I went for oil change and inspection and they charged me 125 $ for the cheapest oil change and they told me my brakes are broken and it costs 95$ to fix if I want to pass inspection so I said it’s ok I want to leave they told me I can’t because they drained my oil so I told them to Finnish and I’ll pay they said ok and they just did the oil change and when I asked for the registration sticker they said no we didn’t do the inspection and that I’ll have to pay another 40$ they are real scammers never use them unless you wanna be ripped off Also they didn’t actually change my oil that’s besides the point

All the five stars they got are probably the workers they have or friends because these are the worst mechanics in brooklyn they are scammers and money hungry

Hi trust me i have been a customer for a long time these mechanics are unlicenced unexpiarnced and they play with your car like a toy more like fix one thing mess up 3 things so you can always go back to them

Went in for an inspection. Asked me in order to pass I needed to change my break pads on my wife’s car that is barely used. Wouldn’t recommend. Check the other reviews for people who shared the same experience.

They are unprofessional. I come here for inspection they first tell me everything is good then say I fall the test. They ask me to change my totors and said I will pass the test if I change it. OK, so I spend almost 300 to change the totors which I only use for 6000 miles. The funny thing is they tell me I fall the test again because my battery died in yesterday. Funny you should check first then saia anything else. They ask me to drive for around and come back again for inspection without charge again. Nice guy just want to get you money. I will never come back again.

STAY AWAY! Crooks trying to rip you off. I just went there for state inspection (safety + emission). They told me my break pads were worn out and needed to be replaced to pass the inspecton. I said I don't have time today and went to another place to get a second opinion. The other place told me "there is nothing to worry about the breaks" and renewed my sticker. Don't go there!

Old school mechanics. They keep it honest and upfront with you. If you want your car fixed properly you need to go here. My family has used J & J for many years and I definitely recommend this mechanic.

This is the type of auto repair where you go for an inspection and they tell you it failed due to tire rotors being old and then showing me a failed report from someone elses which didn't even hand me the report, telling me if I didn't wanna fix my rotors, they'd still charge full price for failed inspection. Just another place to avoid

Went for car inspection there and after I paid $37 for inspection they show me a failed report because my tire rotors are too old. WTH? Then they tried to charge me for $200 for changing the rotors so they would pass my inspection report. This is just so ridiculous. Then I went to another auto shop and checked. The owner said my brakes and rotors are good enough to pass the inspection. AVOID THIS STORE BY ALL MEANS!!

Great service, straight forward and they dont play games like most mechanics. Great price and do t quickly. He even parked my car and brought it to me when it was done. Talk to George cuz that guy is the man. Very nice and knows what hes doing.
