1 star is all this place deserves!! I refuse to call it a business. If anything, Bad Business!! They clearly buy their reviews. These two men (unprofessional) sitting in the office staring at you as you walk in without even a “Hello, how can we help you?” Is just simply rude, not to mention the passive aggressive behavior. Walking out was even worse. I was not rude whatsoever- actually I regret not telling you to your face how disrespectful you were! Very very uncalled for boys! I will never return or recommend your low class establishment. I’m sure you will respond and put any effort into my review to insult me. It’s ok by me as I speak the truth. Shame on you and your rude excuses

Stopped in because my tummy told me too. Stomach was not wrong I had the beef tongue torta. You can order the usual hard or soft tacos 🌮 and burritos but this is your chance to taste a bit of Mexico right here. So I classic fast food service with mom and pop quality and friendly service. Just one visit and it made the favorites list on my Google account.

I brought my previously used 3 Series BMW to college and needed a shop that could keep it alive for those four years. I’m glad I found Import Car Specialists. Not knowing much about cars, they advised me to get it serviced every 5,000 miles and I’ll have a reliable car that’ll keep me on the road. That was the truth. Four years, fast and reliable service, complete satisfaction with every visit. Now a couple years post grad, I’ve moved on to a Lexus IS 350 and they are still my go-to shop. I’ve been able to build a great relationship with these guys and can attest they are the most honest and transparent mechanics you’ll come around. They’ll get the job done, completely, the first time and won’t settle for just a band-aid fix. You’ll get your ride back good as new. I’ll be back every 5,000 miles for as long as they let me!

I took my Mercedes to Import Car Specialists for a second opinion after another shop told me I needed to replace my rack and pinion steering unit. This after losing all of my fluid and steering. I had it towed to Import Car Specialists, and they were able to identify the leak and repair the rack and pinion by replacing an O-ring rather than the entire unit. The repair was a fraction of the cost the other shop was going to charge. John at the front desk there kept in the loop, on the timely repair! I highly recommend them for all your European car repairs!

I was having problems with my Volvo starting. I stopped by without an appointment and John was able to have the mechanics install a new battery with a great warranty and got me on the road again pretty quick. As a young woman driver, I felt very comfortable with them. I will be returning for my future repairs. I finally found a shop I can trust.!

On a hot 108 degrees day in August 2024, I was dropping off someone on 17th Street and Indian School Rd just west of the 51. Turned off the 51 my warning light indicated a problem with front right tire. The tire was shredded. As fate would have it, pulled into " Import Car Specialists" 1640 E Indian School Rd Phoenix. Went inside explained what happened the owner said that John, Service Advisor would be able to help. You learn a lot about a business when you have time to sit and observe. I was so impressed with the way John Renolds greeted current customers and potential new customers on the phone and in person. John took a call from a current customer that wanted to get the mechanics opinion on a used vehicle. The mechanic pointed out pros and cons of his current vehicle vs the one he was looking at. John needed assistance with my spare tire and one of the mechanics came out to help. "Important Car Specialists runs like a finely tuned engine.”

It is interesting reading the reviews, all out of town reviews are good but locals are bad, the reviews on their website are all from 2020, nothing recent. Shows me what I tell you is true. This is by far the WORST place to take your car, and I assure you my experience is not a one off so if you take your car here you take the risk of the same... First and foremost, I got my car interior eaten by a rodent and they said that is "an act of god" not their fault it could happen anywhere. They are and I quote the owner "we are not liable" yes, they do not care from the top to the bottom we don't care what happens to your car while we have it and are "trying to fix it" Check the pictures for the facts! Horrible customer experience/service, no care or accountability for your car, a vehicle I am sure you really like and want the best for it, THEY DON"T CARE! Not to mention, less than two week later from them having my car allegedly fixing it and allowing a pest from their garage to eat some of my backseat my check engine light comes back on with the exact same problem I had when I brought it in. So now they did not fix my car, and they had a pest problem eat some of my back seat and you know what they said, not our fault, bring it back in if you want to pay more money. If this is the experience you want bring your car here, if not take it somewhere else and save yourself some damage and money by getting it fixed right the first time somewhere else in a place that might care about customers. Matt and his mechanics have been taking car of my cars for almost 20 years! I have 2006 BMW 5 Series Wagon with over 160,000 miles and they always keep it perfect...since new! A couple years ago I upgraded to a BMW 750x and they keep that car tip top! Now they take care of my teenagers Prius too. You cannot find better quality service! John the Service Advisor is always so pleasant. Thanks guys

These guys saved me! Driving my dog and myself from Canada to Guadalajara Mexico my a/c compressor failed. John got me an appointment and their technician diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. The Arizona and Mexico heat in June is dangerous for a dog, especially in a car with no air conditioning. Made it to Guadalajara 🇲🇽. A/C is perfect. Highly recommend this shop.

I'm a returning customer at Import Car Specialists. Been taking my Honda Civic there for a couple years now. Just got the brake pads and rotors replaced. So I own a cool old 04 Lincoln Aviator. It had some issues and Import Car was recommended. Seven days later, because of the scope of the work, I got it back. I could not be happier!! It was spendy but I really think it’s going to be well worth it. Thanks John and TJ👍👍❤️
