at Hans Wittler called me back saying there had been an error and it was actually the auxiliary water pump that needed replaced?! Odd mistake and very different replacement in terms of cost. It wasn’t just a verbal communication error, they had initially, in writing, quoted me thousands of dollars for the main water pump replacement. The auxiliary pump had also been replaced recently enough to still be under warranty (at a third, different shop), and at that point I was not trusting the competence of the techs or the oversight by the service manager, so I declined the repair and took the car to the specialist who had replaced the main pump. After extensive diagnostics, he found neither the main water pump nor the auxiliary water pump to be leaking coolant. But Hans Wittler’s invoice (the copy they gave me after I paid) stated “Water pump is actively leaking coolant and not properly pumping coolant, it makes a bunch of noise when it tries to run and then when it turns off the drips start falling. Recommendation: Replace water pump to remedy coolant loss occurring currently.” I am really unhappy to have paid almost $200 for this sketchy treatment. When I reached out to Hans Wittler’s “we’ll make it right” feedback link, I got no response. I’ve had other, very expensive work done on my Tiguan at that same location, but this experience has made me doubt the quality and reliability of their work in general.

I have a fairly rare SAAB 9-3 Aero convertible. The one main Saab specific guy in ABq retired a few months ago. Hans Whittler did a great job with several issues, timing belt, SAAB specific break light, replaced a unique oil cap, etc. They are confident they can keep my SAAB running and seem up to the task ! I will be use them again for sure.

I recently took my BMW back to Hans Wittler on Wilshire, despite having adequate experiences in the past. This time, however, the service was truly a 5-star experience, and it’s all thanks to their new customer service rep Nathan. Nathan went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of, answering all my questions and keeping me informed throughout the process. His professionalism and attention to detail completely changed my impression of this facility. Thank you for everything Nathan!

I scheduled a simple oil change for 9 am, but upon arriving exactly on time after an hour's drive, I learned it would take atleast 3-4 hours before they even got to my car, making the appointment pointless, and I question why that time slot was available online; additionally, their online payment system is insecure, as it led to unauthorized attempts to use my card after my last payment.

It's taken me a while to write this for which I am sorry. I own a Porsche 997 Turbo. I love it, but it's not the cheapest car to maintain. It had a lag at about 3500 RPM, which was pretty perplexing. These guys fixed it right away, changed the oil and the whole bill came to less than $600. That's honest work at a very reasonable price. Addendum: I still give this place five stars. My Porsche has had some additional problems, but they fixed them in a reasonable fashion and for a reasonable price. It's just a complicated car. I've even thought about getting rid of it, but on a cool fall day when the leaves are falling, the top is down and the radio is on, life doesn't really get better than that.

Absolutely outstanding! Very pleased, so professional, very well explained the problem with my VW Touareg TDI. They got me in and out within 30 hours my beast was fixed. Excellent job , thanks again Hans Wittler’s north side. Most definitely I plan to go back for any service that I might need .
