I got my Lexus GX460 serviced here and the crew is top notch. Very friendly, reasonable, and quick! Definitely beats taking the car to the Lexus dealers down here in Miami.

My trusting gf was nicely ripped off in this place. I warned her to get an estimate of the fixing cost, she never listens. They charged her 800 and she still doesn't have air conditioning. They say they fixed everything else ? so they could not look for a leak. BS people.

Several days ago I decided to go by Japanese Car Care for the first time after reading their great reviews. Reason being I hit a pot hole with my right front tire hard, afterwards I heard a low frequency noise coming out of it. I was greeted by Hugo and Carlos the owner with a smile and all ears as to my problem. Carlos came out and took my car on a test drive, diagnosed right front bearing but actually told me it would be no problem to drive the car like that the noise was really very low now but gradually will get louder. He was so honest that I said go ahead with repairs, my car was ready to roil that afternoon. I do recommend Japanese Car Care, it’s my new go to garage. Their attention and quality work stands out, along with fair pricing!

Took my 2018 Toyota Yaris iA to JapaneseCarCare. The car was misfiring and shutting off at times in the middle of traffic. They had the car several days and I picked up today and no more issues. They service Honda, Acura. Toyota, Lexus… basically, Japanese cars… the place is easy to find and is close to SW 40th (Bird Rd) and Palmetto. Before you spend a ton of cash… give them a try… my co-worker recommended this place. Honest people here. They want you as a customer!!! This is “Not” a place where they rip you off and then you never come back….

I recently took my car to Japanese Car Care, and I must say, the level of service was great. The staff is friendly, very approachable, and knowledgeable; no doubt, they go the extra mile to ensure that your car is well taken care of. Very honest and straight up family business. They guarantee their work. Hourly rate is listed on their wall and they use new OEM only parts. Use them for maintenance and repairs. Just give them a try.

I can't recommend Japanese Car Care enough! After being told by the Toyota dealership that I needed a bunch of repairs, including new brakes for both the front and rear, I decided to get a second opinion. That's when I took my car to Japanese Car Care and met Hugo and Carlos. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by their professionalism and honesty. They thoroughly inspected my vehicle and assured me that my brakes were in perfect condition and did not need to be replaced. It was such a relief to find an auto shop that doesn't just want to take advantage of you and rip you off. Hugo and Carlos were incredibly knowledgeable and transparent about what my car did and didn't need. Their integrity and commitment to providing honest service have made me a loyal customer. Rather than upselling unnecessary services, they provided an honest assessment of my car's condition and recommended only what was truly needed. I took my car in for service and had them do an alignment at the end of November of 2023, since I had just installed 4 new tires. When I picked up the car and drove home, I felt the car pulling to the right and called the shop back to let them know. I spoke to Hugo who said that the alignment was done properly and the pulling to the right is because I had "cheap tires", mind you the tires were brand new. He said all he can do was rotate the wheels. A little over three months now and my right rear tire is completely damaged from the car not being aligned properly. I definitely would not take my car or recommend this place to anyone else.

Took my car in 3 or so months ago, everything seemed alright A/C repair, key starter issue/clutch replacement. Now the car is giving starter issues. Also last month it rained really hard one day and there was a literal puddle on the drivers side floor, this was not an issue before the repair nor has anyone else worked on the car.

I highly recommend Japanese Auto Care for all your car repairs and maintenance needs. Carlos and his dad are amazing mechanics who provide fair and reliable service. Apparently Japanese Car Care doesn’t service Japanese cars lmao. I have a JDM and they refuse to even do an oil change on it. They were polite about it though hence the 3 stars but it’s just nonsensical.

I would rate them as a zero if they didn't do decent work.  Their mechanics seem great, but the 2 guys up front that run the place lack integrity and are horrible liars.  A friend and colleague recommended them to me and I took my car to them several times in the past year for a few different issues.  The last time I took my car there was for ac repairs.  The ac was repaired but when I picked up the car there was a 16 inch crack going across my windshield on the drivers side all the way to the middle of my windshield.  They had the nerve to tell me the crack was there when I dropped the car off.  Mind you this crack was right in my line of my vision to drive. I was spending $2500 to get ac fixed, plus the repairs being done to my car were being paid for by someone else as a gift, why would I not inquire about a cracked windshield at the same time if it was already there? They lied to my face repeatedly and kept telling me if I had full insurance that I could get the insurance to fix it for free.  They were correct about the insurance which is how I got it fixed, but they could have owned the fact that a crack on the windshield happened on their watch.  If it was there when I dropped off the car I'm sure they would have mentioned it and or photographed it.  They did neither and have no integrity.   They also left all the debris that was taken out during the ac repairs on the floor of my passenger side floor.  I had thought I had found the repair shop for my 3 older Japanese cars but can't trust them as they will lie to you right to your face about something that isn't even debatable.  Use them with extreme caution.

I’ve taken two of my cars to these guys recently. A 2015 Honda Civic and a 2014 Lexus CT200H. They are very communicative, straight shooters, and the turn around is quick. Both cars required replacement parts that typically creep up along with the miles. I love that they use OEM parts and don’t cut corners. They seem reasonably priced, but you get what you pay for right? I’d rather pay to get it right done once and move on with life

Japanese Car Care is a great place to take your car for repairs. Their staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about their business. I went in for a P0301 (cylinder 1 misfire) code on my 15 Odyssey, and Carlos took the time to explain everything that could be causing that issue and the possible repairs that needed to be made. It ended up being a faulty spark plug that is very common on various models with ECO systems. I also requested for them to change the timing belt, water pump, and the other belts associated with the process. They were very communicative throughout the entire repair and even noticed an engine mount that was in need of replacing. I have absolutely no complaints about the pricing. It's worth the value, and knowing that they only use OEM parts on your vehicle makes it even better. You could find a cheaper place, but you are taking a chance to be the newest Temu victim. If you own a Japanese vehicle, dont take chances and go straight to JCC. You won't regret it.

Very good service, straight shooter mechanic shop (very rare in this line of service). Don’t think it necessarily cheap but definitively is VERY GOOD VALUE. They do not schedule appointments ahead, so if possible arrive early so they are not busy and you get your service e going. Definitively recommend.

Wanted to leave a Zero star. This shop is dishonest. Any repair is overpriced and if you take it for a diagnostic and don't repair your car they will damage something else. 🤔 Carlos is terrible. We thought we could trust you and you failed several times. Sell the shop to honest people. People in Miami are tired of crooks.
