I had went on vacation and came back to all my tires being flat, so I came here to get them all replaced, no more than 2 days later my front one was flat, there was no damage to the tire, just meaning they hadn’t properly put the tire on. Had my boyfriend and some friends put the spare on it for the time being, since it was 2am and everything was closed. Came in the next day to get the tire replaced and the gentleman who I assume was the owner replaced it with no problem, but, proceeded to talk poorly of my boyfriend asking why he wasn’t capable of fixing or replacing the tire. We wouldn’t have had to return if he and his employees had put the tire on properly to begin with. After having the new tire put on, he proceeded to continue to poke fun at my boyfriend making sexist and rude remarks. I personally would not recommend, the staff is very rude and unprofessional. Edit: very unprofessional way of responding as well. Asking my boyfriend why he doesn’t fix the tire for me is disrespectful, especially when you’re getting paid to do it. It’s your job, and you have the tools to do it, where as, it isn’t his job and he doesn’t have the tools to do it. Nobody was lying except for you.

I highly recommend this place. They did a tune up and it was a good price they did it very fast and efficient. They showed what they did and replaced. Workers are friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely go back whenever needed!

Best shop in ABQ. I’ve been getting my tires, breaks and Maintance done with these guys for years. They always come through and order your parts and what is needed before you arrive. So everything is in and out! Efficient and cost effective all day!!! I recommend IMF all day!

I bought a tire for $76 a used tire and and hour and a half it got flat there was a hole in the tire so I had to put my spare tire back on but I did get another tire at another place and they checked the tire that I bought from this place and it was a hole so I called this place where I got this tire for $76 and he said there’s nothing he can do about it. I mean check the tires before you sell them I am a customer buying a tire and the least I would expect is a tire to get flat when I just bought unfair customer service the manager was not helpful and could not do anything about it. Very unfair and didn’t get no lines back or anything from buying a tire with a hole in it. So please if you buy a tire from this place make sure to have him check it in water before you take it.

After getting diagnostics from a dealership and another car repair shop for a ticking noise and their proposed fix (costs ranging from $1,400 for a catlytic converter - $3,900 for a full timing kit), I finally learned about IMF from a friend and took my Jeep there. Anthony took time to actually get the bottom of the sound - how and when it was occurring - and quickly diagnosed the real problem - and his explanation made perfect sense. He took the time to explain everything, and his price and timeline to fix it was reasonable. I'll be back for all repairs and even simple things like oil changes.

Cool people, I noticed after leaving home my tire was really low and we all know it's hard to find a working air pump in this city. They took the time to help me out and fill my tire even though I wasn't purchasing anything. Thank you! I'll be back for sure.

Great experience. Had a tire with a nail that wasn’t able to be patched- Discount wanted to sell me 4 new tires since my car is AWD, but the current tires still have a couple years left of life. Called IMF and they had a used tire- from the time of calling to out the door was less than half an hour. And saved me from replacing all four tires.

IMF tires is a good mechanic shop to take your vehicle if you have a problem they will help you with it and they will talk with you about what's going on and work with you they are the only mechanics I do trust and they do a good job and make sure the job is done right I've been going to them for 5 years and I will keep on going to them

Seems to be running an Emissions Repair scam with FasTesT Emissions Testing near the NM MVD Office on San Mateo (I noticed another FasTesT location near IMF on Eubank, on my way to IMF). On Emisssions fail the FasTesT tech offered an IMF business card saying he "trusted" IMF to do "honest" work for "his" customers, including "guaranteed" Emissions pass upon repair. IMF's Manager (mentioning no such "guarantee") gave me a $5000 estimate for my very common 2004 SUV to pass Emissions including complete replacement of 2 catalytic converters, upon doing nothing but checking Service Engine Light codes & looking briefly under hood - he hadn't even turned over the engine. IMF Office had bare wire hanging from its ceiling & customer names & phone #s written openly on white board behind desk. Manager also tried to sell me to a 3rd-party 'no-approval' repair loan outfit. Got a mechanically comprehensive evaluation resulting in a $1000 estimate for Emissions-pass work elsewhere, shortly thereafter. Re: your confused, marginally-literate 'response' – & speaking of illiteracy, you appear to have either not-read or entirely failed to comprehend my review, as you address NONE of the points made, including precise evidence of chicanery & other red flags. You may be a longstanding location but your cited conduct and the (indeed, clearly longstanding) general disrepair, neglect & disorder of the site itself DO speak for themselves – as does your vapid 'response' which, since you can't counter the realities, simply makes silly ad-hominem attacks. As for your "reviews": They are far from pristine. I encourage potential customers to examine them AND read your Better Business Bureau listing & associated Complaint documents. I did misspeak as to "owner," which I have corrected. It was _Manager_ Anthony Alvarez who gave the outrageously padded estimate for work required to clear Emissions, based on NOTHING but pulling Service-Engine codes which indicate a POSSIBLE RANGE of issues, which is the START of repair assessment – NOT an excuse to try to fleece the ignorant with "repair"/replacement of every possible component flagged, most of it unnecessary to just pass Emissions: as the reputable shop I used instead of IMF (at 20% the cost of the what IMF tried to pull with FasTesT!) proved. ps: Interesting that your 'response' is posted by IMF's "Owner" but you say you "never [_NEVER_ ??!!] talked to" them. (You've "never talked to" the owner of the business you speak for, work at and/or manage? _Really_?? That's as dissuasive a thing to put out there as any other red flag to avoid IMF a potential customer needs to know....)
