Worst car repair place of all time. Highly suggest going elsewhere! I have seen the response and can assure anyone reading this that what they are claiming is not true in the slightest. I have absolutely nothing at stake here….this is actually the first google review I have ever left (I believe). The two men were rude and not people I would recommend working with.

I got into a pretty bad car accident that resulted in me needing pretty intensive repairs on my car. The issue was not easy to take care of, and I almost had my car scrapped, but I & C changed my mind. They were able to identify the issue even though it wasn't in the manual, and were able to get it fixed through sheer force of will. They did not charge me more even though the repairs required more visits and hours than originally agreed upon. Ishmael and Favio are two very hardworking guys that give you the same amount of respect that they receive from you. I highly recommend their services and will be back for any future needs.

Owner wanted to charge $65 for a simple car scan that is usually at no cost ( However i do tip). A business reserves the right to do so. However his energy was nasty and would take advantage if I didn't know better. Would not recommend

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE ITS A RIP OFF! I had them replace my A/C condenser last back in 2021, just took my car to another mechanic since i moved out of state and was told my condenser was faulty. Its a brand new condenser ... they said no.... its an old one. SO THIS PLACE SCAMMED ME! They will tell you they are doing the work but will use cheap or broken parts for a temporary fix, RUN FAR AND RUN FAST FROM THIS PLACE. I will be reporting them to the BBB

I called, asked if I could drop off my car for an oil change in 20 minutes, they said yes, and an hour and a half later my car was done. A little under $80 for a full service oil change?? I'm not going anywhere else for car maintenance again.

I feel robbed after spending almost 2k here on brake jobs and full tune up. Almost immediately all the lights came back on and I was told there was a completely different issue. I could not afford to fix with him again. I had other mechanics take second looks and all disagreed with him (that his service damaged a part in process) and I had the issue fixed elsewhere for a MUCH more reasonable price. I had gotten a full brake job here but was just told by a different mechanic today that my back brakes have already ground down to metal on metal. It’s barely been half a year since my brake job at I&C. So I was either lied to or they did a trash job. I should’ve been sketched out when they only took a couple hours to do the diagnosis AND repairs (full brake job & tune up).

The price was double what the sign states. He said it’s an old sign. What a joke. He also said he told me the final price when I dropped off the car but that I must not have been paying attention. It was fast service but don’t go there unless you are cool with a $90 bill for a basic oil change.

I had never been in a place where they treat you like trash. This man is the most impolite person I had ever met. He took stuff out of my trunk and throw them in the floor like garbage. Also wanted to charge me 45 bucks for putting air in my tire. This place should go out of business. And he didn’t even had the tools to change my tire! Ridiculous

$900 an hour labor scam I had my catalytic converter stolen and brought in my car for inspection after deciding that I wanted to order my own parts and take my car in later, the owner, realizing that he might not be able to upcharge me said he will install my catalytic converter that I order from amazon for $450(labor). I knew right away that is a complete scam when it only gonna take him 30min of labor to install; he was charging me $900 an hour labor. I ended up buying the part from Amazon and install it myself and took about 1 hour to do it myself and I am not a mechanic. Reply to owner reply: you quoted me $450 for 30minute catalytic converter labor without parts included, why don't you address that?

I was sent here by my best friend who has been doing business here for many years. The dealership had quoted me 3 times what Ishmael did for quite a bit of work. He is very honest and knowledgeable. Before I gave my car to him he explained everything that he was going to do, provided a quote and made sure that I could ask questions and get answers. When I got my car back it was running like new and it didn't break the bank. I feel safe taking my car here. (Previously I brought in my car for something little and he helped me diagnose a tiny problem that I could fix myself! He could have taken me for a lot of money and he didn't!) I & C Auto Repair has replaced: brakes, tires, wipers, and my front end suspension. In the future I will be getting my oil changes here as well. Amazing service!!

I came from very far away with my 2003 Buick Regal, 78k miles and the engine started breaking down after we hit something big upon arriving on Chicago. Ismael was very understanding and helpful. He took care of the car straight away, fixed it for a fair price, in a very timely manner, and even gave a few useful tips on how to take care of the car. When I left the shop, the car felt like new. Thank you !
