Great job on my Jeep. Upfront and honest. June 2024 Sept 2024 Brought my Jeep back because it was running rough and check engine came on. Although, it ran fine during the diagnostic they still went through the car and checked the previous work done. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my experience at Jack Dane Auto. I can fully trust them, I feel that they are honest mechanics and they accommodated all of my requests. They also have a Rocklin location but this one was able to see me the next day. Would absolutely go again for service.

Did a timing belt change with water pump and pulleys and oil pan reseal. Prices were ok as long as the Honda minivan continues to run for a good while. I do like to get as low of a price as possible but I am willing to pay a bit more if there is an assurance of quality, and so far, 2 months after the job, the minivan still runs fine. Edit: Minivan is still working as of 6/2/24 (timing belt job was done Feb 2021) so far so good! No noticeable oil leakage/consumption either, oil level seems to stay nearly constant between changes.

So I hate taking my car into the shop. I rarely do. I have a silver Honda S2000 and after making numerous tries to get the cruise control working on my car I gave up and took it in. Adam at the front desk was great and very friendly. I could tell from the beginning my car would be well taken care of. The mechanic who worked on my car also did an amazing job. Communication was great, the price was very affordable and most importantly my concerns were very well met and they even gave an extremely detailed courtesy inspection on top of it all. Like I said I do not take my car in often but my goodness this was a great place to go and if I run into anything I cannot fix on my S2000 in the future, Jack Dane is where I’m taking it. I own a discontinued sports car, and so my options of taking it to a dealership for service were limited. When I called Jack Dane (and spoke to Adam, who was great) to ask if they’ll perform the recommended factory scheduled maintenance, they accepted my vehicle with open arms. They performed their initial services (multi-point inspection, oil change) without a hitch, and I’m confident in saying I’ll return to Jack Dane for all other needs. Thank you!

Very helpful and efficient. After inheriting my father‘s El Dorado after his passing, it needed work. I found Jack Dan’s auto service and they got me in right away. Although it was a little expensive, it runs perfect. Update: After my initial post, I had to take my dad’s car which I inherited after his passing two months ago, back to the shop 4 times. Each time, there was a list of things I needed to fix. Over and over, it was this or that… until this last time I paid to have an oil change along with other things, that’s disaster happened. The last two times I brought in the car, the car had over heated. It was immediately towed to the shop where they felt it could be a blow head. I was called by Adam, who gave the “good news” that it wasn’t a head gasket but this list: • Replace Service Valves, Evacuate and Recharge AC System. • Preliminary Testing ABS System • Preliminary Testing HVAC Concerns Not to mention they did an oil change. So, we drove the car home after all the reps were done. We parked it in the driveway and didn’t drive it again. One week later, my husband goes out to the car to start the car so that the battery doesn’t go dead. As soon as he turns the key, the light to the engine comes on., So he goes to the front of the car and opens up the hood decides to check the oil, Bone dry! The oil was not even registering on the stick at all, It was completely dry. I immediately took it back on a flatbed to the Auto repair shop again Jack Dane. I was told that there was at least 2 quarts of oil in my car, but I was charged for eight according to the invoice. Not to mention, I drove it home with no oil. Once they got it there, They did an inspection on the car to find out what was going on because according to them, they had topped off the oil. They believe that the oil had leaked out. But I Should’ve had a big puddle of oil in my driveway were it was parked, WRONG!. I explained to Phil that I have video cameras outside of my home that recorded my father’s car being put on the flatbed Taken into their shop. He admitted to me that there was about 2 quarts of oil in my dad’s car, and that may be the mechanic had forgotten To top it off. Now their new diagnosis of my father’s vehicle is that I have a blown head. At first, Phil seem very apologetic and willing to work with me After I had already paid over $6000 in repairs at his shop. They quoted me an additional $6300 to fix my dad’s car at this point. How was it? My fault that they forgot to put oil In it. I was then informed that the guy that had been working on my dad’s car “Adam” Was in training and not even a mechanic. I thought I was working with a mechanic!. Phil, who says he’s the owner was “willing” To pay half the cost. But at this point, I feel that they are responsible for the work they should insure. And when they say they have something the obviously charged me for, they do. At this point, I feel that they knew I had A sentimental value to my father’s car, and that I would’ve paid anything to keep it running perfect. I was charged over $200 for an oil change that apparently was uncompleted or not even done. How can I trust them at this point?
