I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hyperion Auto Repair for the first time after my car failed its smog test. I called them right away, and they were incredibly accommodating, letting me drop off my car immediately. The team suggested a tune-up and provided valuable insights into what needed to be done to help my car pass the smog test. I agreed to the repairs, and they completed the tune-up within just a couple of hours. The guys working there were genuine, knowledgeable, and professional. The next day, I brought my car for the second smog test and it passed the test with flying colors. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. If you're looking for an honest and efficient auto repair shop in the Silverlake area, I highly recommend Hyperion Auto Repair.

These guys live up to the review hype! Jesse performed a small miracle (in about 3 hours) and was very honest about what is, was and will be going on with my new to me 30 year old car. He got it up and running like (almost) new for a very fair price, well within my set budget, and he explained what other repairs I may need in the future to keep it on the road. Really nice guys at this shop- friendly, honest, knowledgable about a range of car types and ages. Definitely will continue business with this shop!

Went it for a simple 5k miles oil change on my dodge challenger, not only Eddie is very friendly but the service was fast, efficient and torough, they inflated my wheels and made sure all was right. A business like it is rare to find nowadays. Thank you!

I’m a long time friend of Alex and a DIY mechanic. When I run into trouble in repairing my cars, Alex is the person I call. He, without any hesitation, lets me know over the phone what could be wrong with my car which I’m very grateful for. I wished I lived in LA. Alex you’re the best mechanic in the world.

Even though I paid the price they wanted, they gave the car back without solving the problem. And no refund was given.You can scam me out of $422, I hope you can't do that to anyone else.

The best mechanic and general car issue shop in the world! Honest. Direct. Fast. Easy to access. Can’t say enough about how much better Hyperion is compared with any other place I’ve ever been. Today they helped me with a weird noise. Checked the breaks. Drove around with me for :20 mins to diagnose the issue. Didn’t charge me a dime. Good humans = good business.

if you are looking for honest and professional mechanics, these are your people. This is my first time at Hyperion Auto, and they made a commitment to take me in and take care of me and get me out of there super quick. Eddie was super understanding and helpful over the phone and Nick worked on my car and did an amazing job! I’m definitely a fan of Hyperion Auto now and will be back again. Hyperion Auto is excellent and trustworthy! I’m lucky I found this place for my car! I feel safe and confident bringing my car here for everything from brakes and Oil change to more serious engine repairs (my car was hit and the alignment and engine mounts badly damaged). As a woman I feel comfortable bringing my car here and the bill is always what is quoted. They are super fast as well! I have a Smart car.

I’ve had a really hard time in the past with mechanics. I read great reviews and called and spoke with Eddie.. he has been a total blessing! My check engine light was on other mechanics were quoting me thousands of dollars. I took my car here and wow!! This shop literally saved me so much money by simply being honest and servicing exactly what needed to be serviced. Doing so made it very affordable for me to be able to get my car fixed . This has been my best experience in Los Angeles. I was treated with dignity and respect as soon as I walked in literally felt like family so I’m leaving this review to help others make the right decision. You can trust your vehicle here. . Small issues can become big problems. This garage won't take advantage of you and the work will be done quickly and completely. The under-the-hood steam and fixed valve leak have my engine looking clean and ready for thousands of miles more of safe driving. Thank you Gabby Thank you Eddie

This was my first time using Hyperion Auto and I had a great experience. I dropped off my car at 7:30am and by 2:00pm I had all new brake pads and rotors and I was ready to go. They had called me during the day with an estimate and it was very easy to reach them by phone. Check out was a breeze and I appreciated that they remembered my name and car. I can tell they have a lot of repeat customers!

I took my car here for years and now it’s started dying while driving. I took it to Honda and 8 codes came up and my car is toast because these damages went so long overlooked. I would take ur car to find out what’s wrong and ask them to do specific jobs because I’m devastated they kept telling me my car was safe when it wasn’t.

This was possibly the nicest experience with an auto shop in LA I’ve ever had. Had an issue with my steering wheel. I called at 1pm, brought in my car at 1:30, and picked it up at 430. Will definitely be going back.

Eddy was incredibly helpful. I had tried to troubleshoot my van's issues on my own until I finally gave up and realized it was necessary to take it to a shop. I was worried with the amount of issues that I would be without a vehicle for days but Eddy and his team got me in and out within a day, fixing most of my bigger issues. He was very upfront about the price from the start and during the entire process. This was such a nice relief after recently taking my car to a dealership and not even being called to pick up my vehicle when they finished! Very nice and knowledgeable mechanics here. Great customer service!

The guys who run this place are very nice & knowledgable. They listen to your concerns, diagnose, and inform you of what they think you should do. They break it down so you understand. Their prices seem reasonable compared to other places I've been. They're fast and keep you updated on when your vehicle will be ready and they'll work with you on payment. I don't know much about cars, but I always feel at ease when they work on mine. 6 stars for zero - runaround. No suggesting services you don't need for a price bump, like some other shops. They're honest and thorough.

Being new to the LA area, I was in need of a trustworthy mechanic who would provide good quality service to my car. I shopped around my area for different auto repair shops and most of them had no idea what was wrong with my car and I didn't have very much confidence in them, until I came across Hyperion Auto repair. They were quickly able to diagnose my car and explain my check engine light issue. They were professional and seem honest and reasonable with pricing. There was an issue with one of my coils being damaged during the repair, however the manager took care of it and did not charge me, which really made me feel like I could trust them. Very honest and friendly people. I am one satisfied and happy customer, great experience and service! This is the only place I will take my car from now on. You guys have gained a for life customer, I highly recommend these guys! Thank you again!

This place came highly recommended by a mechanic friend and my experience with them was great. Brought my 4Runner here for some work and found out they dig old Toyota trucks. This review is long overdue. I've never written one before but it's so hard for people to find Mechanics they can trust. I have been customer with Hyperion for over a decade and not only are they my favorite Mechanics, they are some of my favorite people on the planet. Gabby, Alex, Eddie and crew are, highly skilled, kind and most importantly, trustworthy. They are like family and have always delivered top quality repair.
