They are the essence of an Honest Mechanic, I have been a steady customer for over 6 years. I had six cars maintained by them over those years. I can’t say enough about their friendly treatment. They are always accommodating to my continually shifting schedule. Their tire prices are lower than comparable tire centers.

Harmar Tire is great. The online appointment scheduling is easy. The text updates are great. Most recently they performed an alignment after I replaced suspension parts myself. They checked my work, did the alignment, and I also got better than Tire Rack prices on some high performance Continental tires. They even filled out the rebate so I didn’t have to. Great shop.

I needed tires and a 4 wheel alignment. They were very helpful and educated me on a good set of tires and the alignment. Also got it done in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend.

I never got anything done at this place however I was wanting a oil change and I went up to this place to try and get a oil change thank god I didn’t my brother owns a real shop I walked up and on the window it said it was a veteran owned business which I am a veteran and service connected I went in to see if they could give me an oil change I saw the stickers or sign on the window and simply asked if they had a military discount? The younger lady at the counter and the younger guy at the desk simply told me no we don’t give a military discount at all and kinda laughed at me. I don’t mind if you don’t do that however don’t put on your door that you are a veteran owned business and then basically laugh at me when I ask if you give a discount to service members. Take the sign off your window if you feel like that about vetrans don’t try to make people give you business by putting that on your door if that’s how you treat your fellow veterans

I went in to have car inspection and oil change. My car need brakes all the way around and rotors. The shop mechanic came out and showed me what was wrong with the brakes and why. It was like a breath of fresh air confined a mechanic that was truthful and showed me what was wrong. I had the brakes fixed and will go back in October to have my oil changes and plugs changed and other services done. I am very glad I find this place. They are a true honest mechanic.

LOVE this place. Samantha is so personable and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better biz to have opened in this location; take excellent care of the property, which really brightened up this stretch of road. Hope it’s here for years to come so we make it a point to use this place and recommend this place to friends so it stays for years to come!

I got recommended by a friend so I arrived here with high hopes, unfortunately they made me feel like i was stupid and that i didn't know my own car. a/c recharge went great but they didn't listen when I said that the temperature knob was broken and that it wouldn't change the actual temperature. I had to repeat myself many times and they still didn't listen to me. in the end i got charged for the diagnosis along with the a/c recharge even though it was inaccurate because my heater DOES work. I was told that the heater was "lukewarm" even though all they did was turn off the a/c button and turn the BROKEN knob that doesn't (!!) change the temperature. I am so frustrated that im about to take a hammer to that knob and break it off myself. I dont know what is so great about making people feel stupid, but I want no part in this in the future and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Always outstanding service. Customers can expect excellent workmanship, a phone call with a clear explanation and photos if anything extra is noticed that needs attention. Took it in for state inspection which it passed. They let me know that a muffler flange was rusted, and showed me photos. It should get replaced in next month or two and they told me their parent company Oakmont Automotive and Tire could fix it if I so wanted or could take it anywhere else I chose. Oakmont Automotive is also outstanding so I took it there in a couple of weeks. These folks always take great care of your vehicle and their prices are reasonable and much less than a dealer but get the job done faster and as good or better. 5/9/2024: Took it in for oil change and yearly review for any issues. The folks at Harmar Tire and Service are so thorough. You always get an honest appraisal of what’s needed, and what is not needed, and photos of areas that need attention before they proceed. They found suspension problems with a leaking strut and control arm issues— would not have passed inspection without correction. It’s fine now. So you can trust them to do a thorough and skillful job and get detailed explanations. It is a pleasure to know your car gets great service there.
