I came in at 8:05 am, for an oil change. Waited on the employees, to get in, then they helped the lady behind me before me, she did not have an appointment either. I had been coming here for 10+years.

Have been having oil changed here for some time - HOWEVER Will NOT be going back! Had oil changed about 2 weeks ago, give or take. They apparently didn't put enough oil in and I started getting stranded due to no oil - no leaks or anything.

This place used to be amazing but ever since Megan left this place has turned to complete garbage to the point no one knows what they are doing. Don’t waist your time here. Also please check your receipts and the total they tell you. They told me my total was 81 something then got a notification from my bank that they charged 84. They gave me cash but that’s a level of trust you do not break with customers.

Came in, thinking I had lost a cylinder, turns out a squirrel just chewed through my ignition wire. They had my in, out, and on my way. Trusted mechanics! Update, come in and get my oil change regularly always great service, good prices, veteran locally owned.

I just happen to be driving by and decided to stop for an oil change when I was new in Kansas City almost 9 years ago. The price was reasonable and I liked the dog so I kept coming back. Given that it’s been nine years I probably left a review several years ago, but wanted to leave one again. I love this place. They are honest and quick. A while back I needed new windshield wipers. Bob changed them then soon afterward the windshield wipers were skipping. So when I was back in there for an oil change, Bob changed them for free because he said windshield wipers should last much longer than that. As long as I live in Kansas City, I will always come here.

I can never say enough good things about this shop!! Everyone is awesome!! They never pressure you for anything you don't need. They will let you know if something is going to need attention and when. I know this is not a statement you hear very often where a mechanic is concerned, but this is the most honest mechanic I've ever used!! I can't recommend House of Lube enough!! I will never take my vehicle anywhere else!!

Fair, honest, female running the front takes the time to explain the repairs and pricing. No surprises. Was in there yesterday the lobby was nothing but women! Obviously we all felt comfortable there! Second time I have been here. Each time great service.

Went to get my battery replaced after buying a new one from autozone. The mechanic that helped me was so nice I wish I would have gotten his name. I asked him if he could figure out why my engine was ticking, he found I was short 2 quarts of oil and filled it for free. He also made sure he was done by 4:20 so I could make it to work on time. I really appreciate how nice he was and I hope he gets recognized for his hard work. The woman with the long brown hair was really nice and helpful too. Next time I need help I’m definitely coming here!

It is the only place I go to get my oil change. I have a lot of my friends and family members going there now. Over the last 10 plus years I've been going I can't tell you how many times they've done something special for me if I needed it. That's just the service I get from Bob the owner and Megan the manager. She knows what she's doing and She's very good at what she does. She's the backbone of House of Lube. If you need an oil change or your car is in need of repairs go see Megan, she will treat you right. And tell her Anthony sent you.

Went in for an inspection and oil change. (Oil change went fine. They had already started it by the time I finished at the front counter) Was told I would have to leave it all day. When I picked it up in the afternoon, they had failed it for the windshield (among several other items that I didn't agree with) as seen in the picture. It was clear from the start I wasn't going to change this mechanic's mind, I told them I was just going to take it elsewhere. He tries to tell me I'm legally not allowed to for 60 days ( completely false). Instead of letting me leave, he goes to get his inspection manual, walks back out to stand in front of my car, telling me about why he is the qualified one with the certificate. At this point I am pretty frustrated that he won't move from in front of my vehicle so I can leave. He just wants to keep arguing. This all ends after a mini screaming match in the parking lot, with verbal threats being thrown both ways. I took it to a shop down the road the next day, the vehicle passed, no problem. And I didn't even have to drop it off for the entire day. Normally I would chock it up to someone having a bad day, but it seems there are several other reviews like mine in the last year. I wonder if management changed recently. Because there is no way these positive reviews came from the current unfriendly staff.

Came in for a inspection had a dime sized rock chip on the passenger side that I had safelite repair tried to tell me it failed because of that I started arguing with the girl at the counter and she said well we have to call our windshield guy and it would be an additional 50 dollars I said wait you just told me the windshield can’t have any defects now your telling me we have to call our windshield guy to see if it will pass. Total liars and thieves I would never recommend this place to anyone. I contacted Missouri HWY patrol and they said the chip has to be 2 inches in diameter are bigger mine was dime sized. I went to another inspection place passed and was out of there in 29 minutes. Never again, the service unprofessional and unacceptable. Again, liars and thieves.

I've been going to house of lube for car repairs, oil changes, and inspections as long as I've owned cars, I've brought them some really weird and terrible car problems and they've always done a fantastic job making my car driveable, and if they can't do it they recommend a reputable place for me to take it and they do just as good. Every employee there is fast, efficient, and reasonable. Recently I took them a new used car to get inspected, and while they inspected it (it passed) they also fixed part of the bumper that was loose. Five stars, you won't regret bringing your car here.
