I Appreciate Alfonso for coming out to my home and fixing my ac, he’s a cool down too earth guy, that man didn’t bullshit me not one time he stayed until he figured out my ac problem with no hesitation I really appreciate HTX MOBILE AUTOWERKS for the job well done. I highly recommend this business. I give them a 10 star review. I for sure will be contacting HTX MOBILE in the future. And recommending them to my friends and family. Thanks again Alfonso.

Down to earth people, I have a 2018 ford mustang and needed my engine swapped. A day and an half and the job was completed. Fast service, great price. They let me know what was happening along the way. My girl (my car) is up and running. Thanks to John and the guys for making this experience smooth.

Horrible customer service! Look at all of these negative reviews and how all these customers are stating how this man talk to them and calling them out their name! All i did was inquire about a service and different promotions i saw on his page like a normal customer… he started calling me name and a loser and said we have none.. i screenshot his page.. i told myself thank God i did not spend a dime here! Thats exactly how he going to talk to you if you need aftercare! And then i read the reviews and knew i was not wrong! He probably talk to his workers, wife and kids like that too! Highly do not recommend!

If anyone is looking to have any kind of repairs/work done to their vehicle, i STRONGLY RECOMMEND giving these guys a call. I don’t have enough kind words to say. John and Gabe are both super knowledgeable and friendly. Gabe did a motor swap for me and did an amazing job. Only took a day and a half to take the old motor out and get the new one in and working properly. They also kept me updated with what was happening throughout the entire process. After everything was said and done he went over everything with me, answered any questions i had and even taught me a few things!! I’m beyond satisfied with their services and can say these guys do HONEST work. Will definitely be using them again if i ever run into any other issues!! 10/10

Thanks HTX Mobile!! His worker came out fast and got my 1998 GMC Sierra running that had been sitting for a year. Was precise with how much labor and cost of parts. 10 out of 10 recommend, if you need a mechanic hit them up.

Was skeptical at first after reading a few negative reviews. But after meeting with Alfonso, he was able to quickly diagnose and fix my problem. John followed up with me after service to ask about my experience. Will definitely be using this company again!

I first started using this service in late 2021, and John and his crew were able to do a few small jobs without a problem. As I had begun to trust John and use HTX as my go-to mechanical service is the beginning of where my experience went completely downhill from there. HTX/John were hired to initially fix an oil leak for a Scion XB, after which the "check engine light" came on which was not on before. The mechanic at the time "eduardo" blamed it on a faulty piece that he "didnt touch", which caused hundreds of more dollars to be repaired. John and his crew had been trustworthy to this point so I gave the benefit of the doubt and fixed the piece. Shortly after the engine is leaking quite a bit and fails as it was on its last leg. So an engine swap was agreed upon in November 2023 and paid for and the vehicle returned mid-December. Once the car was test driven for a few minutes after completion, the engine started to make low-pitched squealing sounds and the oil pressure was fluctuating. The tech "Alfonso" insisted that nothing was wrong with the vehicle until I literally drove 20 minutes with him and reproduced all that was happening, there was even an oil spot beneath where the vehicle was parked which clearly showed this 'swapped' engine was leaking aswell. As it was proven to be faulty, John agreed to replace in January. January comes by, 'waiting on the engine to come in', February comes by, 'Alfonso will fix it on the weekend'. The Scion gets picked up and sits for a month with no movement at all as the tech and John have a disagreement, so I have to retrieve the malfunctioning vehicle myself and bring it home as its still not fixed. Month after month and excuse after excuse from John it's been 11 months since he was paid and this car hasn't been able to be used, being out of $3500+ for the swap and hundreds for the towing fees. Absolutely unacceptable and no reimbursement or remedy taken. STAY well away from this company HTX Mobile autowerks

Excellent customer service called bout 20 mobile mechanics and none came through complete run around found this company he sent technician right away even had technician to take us to get what we needed and install no charge. He don't accept payment until everything is complete and he's satisfied. Highly recommend.💯💯🙏🙏

New to Houston and have a hybrid. I found Mobile Autowerks in a fb group after unsuccessfully calling different auto shops who do not work on hybrids. My car stopped on me in the middle of a hard rain and I was in the middle of the street with no options. When I called John to describe what happened he knew what the issue was before I could finish. He had a mechanic out to my house the same day and we made a plan for repair. I worked with 2 different gentlemen and both were very helpful and accommodating. One even took me to an Advance Auto to pick up a battery I bought and installed it. I was very pleased that this company saved my life. Getting around Houston without a car is a nightmare.

HTX Mobile AutoWerks I really wanted to trust this service. My car broke down and I was headed out of town. I trusted the owner and his worker to fix my vehicle. This has been a nightmare. From what I was told the owner did not pay the tech after I paid 240.00. Because he didn't pay him the tech stole my car key and apparently ran over it. For five days my car sat because I was unable to get in it. I have to spend another 180.00 to get a key cut. The owner has been dragging this out and refuses to refund my money. At this point I plan to press charges on both JOHN and his tech. I pray this NEVER happens to anyone else.

