I contacted AAA for a flat tire, and the mechanic who came was courteous and quick. He worked for Hartmann's, so I chose to come here for the repair. I'm glad I did! The mechanics found the leak, plugged it, and switched my tire back in maybe 20 minutes. They were all friendly, including the receptionist, and the process was way less stressful than I thought it would be. I would definitely come here again!

This is a predatory tow company that charges excessive fees My car was was towed from parking in a spot that I did not know was illegal and they charged $500 to get it back less than an hour after towing it

I feel this was a predatory tow company and that my vehicle was towed illegally. Within two hours of parking at a church to ride with Mom to the hospital, my SUV was towed, without first informing the police, from House Springs to Way up in St Louis somewhere. There are plenty towing companies in my area, however Hartman's is nowhere near me. They were horrible when I talked to them in person as well, very rude, loud, unhelpful. Additionally, for the less than 24 hours since they took my vehicle they charged me almost $500! I showed them on the Missouri website all the laws that were broken when they took my vehicle, when they later refused to allow me to leave with my vehicle AFTER I paid them, etc and all the lady "manager" and male workers did was berate and harass me and my family. There was no help, nothing I could do. I felt my rights were violated by this company as well as the church which has an empty parking lot 99% of the time.

Took my car in because the check engine light was on. They called me several hours later and said all of the spark plugs were "shot" and needed to be replaced and it would cost $1600. When I told them I wanted to take it somewhere else they started trying to say some of the items listed on the cost breakdown (which included over $800 in labor) weren't needed. I still declined and they charged me $156. Took it to Stricker Auto in Brentwood where they diagnosed the actual problem and repaired it for $250 which included only one hour of labor fees. When I asked about the spark plugs, Stricker said they were fine but if I wanted them replaced it would be only an extra $100 (parts & labor). Run don't walk away from Hartmann's and go to Stricker Auto in Brentwood.

This company participates in predatory towing. The blatant disregard for decency and the speed at which they swoop in to tow is appalling. They were waiting to tow my car and countless others at Brentwood Park when I was planning to be there less than 30 minutes with two of my kids. It's a shameless money-grabbing operation, and any company that would participate in predatory towing at a kids park speaks volumes for the type of people that run this operation. You do the math.

Price gauge on tows said one thing on sign and enforced another had my car no longer for 1 hr. I pulled up to the business the car had not even been dropped I told them I would give them the money right now and told me it had to be cash. Told me they were charging me a storage fee and a gate fee (which there is no gate)… they don’t care about their own rules, called the police and they also said it made no sense but nothing they could do. The lady told the police that the sign was old but somehow they have them up on their business. Gave me the a number to call to make a complaint with the office that regulates towing. IF YOUR CAR IS EVER TOWED BY THEM JUST KNOW THEY ARE OUT TO GET MONEY AND THAT’S ALL. I expressed that I been having a terrible day and month with the car already give me a lil break.

They towed my car to the wrong shop. When we called to find out where they had towed it, it took nearly 45 minutes for them to figure out where they had taken it. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

This place charged this grandmother $450 in cash only to get my car back after it getting towed because I parked it in an apartment complex parking lot where I was visiting someone with my little grandkids. This is highway robbery, and it's insane that places like this are even legal.

Used their services through our insurance provider. The coordinator was super helpful explaining all the steps and the driver called to let us know what he was doing and answered all of our questions. I was impressed with the process and was made to feel like they were truly there to help and serve me during this rather bad day. I will definitely use them again, but hopefully I won't have to

We've had two repairs on our car done in the last several years. We were very happy with the service and work that was done. They work so well with our insurance company which made everything so much easier. I always appreciated their friendly service. Thanks 😊

Great customer service! Had my car ready to go when they said they would. Kept me informed of the progress on the car and gave me options on fixing it. I will definitely use this company again if needed.

They just towed my car and other cars and instead of going directly to the tow shop .. they went to a different street n Rallyed up other vehicles.

Car towed here for insurance claim. They were quick, perosnal and polite. The car was repaired and fixed in a quick time frame. The car was not cleaned as I had hoped nor were the tires checked even though sensor indicated issue. Later discovered, the tires were not the original (fault of claim not repair shop). Still, I didn't feel safe driving on tires that weren't original nand had sensor issue. After calling them, they were honest to admit they didn't touch the tires.

My car died in rush hour on 64 west. They were able to load my car up and change the alternator the same day. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. It was like being at my friendly hometown mechanic

My car was in an underground parking garage so the tow truck operator pushed it to the entrance to hook up my car, as his truck was too big to come in.

Secretary Diane is rude. She hung up in my ear stating that they could not service me because I was on the high way. Do you know you could have future clients? And very dollar you help assist makes your company grow. You get paid more per hour doing something else ?? She states she didn’t hang up and My phone may have dropped, it did not drop. She then said I hung up. Which was untrue. Despite that she said it’s confusing talking to my husband and I separately. Which I stated continue to talk to my husband. I just wanted to update her on the car condition. She then proceeded to talk to me. Even though she stated she was confused and I stated just talk to my husband. She also stated she didn’t even dispatch someone out at all. With children in the car on the high way. I stated please dispatch. We will have a place do you know how long it takes to get someone out. Just extremely disappointed but expected. The secretary was unprofessional. I am so happy you guys don’t have my money. If you are rude on the front end, I can not imagine the back. So thankful my funds stay my funds. We are prepared and packed and will patiently await a new company.

Towed the car well. Polite. They billed everything to my insurance without my assistance. They didn't call me 20 minutes before the pick up like they said they would, but at least the guy waited around for us to walk back.
