This it was the best Shop I went to in a long time. I trusted the mechanic they talked me through everything that showed me everything they gave me proof of everything that was really nice and polite. I would recommend if you want to go here they get my car in a timely matter. It was very nice.

I just picked up my truck from Interstate Auto Repair it might have been a bit more than I would have like, but could have been worse on a computer system that was fired in a 2007 Acura MDX. I think it was well worth it and they did an awesome job and Miss Kitty has now found her a home to make sure that she continues to purr. I appreciate the work you've done and grateful to have my truck back ☺️🦋

The staff goes above and beyond for their customers. They treated me like family by offering to drop me off at an area closer to where my friends were going to pick me up. They go the extra mile to make sure their customers are treated exceptionally. Plus the head mechanic really knows his stuff and will find the issues in a quick and efficient way. Just go to this shop, you won’t regret it!

Took my money without doing nothing to my car to tell me what I already knew about my car could have been upfront about if I don’t get this done they won’t work on it. They are unprofessional as well and charging too much for service I know can be cheaper I feel like they took advantage of me looking for some where close and convenient because i haven’t gotta stuck , I knew what was wrong with my car but it’s ok god got me and they will get theirs eventually getting over on people This the update to the reply: All lies u didn’t kick me out you act like you did the job then when I noticed my car still the same I ask what I paid for you said you diagnose the car I’m like I know what was wrong with my car I ask you to replace the serpentine belt you said the diagnose is with the work which you made it seem you doing work I told you what was wrong you said I don’t go by other mechanics but it’s all included like you was doing the work on my car and I got and had the money just would have like my car fix and for you to say a spark plug that just shows how good of a mechanic you are cause spark plug and serpentine belt is 2 different things I even know that at this point you just replying to make yourself sound good and I’m just a broke customer but that’s my fault I should’ve look at these reviews 💯 so I hope I help the next person cause these reviews sounds some what I went through so hope this helps someone don’t waste your time

Very very great quality services , they got me done in a very respected time frame they also spend a great amount of time with my extended warranty to get the funds so I wasn’t coming out of pocket. Abe knew I was stuck from out of town n Got me back safely. You can tell he knows what he’s doing and he has great passion & Love for what he does which explains why they are so busy. 10 out of 10 experience.

DON’T DO IT!... This auto shop is a scam!!! they will rip you off!!! It all started at 11:00a, 4/18/24. I went into Interstate auto repair shop to get my air conditioner service. I have Car Shield Insurance, I give them (Interstate Auto Repair) the info to talk to them (Car Shield) only to see if they would cover the cost for the repair of my air conditioner. At 4:43pm that same day I received a message from Car Shield making me aware that they approved close to $2900 for repairs to be done. None of the repairs included my air-condition. I didn’t approve Abe to do any of those repairs he trumped up, as well as my car didn’t need those repairs. In less than 6 hours, Abe, (the owner of the shop) forged my name, and Car shield paid out close to $2900 to him for work they never did. Me and my fiancé arrived at the shop at 10:30am the following morning. Abe wouldn’t even talk to us; the younger man did. I told him to tell Abe not to do any work on my car, and I wanted my car now. I was told that, I couldn’t have my car because it had been taking apart. I called the police; Abe produced a piece of paper with my forged signature on it giving him approval to do that work. That made it a civil matter. I have had the police to meet me at that shop at least 4 times to get my car, I also went to the police station, I was told, it’s a civil matter. I would have to take him to court. Here it is 11 days later, I just was able to get my car, not before paying a $500 deductible. Long story short, I had to take my car to another auto shop because my brakes have been tampered with. Also to make sure he hasn’t tampered with other parts of my car. Abe turned into a lying monster all for $2900. This has been a nightmare!

It was a terrible experience! I didn’t even want to rate it a star! Don’t come here unless you want to get ripped off! They are extremely pricey and they also have no respect for their customer !! I rate it a -5.

My major complaint is that they wouldn't provide a print out of what was wrong with my vehicle when I paid for it. I went in to get my vehicle inspected because I was hearing sounds when I go over a bump. Anyway, Interstate Auto repair said that they will give it a diagnostic test and let me know what the problem was. We'll the diagnostic test cost $160 and I was told that I needed break pad and a sway bar and something else. I paid for the diagnostic test and I asked for a print out of what was said to me(I'm not a mechanic) I was told that it was a visual inspection and they couldn't give a print out. I was very disappointed and come to find out that I didn't need brakes at all. This place is scamming people out they money.

Been going to these guys since they had there old location in oak lawn. Over 45 years of business. Best mechanics I’ve ever delt with
