The integrity and competence of the mechanics that completed the repairs to the sophisticated transmission on my vehicle were extraordinary, my vehicle performs as it did when I drove it off the lot brand new. Not even the dealer would touch it due to the level inexperience of their own mechanics. Thank you guys for accepting the challenge, the very fast service and all the outstanding work.

I had transmission replaced and mounts as well as motor mounts. I've found that the work most mechanics due goes smoothly,but it's always an issue when bringing the vehicle back for concerns or complications. Not with this place. Most would've said to leave the vehicle costing me a day at work. Juan grabbed a busy mechanic(who had no issue checking)he crawled under my tahoe saw and fixed the issue and they told me bye. No crazy charge or work lost. Honestly so far one of the best experiences I've had and my tahoe runs smoother then when I first got it. Thank you for such good service.

If I could give them a 0 I would I took my husband took his 2005 Toyota Tundra it was for 3 weeks and they did a horrible job messed up my transmission instead of fixing it, breaks were not put correctly screws were missing , spilled can paints that we had in the back that they new about it , they owner offer to fix the issues only if I could proof they did the damages well after showing proof he still said he didn't believe they were at fault but I took pictures Juan the owner offered to "fix " the problem but at this point I have no trust on this company, owner, and employees, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR vehicles Here ! Horrible experience ever in San Antonio texas .

Took my 01 Chevy Silverado in for transmission rebuild my truck was in their shop for 10 days that was okay I thought they did a good job so I brought another vehicle in for transmission rebuild also but I had to take my truck back for an issue only to have it in the shop for over a month and a half wall second car set for 3 weeks until it was finished I've just gotten a lot of runaround from this place literally will get told I'll be ready one day show up and being towed can you leave it another day

I took my car to be repaired although I didn't leave it it was more like a quote and what would be needed I felt they were trustworthy and honest. I just didn't have the money at the time. They were even willing to work with me but I didn't have much money at the time and I didn't want to become a bad customer if I couldn't pay later. But I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

My wife and I were about to take a loss on one of our cars due to transmission issues. The cost of repairs quoted at other shops was high. Not only did we get an unbeatable price from JV Transmission Services for repairs, but with the money we saved, I could take my other car in for repairs while staying under what I was quoted at other shops for repairs on one car! The owner is a great guy and showed me and my wife nothing but respect when we spoke on the phone and in person. This shop will now be our first choice whenever we need to take our vehicles in. WORST PLACE EVER AND JUAN VEGA IS A JOKE, THEY HAVE HAD MY DAUGHTERS CAR BACK AND FORTH SINCE JUNE AND STILL CAN'T FIX THE TRANSMISSION . WE HAD TO TAKE HIM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT BUT THIS GUY IS A GREAT LIAR!! PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE OR YOU MIGHT HAVE TO LEARN THE HARD WAY. I HOPE THIS CAN PREVENT SOMEONE FROM LOSS OF MONEY AND A BIG HEADACHE DEALING WITH JV TRANSMISSION....JUAN VEGA YOU AND I KNOW THE TRUTH AND THAT IS THAT YOU RIP OFF YOUR CUSTOMERS !!!!

I can not say enough about Alejandro and the guys at JV Transmisson. They were able to get me immediately with no prior notice, and even though the scope of work isn’t there usual day to day services, they found a way to get it done. They had work complete in a few days and were almost half the cost of the closest estimate. If that was the end of the experience it would have been amazing, but Alejandro was able to get me in contact with a few of his work connections to further aid me in getting my car back on the road. Thank you so much for being the beacon of light and making what has been a stressful situation very manageable.

I have a 1998 Chevy truck with a manual transmission that needed a clutch and rear-main seal replaced. They did the job in only two days and the results were impressive. It really drives like a new truck. The pricing was fair and reasonable as well. Professional operation, do recommend.

Spoke to Juan Vega..very professional. Found out it was my clutch not transmission. Turned my car in on friday was fixed by wednesday. My car is running great. If ur in a money pinch Juan will work with you on payment arrangements if needed. Overall great experience.

Went in with what I thought was a slipping transmission issue. They test drove it and told me that it was in fact my transmission slipping. Picked up my truck in 1 week. Soon as I jumped on the highway the same issue happened. Called them back and they said to bring it back. After I had paid to have my transmission rebuilt it ended up being 2 spark plugs went bad, the transmission was fine. What would have cost me less than $500 ended up costing me Over $6400 with my week's worth of a rental and rebuilt transmission. Even though they fixed the issue and didn't charge anything extra I would still be cautious. Nothing worse than having to fork out over $5400 when you didn't have to.

Imaging having the worst of problems. Transmission not shifting right which is caused by an electrical problem plus having a couple shorts to ground. Any shop would have you over the barrel snd could take you. BUT not JV Transmission. Wow the service and the great price. They are honest, fair and dependable. My Jeep got fixed quick. I was in a hurry do to an emergency that came up snd they pulled out everything they had and gave me the best service I’ve ever had. The price was so great and the quality of their work is like none other. They know a vehicle from front to the back, engines, transmissions, electrical and even basic brake jobs. They are amazing. It does not surprise me that the owner is an army veteran. Of course a veteran you can always count on. Your in the best hands when you rely on him.

They did some work on my 2009 chevy silverado's transmission back in January, the guys there were really good. They told me it would take about 2 weeks, a week later they called me and said it was done! It is now August and have not had any problems. I have referred 2 others and they have had good service from them as well.
