Went there due to my car having issues idling, was told by them that my transmission was shot and it could not be driven granted I drove it to the shop just fine. When cashing out I asked for a diagnostic report to see the tests that they conducted, when asked they looked dumbfounded and said we don't do those. I asked to then speak to the mechanic who did the diagnostic work they said he was gone for the day and it was only noon. Not even 3 hours later I took it to Firestone to get a second opinion on it and they said it was a small vacuum leak. This was a complete money grab by Howard's garage didn't even take the time to see what the problem was just thought I would buy a new transmission. Avoid this shop at all cost lazy people, lazy work.

Best place to take your car! Staff is very nice, knowledgeable and professional. They always get me in super fast and are priced very fairly. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I had a really great experience. The workers there like Mandy and Sharon are so nice! They gave me a free ice cream sandwich while I was waiting for them to fix my AC, and when I told them I needed a 15amp mini fuse, they just gave it to me for free. I will definitely be going back next time I need any work done!

I stopped by the Howard Road Garage for the first time for an inspection and I was thoroughly impressed! I've been on the lookout for a good local/family owned shop for some time and was truly thrilled with them. From the moment I made the first call, to the time I cashed out, I practically felt like family. Really kind, informative and down to earth people. A gentleman walked in while I was there with some brake issues, asking if they may be able to help out even though he hadn't had the opportunity to make an appointment, and they applied the same level of care and friendliness. That was one strong first impression. I'll be happy to take my car here from now on. 3/27/2024 update: 2 years and a number of visits later, I stand by my original review. Great shop, great people. I highly recommend Howard Road Garage.

Extremely Friendly customer service for sure but I had to change my review unfortunately because I had my car in for 2 days for some front end work,brakes and oil change done and when it was finished there was a coolant leak and there was never one prior as the mechanic also said and when I tried to address it the owner was nice but the mechanic said there was NO way it could have happened there and wouldn't put it on the lift to look to see where it was leaking so now I am stuck with another issue and I understand accidents happen but it is how you look into it and try to help the customer after spending $1,140 of work! Not cool and disappointed to be fair.

I was looking for a place to get several things on my car taken care of. After searching online, I came across Howard Road Garage. I read the reviews and thought I would give them a try. The person I spoke with was Sharon. She was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I received a call from Steve, who worked on my car. He went into detail what the car needed and quoted me a price. From past experience I knew this price was fair. They completed the work faster than I thought it would take. It’s great to know that there are still places that are friendly, honest, with fair prices, very rare these days. This will be the only place I will take my car going forward, and definitely recommend them to anyone needing auto work done.

I called with a problem after arriving back from a long trip. They took my car immediately and when they couldn’t find the problem they were very accommodating and took the car back out until they heard the noise I had described. They had it fixed and ready to go by the end of the day. Always a pleasure dealing with them.

I had a complete set of rear brakes put on just two years ago. Just took it to another garage that I trust and they said it was down metal to metal. I doubt I put 5000 miles on the car since I had the brakes done. Also when I had the car in they told me that the battery was weak and needed to be replaced. Well it's the same battery that was in there when I bought the car new and it's still working fine after 10 years. I will never do business with them again and I will tell people to stay clear of them.

Once again, nothing but the best from these guys! The ladies that answer the phones are nothing but kind and welcoming, and the mechanics are professionals. If you need something done, they will advise you of it and they are up front and honest about price. Oh and they have reasonable prices. Not only are they reasonable, but professional. They refused to throw possible bad work under the bus and simply get things fixed.

They did a fantastic job on my vehicle, I needed control arms ball joints and sway bar done along with an inspection. They had the job done in 2 days and wayy under my predicted budget!
