Where do I even begin!!! Garrett is a saving grace! I can’t thank him enough for all of his help to save my baby(car). My plans took a turn at the last minute, but no matter what Garrett was there to help and answer any concerns I had. I would recommend this body shop to everyone! The entire team is helpful, personable, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers.

I reached out to several places for a quote before choosing High Octane, and I’m glad I did. They answered all my questions and were transparent about what they could and couldn’t do. Not only that, but they also offered the best price among the five places I contacted. High Octane handled my Mercedes Benz with exceptional care. Other shops quoted me outrageous prices for services I didn’t even need, but Garrett made me feel comfortable and respected throughout the process, which I greatly appreciated as a woman dealing with car issues. Garrett was always available to answer my calls and even helped me replace my passenger side visor. Garret did an amazing job fixing my bumper, and for half the cost of replacing it like other shops wanted to. He also did a couple little odd jobs on my car while it was there and now my car looks the best it has since I got it.

I had noticable big scratches on my fender. I brought the car here and they were able to polish and repair it almost like a new car. They presented me all the options, either to do buffing or complete paint and coat. Something that I didn't receive from other car shops, as they just presented me the most expensive option. Gerrett, the owner, is very knowledgeable, and a pleasant person to interact with. He's also very fair in pricing.

I took my car to high octane body and paint after a collision. My car was done in a timely manner and Garrett saved me my deductible. He's a great spirit. I would definitely recommend his shop because he made my car look absolutely wonderful.

Came by for an estimate, and left with a new friend. Garrett is honest, funny, professional, which is hard to find. The price was much better than others, and he let me watch the work quality on a tour. No thicl bondo, proper procedures. ( I grew up as a young lad sweeping at an auto body shop so I know what is proper and not). Also turns out we both love electric scooters and audio systems.

Garrett at High Octane Body was professional, fast, and less than half the cost of the other estimate I got. I'll never go anywhere else for body work. I showed up for an estimate just after 5pm. Garrett squeezed in my repair the same day. He is incredibly friendly, honest, skilled, and fast. He waives the $500 insurance deductible for some major repairs, and charges just half the deductible for other repairs. Highly recommended.

Took my Camaro here with a pretty good sized gash across two body panels. Couldn’t be happier with the shop and couldn’t be more disappointed with my insurance company. It took Garrett under a week to order the underline damaged components, take delivery, install them, reforge and repaint my body paneling. And this was over the MLK long weekend. It took my insurance company a month to deliver the check to High Octane. Apparently it takes four times as long for insurance to do paperwork as it takes High Octane to do actual work. They even cleaned the car inside and out. Talk to him before you talk to your insurance company and they try to send you on a quest to get your car fixed six towns over.

Garret is my go to car mechanic, not only is he super helpful, resourceful, and knowledabgle, but he is extremely reliable and honest. I trust him with my car, and trust that he is looking out for his customers. He will help you work with your insurance company to get a great deal and will refer you to someone in the area if he can't help with your specific car issue. He has a nice big warehouse that is easily accesible in west oakland. I couldn't recommend him more highly. I know my car is safe and that the problem will be solved if I call Garret. Thank you.

This review is long over due. From the time my car was repaired here, i've sent everyone i know in need of repairs to this shop. Top of the line body shop. Garrett explained every step of the process clearly and delivered great work. It was a relief to deal with a shop that conducts business in this manner, after going in, not knowing what to expect. And i definitely want to thank Garrett (if he sees this) for helping with my deductible.
