I bought a 1980 400 ford motor for my 1 ton dump truck. They were easy to deal with and I had no communication problems. Got my motor in at the end of the month. I put it in and it is running great.

I know the engines are good. I was trying to find the replacement engine for my wife's car only to get frustrated to the point of going elsewhere. Too bad a 40-year ASE mechanic can't just buy one of these to put in at home at his personal leisure. Their loss

Absolute garbage. Going on our 4th transmission in under a year. Not one lasted longer than 15,000 miles ( the last one lasted less than 300). All were professionally installed in my 2017 Dodge Ram 3500. Don't waste your time or money. Most of the issues in the transmissions came down to craftsmanship problems, like loose valve body bolts. Could not be more disappointed.

Absolute joke and junk !! Bought a 6,0 power stroke long block 7 months in head gaskets went bad on a studded engine!! Replaced head gaskets 9 months later the crankshaft broke. Jasper sent another engine . New engine didn’t make it 3 months. Call jasper they tell me sorry for your luck your warranty is up !!! What a piece of trash place DO NOT BUY !!!!!!

I run an AAMCO transmission shop. We use Jasper almost every day. I’ve never had any problems with any of the units I’ve purchased. A few months back I did have a car towed in that had a jasper unit in it. It turned out the transmission cooler lines had rusted out and the transmission ran dry. Jasper still covered the transmission and the labor to replace it. Their warranty process could not be any smoother. The only time I don’t use Jasper is if I need a transmission that Jasper does not make.

I own Oakmont Automotive in Pennsylvania. I have used Jasper engines on an as needed basis for the last 24 years. I have never been disappointed. I was fortunate enough to take a tour of their facility and in 11-2018. I can’t say enough about the craftsmanship and care that the employees show and there are a lot of employees! Probably around 3000. We toured 4 buildings, we were showed how each step of the way how every old part is cleaned, tested and inspected and some parts are just discarded because they have redesigned parts that are better. I was most impressed at 4 parts of the tour. 1) they buy old vehicles that are popular with a variety of miles on them. They take the drive train apart and look for common failures so the Jasper makes new parts that are better than how they were originally designed. 2) they had 1lab that look at newer engines and transmissions and study them and make improvements. They were 2 gasoline engines and a transmission. There had a dyno room to test engines. 3) they had another lab that got into making parts like pistons, cylinder walls, turbos etc. it was very informative. 4) they test new parts in a assembled engines and run it for 50 hours straight to make sure it will not fail! Before they put it into production. They build about 200 engines and transmissions each day! I can’t list everything. For the company to take the time to show 10 of us that day how they operate from start to finish and then some was awesome. Quality and customer service stood out, things you don’t see like you used to. I will not choose any other brand of product for my customer. Chuck Shumaker owner of Oakmont Automotive.
