Excellent service every time, by far the best place in town for tires, car repairs and detailing. They are equally great at most of my automotive maintenance needs. Also great for rust proofing, I visit HSS for that every fall.

I spent thousands of dollars at this shop. Money horribly wasted. Here’s the breakdown: 1. All of the electrical work I had done was shoddy. A full wiring harness for my front fender lights were hacked so badly that I almost had to pay $400 for a new harness. Luckily I had someone who was able to piece together and fix the mess after the fact. Not to mention all of the electrical connections not being heat shrinked and just electrical taped together. 2. I had brand new Yukon gears installed. Rear pinion seal blew within 1000 miles of breaking the gears in. Front pinion seal started leaking. Had both diffs inspected by two other off-road shops and they both stated the gears were installed improperly. Backlash was all wrong. I go back to DIS-honest speed shop and they tell me all is fine. Fast forward. Year later, the rear pinion seal blows again. Had to have another shop fully reinstall the gears. Horribly experience. 3. Blaming the customers. Don’t you dare try to blame the customer for any mishandlings your techs had done to my vehicle. I have several text messages from Jeff Glancy going back and forth about blaming me for damage because I wasn’t doing my part and inspecting my vehicle before going offroad. The damage was caused because YOUR TECHS messed up. Bottom line. Don’t trust these buffoons with your vehicle. Stay away. Matter of fact… RUN.

Honest speed shop defiantly has my future business, Ruth Ann answered all my questions and concerns from the jump, super friendly! The shop did an amazing job with welding my truss and guss and doing my gears. Their communication was top notch and also had pictures of the progress which was an awesome touch. Will always recommend this shop for any vehicle, 4x4 or not.

I have had multiple great experiences with Honest Speed Shop. I had an exhaust, intake, and light bar put on my 2014 Raptor, and then recently had some larger tires and wheels put on my Ram Rebel. There was an issue with the tires after the initial install but they brought it back in at no cost and fixed the issue.

My tech Zac did an excellent job installing some new shock mounts on my Colorado ZR2. Welds are clean and quoted labor price was extremely fair given that I did not order the part through them. I’ll be back in the future!

The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They got my hard to find parts and helped me through my questions with the after build. I would recommend this service for anyone! I even got priced 400$ under the going competition. My experience was great. I am a frugal picky person by nature and i have no complaints. If you have a project needing done on your jeep bring it here they will get you done right the way you want it done.

I brought my Jeep to Honest Speed Shop for an inspection and guidance on where I should focus next from a mechanical perspective and they found several small issues I needed to address in addition to suspension/steering problems. Ruth Ann and Kyle both talked with me about my Jeep and different options based on my budget. Ruth Ann in particular was extremely responsive and always pleasant. DO NOT use this place if you expect a professional environment and service. I was having some odd issues with my 2012 Grand Cherokee randomly stalling. I was recommended by some other Jeep ppl, said the knowledge base was good, good work at an affordable price and hell the name says honest so why not. Long story short, no communication, I mean like I didn’t even get to talk with the tech, Kyle. Not sure how he knew what the issue was in my opinion or how to replicate it without talking to me? Dropped it off Monday morning, Thursday came along and I hadn’t heard anything. A quick phone call would have alleviated any issues with me wondering what’s up, them understanding what the issue was, or just Bc that’s the professional thing to do? Waited another day and nothing..another day and it’s Friday (they are closed Saturday Sunday) I needed my Jeep back and still had heard nothing. I called again and was told that Kyle couldn’t replicate the issue and he doesn’t think I’m lying but it runs fine to him. Ok. No. It does it specifically at the same time and spot every day, maybe something he would have know if he had made a simple phone call. Obviously I said I wanted to get my vehicle and it was fine that I would confine my search elsewhere to solve my problem. When I came in to get Jeep, I wasn’t charged. Almost the only positive I can take from this, until I got to my Jeep and did and inspection. The Jeep was dirty like it had been taken off road, or onto roads that were not paved. Never should have seen these roads with what they were looking at. Next, bugs all over it, indicating a lot of driving. I mean it looked like a 3 hour trip through a Louisiana back I opened my door and saw the filth and disregard they left my Jeep in. I was absolutely shocked and very upset. This is very degrading and demeaning, the complete opposite of professional. I just got off the phone with the owner and he sounded aloof, I mean he was quick to throw Kyle under the bus and say he’s like that and we have to pick up after him.. stuff like that never sounds good from a customer stand point. Owner was apologetic, but again, had no idea.. I’m considering legal action after hearing the tech took it home to drive.. I asked because I notice an extreme amount of miles used.. I’m talking a couple hundred miles indefinitely. It was around 159,700 miles, I know this bc I was excited to see it roll over 160,000 in the next week or so. I got it back with 160,099 so they put about 300 miles on it in four days.. DOING WHAT? Joy riding with his girlfriend??? I can imagine there’s probably debris under it when I lift it to have a look. Ultimately, if you have a beater and you want to toss some blocks under the frame to lift it, this is your place. If you want a cool sticker put on your bumper, this would be your place. If you want professionalism service and HONEST work, DO NOT GO HERE.

Got myself into a little pickle with the Jeep during an oil change, and gave these guys a call, since they come highly recommended. They took care of the problem, charged better than a fair price, and were extremely friendly during the whole thing. They have scored a customer for life.

I had an odd problem on my modified 1991 Mustang, and couldn't track it down. It had a rough idle and I could smell fuel (more than normal, with my mods), but I couldn't find the source. I took it in to Honest Speed Shop, and they checked it out, and found that the alternator was going bad. The low voltage output was causing computer/tune issues, and so we upgraded the alternator, and I haven't had the issue reoccur since. Great shop and good people.

I have never had anything bad to say about these people over at honest speed shop. I am from Vermont and choose them over anyone else here that's local and on the internet. If you want anything for your vehicle do not hesitate to call or message them. They have the best price and best customer service and that's why I will continue to use them again and again. Let me just say this, I’m giving 2.5 stars because they “got the job done,” but it was the most unprofessional experience I’ve been through, and here’s why: 1. Their customer service rep was not very willing to help... She never responded to my questions or concerns via email. I had to physically go into the shop to place an order (during a pandemic and she nor anyone IN the small building was wearing a mask). 2. After they serviced my Jeep (put new tires on it), they couldn’t get the spare tire on the back, so they threw it in my trunk lol. 3. After 24 hours of driving my Jeep, the tire went flat because there was a leak in the rim where they sealed it. Emailed and called, of course no answer. Had to go to another shop to get it fixed. Don’t waste your time here. There are plenty of other shops around town that care about the customer and want to earn your business

Had my 2018 Ford Raptor in for all sorts of goodies yesterday; Fox 3.0 Racing suspension, ADD Pro V1 front bumper, R1 Concepts rotors and pads all around. They took great care of my baby. It was pretty cool watching the alignment process on their new Hunter lift!

Place is awesome. Called up Ruth Ann, explained I'm just getting started and had some questions about lifting my 2020 JL, she proceeded to fill me with knowledge and advice and helped me pick the right lift for my uses. I've also called her back a few times with dumb questions and she is always a pleasure to talk to! New lift gets installed in a few weeks, can't wait, I'm sure the workmanship will be fantastic. Update: Lift is installed, they delivered as promised and it looks and drives amazingly!
