Everytime I come here I am so well taken care of! All of the employees go above and beyond for their clients each time and are very kind! They don’t try to push up charges or anything like that either. So of course when i needed my oil changed i knew who to come to. Wes helped me today, not only with my oil change but also identifying and looking at a few minor issues my car had! Always a very pleasant experience at the university xpress lube!!

I had a wonderful experience with these guys! It was my first oil change and it went better than I expected. No up-selling, no treating me “like a girl”, they made jokes and kept me laughing from start to finish and were quick and helpful!

Just ask for Moe, this guy doesn't try and sell you stuff you don't need. He was very observant as he looked over my car, told me I had small leak. Honesty.

The waiting area was clean and comfortable, equipped with complimentary coffee and Wi-Fi, which made the wait enjoyable. The technicians worked efficiently, and I didn’t have to wait long before my car was ready. What stood out the most was their attention to detail. They checked all the essential fluids, inspected the filters, and even provided recommendations for future maintenance without being pushy.

Ryan is an awesome manager. I arrived in my bright green jeep and my car is very clean and I was able to get air in my tires with his help. Being a female I don’t know much about cars but they helped me. This is a one stop shop for oil change, car wash and air I know this is my new to go place Thankyou guys!

I went in for an oil change but ended up with something hanging out from my steering wheel ! I called back and was told to bring it back which I did . They had no idea what it was nor did it happen during their services.. Not sure what it's going to cost to get the issue resolved ! Not pleased with this😢.

I had a very concerning experience at Havoline Xpress Lube Charlotte, on University City Blvd. I went in for an oil change and also received a multi-point inspection. The following day, my car's engine failed while crossing a busy intersection. Upon contacting the company, they acknowledged that there was security footage showing improper maintenance at their facility. This led to them mandating additional training for their shop workers. Despite assurances of fixing my car and replacing a specific valve, Havoline only made “adjustments”. Now, my car's engine is totaled, and I am facing $16,000 in repairs and currently in discussions with attorneys to address this issue. For anyone considering Havoline Xpress Lube Charlotte for vehicle maintenance, I urge caution based on my experience. An incident like this shows the importance of thorough and competent service, especially for something as critical as vehicle maintenance.

Went to get my wife's car inspected after every other place I called was on a wait. Got in and out in a hurry. I was surprised on how little time it took.

I was so impressed with the service I received today. Julius was the BEST! Julius kept me informed through the entire process along with his recommendations on filters I needed to replace. Because of the outstanding service and honesty I received from Julius today I will only use this Havoline station. Wish I could give him 10 stars.

Big shout out to the service technician who changed the driver side low beam headlight on my daughter's Jetta on 10/10/23 afternoon. I live out town. I usually check the car when it's home, but last week I didn't see that light was out until she had to go back to CLT, and I didn't have time to fix it. After reading the reviews, I sent her to this location with new lights bought in CLT. Huge thanks to whoever did the change out quickly and w/o a crazy up sell. As her father, I feel reassured she is traveling with two working low beams again. Great work and I appreciate it!

My man changed my windshield wiper so fast that I didn't realize he was done. I came in being all spacey because I didn't have any coffee and he was so polite.

The Manager was rude and condescending. He was insulting and demeaning and insisted on showing me the bill first before the services to ask me if I was going to pay. After I questioned it he refused me service and asked the staff to stop. The workers were friendly and said he always does that to African Americans. I've been here many times before but I am done. Please take your money elsewhere. Haram service!

Whoever is in charge here is always rude. Stop being so condescending & work on helping your customers understand your services. My family is full of mechanics and I've never been talked down to this bad. There's a million other oil change places in Charlotte, definitely recommend going somewhere else; support a small business instead!
