I had never visited Hotchkiss until one of the best managers, leads and auto experts joined their team. Since then we have been taking all of our vehicles to Hotchkiss. During my last visit, Cody and the team identified an issue caused by previous service done at a different shop, and they immediately fixed it, brought it to my attention and I was able to connect with the past shop to have it reimbursed. Cody is one of those people who genuinely cares for the people he works with, for the customers he supports and ultimately for the vehicles we all need to get to the important events in our life. I have been using Hotchkiss for the last six months. Because my vehicle was known to the shop by the previous owner, I decided to continue to use their services. A repair they had completed back in May that was under warranty had to be redone due to a leak. In the process of redoing that repair, my check engine light comes on. Cody was very honest about the light coming on while in their possession and assured me he would figure out the issue. He was professional and made sure I was able to get back and forth to work by providing a loaner car. After the issue was identified, Cody made sure that the charges for repair would be fair and reasonable and because the issue occurred while in their possession, he was kind enough to wave some of the fees. They honor warranties and are accountable when needed. I definitely recommend this shop and will be using them for future repairs and maintenance.

First time customer, customer for life. Brought in my car expecting the worst. Danni at the front desk was so helpful and guided me through every step. The repair team did a fantastic job bringing my car up to standard. When repairs ran a little longer than expected, they offered a safe and reliable loaner at no cost. Between the savings on repairs and having to rent a car (or cancel important appointments) and having a team of friendly, knowledgeable folks, Hotchkiss is the best choice for my family. Cody helped me out when the dealership left my headlights out after a repair. Rather than paying close to $2k for just my jeep headlights to be replaced I went to Cody and they were fair in pricing as I knew they would be compared to a dealership. Hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, but I more I have my place from here on.

Hotchkiss is THEE best. Every person you encounter is personable, polite and helpful. Hotchkiss responds PROMPTLY and the electronic communication are top notch, from the review of the estimate to the approving and signing of forms. My goodness they are quick and thorough. And besides that...the premises is just warm, inviting, and clean. Over all 5 star performance.

We have been using Hotchkiss for years, and I can't recommend them more. The number one thing I look for in mechanics is honesty. I only know so much about cars, soni rely on them to do right by me. They always seem to come through. Anytime I double-check their recommendations with people who know cars always seem to agree with their assessment. Also, their prices are reasonable for the work they're doing. One time they struggled to get a part for a fix, and they were up front and honest about it, and even recommended what steps I could take to do the work elsewhere. Top notch!

***THE ONLY MECHANIC I TRUST IN DENVER*** If you're like me and terrified to take your car to a mechanic due to trust issues, say no more. You need to check these guys out! They are so thorough, and the work they do is great. You'll get a full report with pictures at the end and a detailed explanation of what's going on. Seriously though, this is the ONLY place I will ever be taking my cars to from here on out, and you should do the same!

As an owner of an older auto, I’m concerned about cost of repairs, and care for my vehicle. My concerns have been alleviated by discovering Hotchkiss Auto Repair. The care in which the mechanics and front office personnel take of my car is cost affective, fast and efficient repairs, respect and kindness toward me, and they are willing to take the time to explain in detail what my options are, and the best way to get my vehicle back on the road. They will continue to be my go-to auto repair experts!

Being a single woman in Denver with car troubles is stressful to say the least - this place was so helpful, Marseilles especially, and you can tell right when you walk in the door that these are caring & honest people. Cody is the best car guy in Colorado and probably the USA. I had the pleasure of working with him at his previous shop, and I'm thrilled he has joined Hotchkiss Auto Repair. I had never been to Hotchkiss, but once I heard Cody had joined, I knew it was the place for me. Cody is sensational as he cares about you, your vehicle and always approaches each situation with kindness, professionalism and compassion. The team at Hotchkiss are fantastic, despite being a new customer, they welcomed me in as though I'd been coming for years. The service was fast, reasonable, and exactly as described and Cody was communicative throughout the process. I have been in the repair business for 30 years. I can see a well oiled machine in Hotchkiss. Cody in my opinion has brought experience and a drive for perfection. I can see they have management pieces in place to take care of their clients. Cody will listen and advise. Great group at Hotchkiss.

