I can’t recommend Hillins Auto Repair highly enough! Their team is knowledgeable, honest, and truly goes above and beyond for their customers. They took the time to explain what needed to be done and gave me a fair, upfront quote without any hidden charges. The repair work was completed quickly, and my car is running better than ever. It’s rare to find a shop that combines quality service with such integrity. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my auto repair needs. Hillins is the best in the business!

Had my car serviced there a few months back, had an oil leak that caused my engine belt to squeal. They fixed my problem at a reasonable price. I took it again for a battery issue and they said it was just a bad battery. They are great, friendly, and honest there. I really appreciate their service!

Had a knocking sound under my hood when I was driving. Brought it here and they diagnosed the problem in under 20mins. They gave me a very affordable quote and they repaired it and I haven't heard a noise since and my car feels brand new again. Thank you Guys yall are the best.

I'm no longer pleased with their service. They're overpriced and don't stand by their warranties anymore. I no longer take my truck there. And wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Business reply is a lie. I called and told them the Part they replaced didn't fix anything. They told me that it must be something else. Duh! Never told me about some extra special warranty nor did they offer to actually fix it with no additional charges. And they checked the most expensive possible causes first, then the common cheap fixes. They replace the fuel pump relay. $35 part, takes 1 minute to replace and charged over $230 because they spent over an hour checking fuel pressure and other things that they charge high dollar for. These mechanics are what give repair shops a bad name.

I've been taking my cars exclusively to Hillin's for about 6 years now. They are always friendly, honest, and fair, and do a great job. I won't trust my car to any other shop in San Antonio.

Kenny and Nancy are phenomenal!! All my business will go to them and anyone who will listen to me. I got my car to them and within a day or two knew exactly what the issue was (and there were many because my car was bought second hand), found affordable options to fix the issues quickly, and had my car ready for me the next day. They had to fix my CV Axels, replace my gear shifter because it completely stopped, so an alignment and fix my leaking radiator, and broken AC. Kenny is super kind and knowledgeable. He and Nancy both take the time to ensure you understand what is going on with your car and what they did to fix it. They are not condescending like other places. And they have an incredible warranty program for any repairs they make. Their customer service is above and beyond all other auto repair places. I will be going here for any future repairs that may be necessary. Thank you both!!

This is the 2nd time I have taken my vehicals to get repaired. I have a 2016 F250 that just stopped running & would not turn on, I spent $1,300 on a Wana be mechanic that said it was the fuel pump, when that didn't work he said it was the Throttle Body. Needing it for my Landscape business so I willingly spent the money. After that didn't work he said to take it to spit fire? Look money I have, but not to throw parts at it because the mechanic is guessing! I found Hillin's on goole read their 5 star reviews. Finally a shop with reputation. They tell you how long it will take to figure out what is wrong with it, the cost of trouble shooting up front, ask you if you want to move forward with the price before they start. I can trust that. Their not cheap but nothing good is and you dont want cheap, trust me. When you want the best money can buy for a shop who knows what their doing, its worth every penny bar none. I just picked up my 2nd car & I will take my all my vehicals there from now on. You get what you pay for out there, buy it nice or buy it twice!

We took our car in Monday morning and by Tuesday early afternoon it was ready for pickup. The price was reasonable and the issues were clearly explained to us before they started any repairs. My AC is finally blowing out cold air just in time for Texas summer heat! They also fixed a problem with my steering column. The staff was friendly and professional! I would certainly recommend Hillins Auto repair to family and friends!

Absolutely the best! I had three different ford mechanics look at my car and three different diagnosis. I brought it here because of their reviews. Ford had my car for over two weeks and he had my car for three days, to include the diag, part orders, repair and balance. Did a great job and put me at ease. They also back their work with a warranty. I highly recommend and won't go anywhere else.

Came Back ~!! Nov for noise -rattling somewhat knocking? Ken or Lee dug into this issue and got the job done. They were not sure about the results so they warned me it may or may not be that easy to remedy. As luck w/have it it was pretty easy task. Price was right and I'm very happy. My ride is back to a quiet engine and better piece of mind. Thanks Hillins.

The BEST auto repair shop in town! I purchased a brand new vehicle from Ford in January 2021 and within only having the car for one week I noticed a loud and obnoxious rattling sound (like a bag of nails rattling) coming from my subwoofer which is located in the rear right side of the car. I took my car to the Ford service center four times in which they replaced the subwoofer and added padding to decrease the rattling, however, the sound never went away and I was told there was nothing else they could do. I placed a complaint to Ford Motor Company and they said it was a known issue that could not be fixed. My fiancé’s father who has been taking his vehicles to Hillin’s Auto Repair for several years took my car to Hillin’s to address the sound issue. Hillin’s Auto Repair was able to find and fix the source of the obnoxious sound coming from the subwoofer and amplifier by identifying a loose screw and a small metal bar near the amplifier of the subwoofer which was found to be poorly assembled. I am blown away by their customer service and for actually finding and fixing the source of the loud rattling noise. Now I can listen to my music without all of the other ruckus. I will be using Hillin’s Auto Repair for all of my car repair needs! Thank you for fixing my car!
