Best service in the city. This team is trustworthy and competent. It is clear that everyone works there wants to work there and that the passion is strong. Very friendly and patient folk as well. They are always more than willing to educate me on cars and other questions I have. I will always go back!

Just had our SUV inspected and brakes replaced. I know absolutely nothing about cars and not only was I shown the issues he explained everything so I understood. I was treated as if I was a family member. No more dealership for us!

These guys are great. They’ve consistently provided great service in a timely manner on both cars I’ve brought to them over the years. Not once but twice they finished the work for LESS than they quoted because they told me it took less time than they estimated. I’ve never seen a mechanic do that. They also do a great job of explaining exactly what is being done to the car so you understand the overall cost. Truly a one of a kind shop.

I just moved to Mt. Lebanon and Hetrick's was the first place I tried out for a mechanic. I don't know much about cars, and the first work I had done was getting new control arms. Long story short, I had a subsequent intermittent noise on my RAV4 that I took back to Hetrick's 3 times for them to fix. I could easily be upset about the situation, but the noise was hard to elicit and for all I know it is a rare issue. Throughout the whole process, Demetrius and Lisa were very kind and each attempt to fix my issue was free of charge. On the last visit, Ian the mechanic rode along with me so we could elicit the sound together, and then he was able to fix it that day. Very happy with how Hetrick's handled the situation and I will certainly be back.

Tried out this shop a few times based on the excellent reviews. On one occasion they installed the rear sway bars incorrectly - left on right and right on left. On another occasion they didn't appear to check out the noise I was hearing when the vehicle was in a right turn and told me nothing was wrong, so I had to go back a second time and do a test drive to show them I wasn't making up the noise. Then was told they were confident I needed the upper control arms replaced, though it sounded to me more like a CV joint issue. When I wanted to take my car to another shop for a second opinion, they said they'd have the head mechanic check it out to be sure it was the upper control arms that needed to be replaced, which was confirmed. I said okay and moved forward with the repair. The noise is still there, it's worse than before, and I don't trust that it's safe to drive the car - have to go to another shop now. Maybe just a couple of bad experiences, but I won't be back again - too much time and money wasted.

I got absolutely shafted. I called in about my AC and they said there were two options, a diagnostic or a tune-up. I asked about pricing and was basically told, "They're about the same," but never given a number. So I made an "appointment," for a Thursday. I asked what time, and was told "we open at 8." So I show up Thursday at 8 and drop off my car for the "tune-up." I was told this could take up to two hours. So I went home and waited 4 hours before calling, and was told something along the lines of "oh, yeah we're pulling it in now, if you leave home it will be ready by the time you get here." My AC worked for 20 minutes and then started blowing out warm air again. I called immediately and was told they couldn't look at it today, I should come first thing in the morning again. (Like, I don't have a life.) I showed up and was told a couple hour wait again and this time I just said that I would wait. 45 minutes later, I'm being shown a $1,500 estimate. Upon telling them I was not going to pay that, I asked for my 200 bucks back for the "tune-up." Of course he said no before I could finish asking. I told him I wasn't made aware of the pricing up front, at which point he told me it was explained to me, not realizing it another employee I talked to on the phone and not him. At this point, I'm out $200 and am exactly where I was before I ever came in. So I leave, not very happy, and get a text message that reads "LUKE WE NEED YOU TO COME BACK SO WE CAN CHARGE THE SYSTEM. YOUR SYSTEM IS DRAINED." So basically they drained the refrigerant and forgot to put it back in before sending me on my way. I called and asked what this meant and was given some goofy excuse of how it happened, and was told they'd fix it free of charge. I did not go back, because I didn't trust them. *** I am not confused about the process. I asked for a recharge on the phone and was pointed toward a tune-up. Your phone service says your record calls, so go back to when I called you Tuesday at 1:24 and check what I asked for and listen to how I was never given a price.

It can be hard to find a good and honest mechanic that you trust. After spending hours on Google and reading reviews, I'm happy that I chose this shop. The staff is amazing and the service was fast, efficient, and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

EVERYONE GO TO THIS PLACE. The people that work their work hard and are honest. The owner personally works on cars and oversees the work being done. The owner also spent time talking to me about my car's health and was very personable. I will absolutely be going back.

First went in for a second opinion on an old car, they provided much more detailed information than other shops. Went back for service later, and they called to clarify what was needed where others might have just charged more. Honest work and great communication

Hetricks always does great work and I never feel like they’re trying to sell me stuff I don’t need. I don’t know much about cars, and they never make me feel like an idiot. I’ve had oil changes, brake work and electrical stuff worked on and I’ve always been happy!

Hetrick’s has always provided quality service to me and all my car related ailments. They are always willing to answer any and all questions honestly and patiently whenever I am there. They go as far as popping the hood or getting down on the ground and showing me exactly what they are talking about when explaining the nature of any repairs. I recommend them to everyone!

I have used Hetrick's for about 2 years for service. I have been very satisfied. I really like Lisa that has worked the front desk but everyone I have dealt with has been courteous and professional. Glad I can still get in quickly as they seem busier than when I first started going as people are holding on to their vehicles longer than they were in recent history.

Quick and friendly service! I went in for a problem with my headlight and they diagnosed it within minutes and were able to change the “pigtail” (I think is what they called it). Since then, my headlight has been working perfectly.
