I highly recommend Howlier Stroud to anyone who's looking for an honest repair shop with fair pricing. My partner and I have always had an excellent experience at this shop. Andy is a great mechanic who never steers us wrong and always does consistent quality work. Michelle's customer service is exceptional whenever an update is also needed on both of our vehicles. This shop never disappoints and is a diamond in the rough for anyone looking for a quality service.

Howiler Stroud Automotive is great to do business with. After an ordeal with leaving my car at the dealership for 5 days, and them still not looking at it, my neighbor referred me to Howiler Stroud. They got me in the very next morning, and had my car looked at, diagnosed and repaired, all within a 24 hour timeframe!! I couldn't have asked for better service and their prices were very reasonable. Michelle in the front office, was so easy to work with and very helpful. She kept me updated on my vehicle several times via text, gave me details and cost all upfront, and even text a few days later to see how my car was running and if I had any concerns. I have never had a repair shop do that! I will definitely take my vehicle back to Howiler Stroud for any future services I may need!

I've been taking my car's to Howilers for 30 years! I recently made the mistake of taking it somewhere else. Needless to say, they screwed my car up. I called Michelle, and they got it in the next day and fixed the issue. Great professionalism, and keep you updated with what's going on with your vehicle. It goes without saying I won't make that mistake again. Once you take your car to Howilers, you won't take it anywhere else!

I have been going to Howiler for some time and service has always been great. In fact I just had an entire engine placeed in my vehicle and although it cost to have done it was well worth it. I would definitely recommend going to them for any sort of vehicle service

Howiler Stroud Automotive is a great company to take your auto for repair. Many many years ago while needing a repair, that where I was could not do, they sent me to Howiler! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We have been taking all of our vehicles to Howiler's for over 25 years and recommend them to all of our friends and family. They are very honest and ONLY repair what is necessary. There have been multiple times in the past that the dealership diagnosed a problem that wasn't the issue and were going to charge us $1200; we took it to Howiler's and they diagnosed the REAL issue and it cost half that amount. Another time, we were told we needed new ball joints and bearings, and we took it to Howiler's, and it was only a bulging tire. LOVE THESE GUYS!

I was recommended to visit this place by Mad Hatter for catalytic converter service. Michelle's exceptional friendliness and the technician who worked on my car left a great impression. They didn't attempt to push unnecessary repairs or upsell. I wholeheartedly suggest anyone choose this place for their car service needs.

If you are looking for a truly honest and skilled auto repair shop, I highly recommend Howiler Stroud Automotive. This is a family-owned and run business, and you are treated with full attention, clear diagnostics and explanations, and quality work. My whole family has gone there for many many years. They make sure you understand the problems and work being done and never talk down to you. They are super respectful and friendly, with great communication. It is well worth the drive if you are further away.

Been using this place for several years. Always reliable. Always done great work an reasonable pricing, my family started using them too for any issues. Downside is when u drop ur car off it isn't by appointment it's when they get to it so ur car may be there all day so if u need a easy change like oil or brakes just take it somewhere else where u r in an out pretty quickly by appointment.

Great service - prices were competitive with some of the other cheaper locations I have been to. Staff was very good with communication and their initial estimates were spot on. No surprises. They requested authorization before any work. Had them change all (I mean ALL fluids) and replace a window motor/regulator on my 2002 Camaro Z28.

I've been taking my car to Howiler's Stroud for years! They have always treated my in-laws fairly and so I take my autos to them for a lot of my work. I have a couple of others that I use and I have to agree that Andy and his staff does excellent work. They are expensive in my opinion, but I think all auto places are expensive as they get more per hour than doctors do! If you want a pretty trustworthy auto place, they will take care of you. Michelle really wants to make sure you are happy with the work.

This place stays busy, so I highly recommend calling as soon as you know you have a concern, so you can get an appointment. I've had a few services provided here. The pricing seems correct. The service is completed properly. This is my preferred automotive repair shop. One constructive critique: -It does seem to take a bit longer for services to be completed at this shop than others. Most of my services required an overnight. I'm good with this because they do great work, but if you need a quick turn around this might not be your first choice.

i came in cause my cars back left tire was going crazy after a towing company screw up, these guys figured it out in mins and gave me a fair price for it. They even stayed later just to finish the repair in the time promised, definitely will go back for more repairs in the future.
