Going to this mechanic has been a nightmare. He said he’d replace my transmission for a new one and once I picked it up the car never worked. I’ve taken my car back for the 6th time and he finally told me it was a used transmission and that it wasn’t his fault it didn’t work. he would have me drop it off and he never worked on it. He would lie every time that it was fixed. Well the transmission kept leaking. In the beginning he said he’d give me a warranty, will he refused to give me my money back. I ended up selling the car and lost thousands of dollars. Save yourself the headache.

I only gave one star because I had no option to give zero stars. He over charges and miss diagnosed engine problems and vehicle still had to be taken to another Mechanic to have issue resolved. I would recommend the city dump or this Mechanic.

If I could I would of gave 0 stars. He plays a guessing game when it's diagnosing a vehicle.

My wife and I found Luis and Hector selling a car through Facebook Marketplace. Luis told us they purchased the car in Feb '22, replaced the transmission and everything was good to go. After the week, we noticed transmission fluid leaking and immediately called Luis. I came by, got up under the car and said because of the way the transmission is, there is no real way to check the fluids so they filled it and the leaks were just overflow which would soon stop. My daughter headed back to college and on her next visit a month later, we noticed the leak hadn't stopped. Again, we called Luis and we fell for the same excuse. She went back to school and she didn't return until Aug '22 when the fluid was still leaking. We took it to another trusted shop, Cornerstone Auto Repair, and they identified a hairline crack in the transmission case. We went to Hector's shop to request resolution and Hector informed us that he and Luis were no longer partners and blamed it all on Luis. He provided Luis' new business location and we received more of the same with Luis not accepting any responsibility either. Hector said Luis was to blame because he installed transmission while Luis said Hector was to blame because he purchased it. They both agree their roles in the repair, but refuse to share responsibility. I'm currently working with a shop to see if it can be welded but in the meantime, I've engaged our attorney's to pursue legal action.
