Extremely pleased with the service! My car got broken into and they came right over and taped it up. They installed a new window the very next day. They also cleaned up all the broken glass…on New Year’s Eve! They work on all kinds of cars, mine’s a Dodge.

This place is so amazing and they are great with communication! Had to bring my BMW here for an engine replacement and they were very helpful every step of the way. Thank you so much for everything you guys do! Will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know!

If i could rate this company 0 stars i would. For starters the operator was extremely rude, they offered to tow my car for free then did a complete 180 and charged me for it, storage fees are 50$ a day so if you don’t pick up your car for a month, expect to pay a premium. And on top of that theres already dozens of cars there because customers refuse to pick it up (jeez i wonder why) Anyways I highly highly highly discourage coming here just find another mechanic. Well its a good thing Kentucky is a one party state, so i could record conversations over the phone so i don’t get screwed over by companies like you.

The VW dealership told me I needed a new engine. Made an appointment here and they diagnosed the issue and took care of it and saved me thousands of dollars. The wait time can be long but that’s only because people know they are worth it!

I like to say I recently posted a something on the import doctor. I was wrong. I personally talked to the owner Mr. Dave. He's a great guy. The staff is awesome also by the way and he explained to me the process of how it goes when he trying to take care of you. I just want to say that if anybody want to go get their car fixed at a reasonable price and the people take care of you go there.

The only people I trust to work on My VW. They always know how to fix the issues, prices are fair, the people are wonderful. Even if you can't get in right away because they are so busy - its worth the wait.

Reliable, trust worthy, and fairly priced! They are not going to take advantage of you and your wallet. The whole staff is super friendly and responsive! Volvo dealership quoted my car at $2500 and import doktor only quoted $600. Nothing but good things to say!

My 2006 Scion needed the license plate lights replaced. No one could or wanted to mess with them. Another place told me it would take several hours. Really? I remembered about Import Doktor having driven by many times. I stopped by, talked to the lady in the office (very nice) about my dilemma. One of the mechanics came outside to see what could be done but I would have to come back. I made an appointment and was even told that I could wait for the car. They replaced the bulbs even though it was a challenge and I was on my way in 30 minutes. My whole experience was great, nice folks who know what they are doing.

I left a review on Facebook. My feelings have changed since my first review. Now, I give them one star. Caveat Emptor. Buyer beware and make them prove they did the work. The last oil change I waited 3 hours. Finally I asked the guy why it is taking so long. The person working on my car apologized that he forgot about me. I paid for the oil change to discover that they did not do the work. My car was running badly so I took it somewhere else. They proved the oil was never changed. My son was upset because he paid for a $70 K&N reusable air filter and it was gone and they replaced it with a cheap air filter that was severely clogged. My son went out and bought another $70 K&N filter. We will never allow Auto Docktor touch our car again. I am not writing this to be vindictive but to be informative. I go there for almost everything. One visit they changed my oil. Another visit they fixed both of my headlights. They are friendly and talented. In response to ImportDoktor's response. First, I want to thank you for responding to my review. I tried to call today but you weren't there. But, unfortunately, I don't like being the bearer of bad news. They said the oil had not been touched because there were large globules stuck to the cap. Also, I sat and watched Strickland Brothers work on my car. I even noticed they started to pick up the wrong oil. I told them that is not the oil I am paying for. They apologized and got the correct one. I watched everything they did and they did not touch the air filter. My son said the thickness of the black stuff on the air filter was so dense, that the air filter had not been touched in a long time. I only used ImportDoktor up until now because I trusted you. I am not able to watch your guys work on my car. I also regret telling you that someone in your service must have stolen the K&N filter. Your company was the only company I used until I got so upset waiting 3 hours. I watched Strickland Brothers every move. They did not touch the air filter. Also, the sticker that your guys put on my car didn't even mention the type of oil they used on my car. Which also leads me to believe they did not change the oil. I am very sorry. I don't like leaving bad reviews in fear of retaliation. Now that I have cameras inside and outside of my house, I don't worry as much. Not that any member of your staff would resort to that behavior. Again, I am sorry to have to tell you this.

Although it took time to be able to get through to them on the phone, they are terribly busy and we totally understand, this mechanic shop was able to get our car, which had been an attempted theft, in and out in 2 weeks. We were being told that it could have been a few months by the dealership. This shop was amazing. They communicated as soon as they had info. They answered all our questions and concerns easily. The pickup was so easy, and they did it with a smile and good humor. We will be taking our car back should anything else come up. It's very hard to find a mechanic these days. We found ours.

Best customer service ever. They dealt with my insurance company giving them the runaround for multiple hours, did a great job on the car. Very efficient, straightforward in communication and pricing. 100/10 recommend forever!

Everybody told me this was THE place to go for Volvo repairs. I wish my experience was the same as most everybody else. I waited two weeks for an appointment, was told the bring the car in the day before so it would have a "cold start." I followed all directions, left the car for 2 days and when I came to check on it, work hadn't even begun. "We're very busy" is not an acceptable excuse.

This place is FANTASTIC. They have done body work on my VW after an accident and they were so communicative and timely. I had some other work done as well and it was seamless. Prices are SO MUCH BETTER than at the dealership.
