They had great customer service. I brought in my car for a powertrain issue and they were able to diagnose the issue and advise me to take it to the dealership since it was still under warranty. They are only appointment only shop but they were willing to work me in their busy schedule. They were upfront with the issues that they found. I know that I will be back to this place in the future.

I can't recommend Japanese Service Center highly enough. I recently had my 2006 Toyota Highlander hybrid towed there from Monterey, CA after it broke down. I recently took my car in after seeing the dreaded check engine light. As a first time customer, I was very happy with the service I received from all staff onsite. Dave in particular was very knowledgeable about my vehicle, as well as the issue I was having. He took the time to explain the problem to me, and offered several ways for avoiding future issues. The repairs were completed quickly, and my car was ready to go the same day! I was very impressed with the work Dave and crew did, and I would definitely recommend his shop to anyone looking for an honest and reliable mechanic.

Lost a star because they could be considered a little expensive with $150 an hour rates and appointments that are usually 3 weeks out or more. But have had zero issues with their work and have brought my 99 accord in many times.

Wasn’t there for too long but Gordon and Craig were very friendly and helpful. We had a loose belt that needed to be tightened. Luckily Gordon was kind enough to tighten it in a few minutes, no charge. Highly recommend their service.

I've been taking my cars here for years. Craig and Neil are great - friendly, helpful, expert. They consistently advise and execute what is best for me, my car, and my budget. I never feel like they put their business or revenue above what is right and what is needed. Heads up: sometimes it's a decent wait between when you call and when you can get an appointment. Which is just a testament to their popularity and loyal customer base.