I contacted company late Sunday night seeking assistance with changing alternator on 2016 BMW. Anibal the technician showed up to my home Monday morning, very knowledgeable of what needed to be done and explained some other issues that they could repair. Anibal completed the job and had me back up in running in no time!

I hired this company on 10/2023 to install an alternator. Alternator broke down on 7/9/2024. Since it was during the hurricane, I needed a same day replacement so I called a new mechanic. Now, I have the old part and HTX will not give me refund via autozone. John Howell is now being unprofessional by calling me names and telling me to stop bothering him. Beware of HTX, they don’t honor warranty and they change their phone numbers too!

I'm not even going to go into detail, but let's just say they fixed one thing and broke another, then refused to accept responsibility. I'm livid! Heed the other negative reviews (which I did not). If you can find someone else to fix your car, please do. EDIT: Sir, please go argue and play with someone else. If you want to post anything, please post how respectful I was when I reached out to you, followed by the way you immediately started yelling at me and cussing me out. I was patient, calm, and very much willing to work with you to resolve the issue caused by your business. However, your refusal to take responsibility for what I assumed was a mistake speaks volumes. Be sure to post my very respectful response to the way you spoke to me as well. I don't believe in the saying, "The customer is always right." However, in this case, the proof is in the photos, and you were 100% wrong.

Running a business is hard. Negativity makes it harder. Professionalism and communication go a long way. Spoke with John, good convo. I felt good about the decision to have him work on my car. Established date/time. I contacted him the day before to ensure we were still on. Replied, "Yes." Day of, no-show. I don't remember if he called me, or I called him, but it was well after the time we set to do the agreed upon work. Dog ate his homework type story. I allocated the time needed to do the work, which was taken for granted and wasted. As to his quality of work... I don't know. My rating is based solely upon John's lack of profesionalism, lack of punctuality, lack of communication, reliability, and uncaring/unremorseful attitude. HTX/John wasted my valuable time. In my opinion, they are very unprofessional at best...

I had an issue with a thermostat on a Camaro that I didn't have time to replace. I called on a Sat and they were able to come out on Monday morning which exceeded my expectations. Manny and Alfonso were both very knowledgeable, polite, and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend them and if I have another issue will definitely do business with them again.

Thieves. Scammers!! Criminals! John Howell stole $400 from me. He came out to diagnose my Audi. HE HAD NO TOOLS with him and asked to borrow a screwdriver from me. He was here 15 minutes. I gave him a diagnostic fee and money for the part. Didn’t hear from him ever again. Every time I call his number, Someone else answers and says he’s not around and has no information or knows anything about what’s going on they even hung up on me. Childish and unprofessional. I had to file a complaint with the district attorney.

All I have to say is… be prepared for a Great Trustworthy Mechanic Experience. John with HTX candor and expertise is unmatched. The convenience of a mobile mechanic but the quality mechanic experience of a Five Star European Shop. He lives up to his EuroJohnnie nickname; he was straightforward and honest from the very beginning with my Range Rover from his initial spot on diagnosis to the final repair process. If your usual go-to repair shop has you waiting or keeps giving you the run around with high costly bills because they couldn’t diagnose the problem right the first time, I would highly recommend giving HTX Mobile Autowerks call to carefree put an end to your car repair problems. EuroJohnnie is very open to your concerns and hearing your feedback but mostly fair and reasonably priced compared to most high line repair shops. John stood by his initial diagnosis and although it took longer to get my key FOB issues fixed etc it truly eliminated a lot of wasted time on chasing down the what if’s on costly modules, ground faults, air suspension issues, etc. Once the anti-theft key issue was fixed, it ultimately exposed and isolated my Range Rover’s issues leading to an overall less expensive repair. HTX Mobile Autowerks is my go to source for any European Car Repairs from my BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes, to Range Rover, John has the skills to save on your repair bills. If they can work on Euros, American (Buick, Chevy, GM, Jeep, Chrysler), Japanese (Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Subaru), or Korean (Hyundai, Genesis, Kia), are all an easy fix for HTX Mobile Autowerks.

Will definitely call again glad I did use there service coming from out of town not knowing much about cars other than driving them foreign cars at that after hearing so much about the price of fixing them how expensive it is and after taking a chance with one b.s idk what to call him "mechanic" ,lol who didn't fix the problem my car was having letting him work on my car htx is fast reasonable on price honest about there work and definitely worth giving a try for all your mechanic needs thank you for your y'all for y'all's help.

These guys are amazing. I called them out to change my right axel they did so well I had them do several other jobs. By the end I almost had them build me an entirely new truck. Great work great price. Can't be beat.
