VW Jetta, routine services and several repairs were made. Excellent service and communication. Very reasonable wait time for the repairs needs. I really like the email process for recommendations and payment. Great first time experience and glad to finally have a shop I feel like I can trust!

I cannot recommend ImportMasters based on my recent experience with them. A friend of mine spent $1,600 on repairs and services that were unnecessary. Afterward, she took her vehicle to a dealership for a second opinion, where they quoted $800 for the needed repairs. However, the dealership had to undo and redo work that ImportMasters performed, which added another $600 to the total cost. When my friend requested more details about the recommended fixes from ImportMasters, she was told simply to read the recommendations. This lack of transparency and professionalism is concerning. Overall, my experience indicates that ImportMasters is not trustworthy, and I urge others to be cautious when considering their services.

I'm not a fan of Audi dealers and the team at Importmasters was able to help me avoid them entirely. I needed a newly installed steering module recalibrated which is typically a dealer only service but they were able to perform all the necessary steps to properly recalibrate my new module and get me on my way. I'll definitely go back!

Wonderful folks, and they made the diagnostic, work approval, communication and payment very simple. They did a great job getting my '95 Miata back up and running after a long hibernation! I will definitely be a repeat customer for my beloved Mazdas:)

Amy goes above and beyond!! I asked for a quote after getting incorrect information from another shop (recommending that I get a timing belt replacement when my car does not actually have a belt but a chain), and Amy kindly and humbly corrected that mistake and pushed me in the right direction! The shop is so communicative and clear -- I recommend them to anyone in KC, but especially those that have ever felt intimidated or misled by other shops!

Transparency through every part of the interaction, from availability to have the first inspection done, the detailed work orders and simple approval and payment process to pick up the vehicle. Have had 2 separate repairs done recently and very happy with the estimates of time to repair and cost. Thank you!

Scheduled my Audi for service , 3 weeks in advance, appt time was 8 am, arrived on time, The service was extremely slow , we didn’t receive our vehicle back until after 3 pm.

The clutch on my Jetta was replaced. Questioning the pricing. I was quoted $724.67 to replace the left head light and $1,652.45 to replace the water pump. The headlight assembly is a 100-200$ part that requires a dozen screws to remove the plastic bumper then the cord to be unplugged. Kelly Blue Book lists the fair price for a water pump replacement at 1000-1200$ and a clutch replacement at a dealership at 2000-2200$. The driver door started to make an audible popping noise after receiving it back. Was told they would see what was causing the door issue and doubt they tried too hard after getting a text that is was completed ~10 minutes after dropping it back off. Almost positive they opened the door and decided they didn't want to do anything. Next time I need repairs, I will borrow a car from my family to give myself the ability to get quotes from other shops for comparison as the signs indicate their pricing is high.

I’m super thankful I found this shop. I had called around different places to get my Audi fixed because it was having a coolant leak issue and most places would turn me down because they didn’t work on Audi. I found this place and they took me in. I got my Audi fixed ( they replaced two items in my coolant system) and I had my car ready in 2 days. Runs good now and leak is gone

My 2018 Audi was throwing a code for RPM/Coolant malfunction, called Importmasters and they did a diagnostic test on it. Found out it was my water pump, they replaced it and were so easy to communicate with. Larry sent a personal text after the service was completed to make sure my car was running good. Great experience, highly recommended!

The owner went ahead and replaced the drive belt, tensioner parts on my car minus the $300+ additional charge, as it came off during the test drive after replacing the water pump when the A/C was turned on. New Beetles--or at least my early 2000's model--have A/C-wiring issues that no one has been able to diagnose, other than Audi & Porsche have higher quality, more resilient wiring over the years than VW, an auto tech once told me, so I haven't used the A/C since. I really appreciate this, as more money went into my car today than it is worth! I dread car shopping, however, I imagine to the auto shops dismay, it's quickly becoming a necessary evil.

I had Larry message me to see about the work that was done on my Audi a8 & make sure everything was working correctly. IVE NEVR HAD any mechanic shop send a message to make sure the car is working as it should. I would 10/10 recommend them.!

Quotes for repair up to 700 dollars less than other shops, true car guys that enjoy what they do. Couldn't ask for better customer service and professionally performed work with a follow up text after the job was complete. Happy camper!

Our Volkswagen Jetta suddenly stopped working. It had also been shifting very rough. We had to have it towed to a dealership but Volkswagen in the Northland held on to it for 2 weeks without even a diag or any communication!! We called Import Masters and they got us right in. They diagnosed after a couple of days and had it repaired and back to us in a week. They communicated every step of the way which meant a lot to us since we were eager to have it back for our family. They are super honest. We had transmission issue but instead of replacing the whole transmission they said it was the seals. This saved us tons of money!! Thank you so much to our mechanic, she was so helpful!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone in KC!!!!

I am very much disappointed with their service. I went to them telling that my engine cam cover is out and gave the other cap to replace it. They kept the car for 2 days with them and told the same problem to me which i mentioned, told that they can’t do it and charged me for about 140$ which is all waste of my money and time. They said my car has no issues apart from that. So I took my car to other place and got exactly what the issue is. This place is not at all recommended and waste of your time and money Be careful

Larry and his team were fantastic, and took great care of my Golf R. They were super professional, didn’t try and talk me into extra things, and they made a list of recommended repairs with quotes for when I can get them done. They even got my car done earlier than expected! You can really tell that this team stands behind their work, and are truly passionate about what they do. Took my Subaru here for a misfire paid 140 for them to kill the rest of my clutch and for them to tell me in order to find the misfire I have to replace my clutch.

Just got our Jetta TDI back from Importmasters today. Gotta give these guys props – they're the go-to in town for fixing up European diesel cars. The car drives like a dream now, and they only did what really needed fixing. They gave us a list of things that could be done to make it even better. Even though I couldn't pick up the car right after it was fixed, the person in charge was cool about it. No pressure tactics like "pay up now or we'll auction your car," which is so common in other places. These folks are pros not just with cars but also in how they run their business. I'd totally take my Jetta back to them if I run into more issues, but fingers crossed it stays trouble-free for the next 100k miles. Big thanks to Importmasters!

Never again! For some reason they could not even put air in my tires after I asked them to in the dead of winter, and after having it ALL day. The service manager, Amy, insisted that they did put air in my tires, but when I told her that the light was still on and it always goes off once the tires are filled to specifications, the best she could do was to suggest that I come back FOR AIR. Again, after they had it ALL DAY??? Bye, Felicia.