Cody helped me through the process start to finish. He was friendly, communicative, and explained all the details about what was needed for my vehicle. My son’s car broke down over the weekend and I live in Chicago. Was recommended to Hotchkiss, so we dropped it off on Saturday. Monday morning they called and got the ball rolling with the diagnosis, cost and repairs. Pricing in fair but their customer service was AMAZING! Kept me in the loop with everything, great communication either via text or phone call. Vehicle runs great now and would definitely go back there with any issues. Thanks again!!

This place is hands down my favorite auto shop. They'll help you make the right choice for repairs by going over everything with you and answering any questions. They have a great process for approving repairs and pricing seems very reasonable.

Best auto shop. My car started smoking on a trip to Denver from western slopes. Hotchkiss Auto Repair was able to get me in same day for diagnostics. The brought me to the back where the car was on the rig and showed me exactly what was wrong. The mechanic was able to walk through his diagnostic process and why ruled out other common problems with the make and model. Marseilles, the service advisor/front desk, was patient, thorough, and friendly at every step of the process. He listened and used my description of the issue while engaging in friendly banter to establish rapport. While I hope to not need mechanic services in Denver anytime soon. I know I am in good hands with Hotchkiss Auto Repair.

My experience at Hotchkiss was top tier! As a first tine customer, I felt heard, valued and appreciated. They were very clear and honest throughout the entire process. Marseilles' communication was on point from start to finish. When the part I needed replaced was running late they checked in to make sure I wasn't in a bind snd offered a loaner. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

I recently had my air conditioner repaired in my 2003 pathfinder. It was a challenge and ended up requiring a couple extra appointments. Lenny and Kyle went above and beyond to ensure I received superior customer service. My air works amazing and they were above fair with pricing. Excellent customer service and superior attention to detail. I will never take my car any where else!

I'll just share my experience objectively: - I made an appointment over the phone for what I reported as likely a front wheel bearing needing replacement. I was told they'd diagnose the car and provide an estimate. No mention of a diagnostic fee. - I was emailed a two-page terms & conditions document, which I read in its entirety. No mention of a diagnostic fee. - Upon dropping off my car, I was told that I'd be charged $85 for a diagnostic fee. I said that I hadn't been told about this. The response: "we'd be out of business if we diagnosed cars for free." - I got a quote for a total of $632 to replace one press bearing (assuming that it could be changed on the car, i.e. a conservative estimate). This is an objectively high price for this job across the market. It's only a couple hours' job. If the knuckle had to be disassembled (likely on my old car), the price probably would have been double. The $85 diagnostic fee was a separate line item. - I got on the phone w/ Hotchkiss the next morning, I very politely expressed frustration again about the $85 diagnostic fee that I hadn't been told about until arriving on-site, and I politely asked if the $85 could be applied to the price of the labor for the job. The reply: "how do you think this would work out for us if we did this for every customer who asked for that consideration?" - I then got told "this isn't going to be a good fit" and was fired as a customer. I can promise I was totally polite and respectful the entire time. Fortunately, they did let me walk for free, which I thought was fair, since I said it was a bearing going in. Still, a huge waste of time. Now, my takeaway on Hotchkiss: they'll only service customers who are happy to pay above market, and if you politely push back on a price -- in my case, in fact, only pushing back on the nondisclosed $85 diagnostic fee -- they'll fire you as a customer. I won't go back... but even if I did, they might not let me back! Lol!

Recently I had my van repaired at Hotchkiss, they repaired my air conditioner and my passenger side headlight. I have to say the level of service I received from this place, especially from Marseilles was next level! Each step of the way I received text messages letting me know what was going on with my vehicle. First I was given a quote through text with an itemized break down of parts and service which I signed off on. I expected them to have my vehicle for 2 or 3 days, judging by the amount of cars in their lot waiting to be repaired. They had my vehicle repaired and ready to be picked up by 9am the next day! Which they notified my that repairs were completed by the way, I was never left guessing. Aside from the clear communication and speedy service everyone in the office was very polite and chill. It seems like a fun place to work. Thanks again Marseilles!

Amazing work!! I had a friend recommend me Hotchkiss because my car wouldn’t start after a jump, Kyle was great and got me in. Marseilles was awesome for explaining what was wrong with my car and was very straightforward and honest, and he fixed up my Subaru perfectly. I highly recommend Hotchkiss auto for your auto needs!
