New years morning the transmission in our F-150 started acting really funky. A friend recommended I head over to Jay Egge and ask for Simeun so i reached out explained what was going on with the pickup and that I had an Extended warranty on the pickup and didn’t know if this might be something that was covered or not. Simeun completely took over the entire process from there! I brought the truck in he test drove it and felt the issues we were experiencing. I left it with him and within 24 hours the problem was diagnosed and the warranty company reached out too for approval to get the repairs completed. It needed a full rebuild and this team knocked it out in less than 4 business days!!! We cannot express our gratitude enough for the whole crew at Jay Egge for getting this in and out and my family back on the road!

I was heading up to South Dakota for a Veteran Pheasant hunt and my transmission failed in my Silverado. Jay Egge was recommended so was able to trailer the truck there and they confirmed it was done. Jay Egge accommodated me by having a fast turnaround and maintained contact as the process was completed. They were willing to even trailer my truck part way to lessen the inconvenience. They even recognized me as a Veteran and gave me a discount on my repair bill. If you ever need service you can trust this shop to be trustworthy and will continue to provide exceptional customer service and do their best to accommodate your circumstance. I brought my transmission here to get rebuilt and had nothing but excellent service the whole time with every one I've talked to, and being a female going to a shop that means alot. They certainly went above and beyond to help me out. I would highly recommend!!!

Anything I type will not give enough thanks and love to this amazing company, employees and owner. While driving 5 days (27hrs) from Alabama to North Dakota with my son to his first duty station at Minot AFB, ND his fifth gear went out passing through Sioux Falls, SD. We were stranding with no options other than to rent a U-Haul and leave the truck to be worked on. Lee not only assured me they would do everything they could he reassured this mommas heart that they would make sure my kiddos truck would get back to him (7.5hrs away). They were slammed (because they are obviously that amazing to everyone). But managed to get his truck in and fixed it within two weeks. It was at this point Joe (the owner) who I didn’t know was the owner took it upon himself and his personal time to make arrangements with my son to get him back his truck. They treated us like family and their pricing was more than fair. Joe, We cannot express enough how eternally grateful we are for you and your amazing employees!

I brought my 89 BMW to them with a project that nobody else wanted to touch. The car is an 89, the engine is a 96 and I wanted to swap in a transmission from a 2002. Joe agreed to take a look, which was way more than anyone else offered. Well, I’m happy to say that my car now has a 6 speed and I couldn’t be happier with the work they did. Great communication and excellent work. The whole group at Jay Egge are good people and honest. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and send friends and family there.

Great people, fair prices, and if you didn't make a friend by the time you leave its your fault. These guys handled the issue with my ram 3500 and was honest and fair about everything I had going on with it.

The best shop in the area for transmission or drivetrain work to be done. Lee is phenomenal to work with. They are so helpful and knowledgeable, and they schedule things accurately and complete work accordingly without delay! I will always take my vehicles here. More shops need to be like Jay Egge's!!

I cannot recommend Jay Egge enough!! They were amazing!! Very honest and made sure it was done right the first time. They ended up keeping it an extra week as they were finding things during the fix that werent going as planned and they werent going to give it back to us until it was fixed correctly. Were we extremely satisfied with the service they provided as they didn't treat me, being a woman, as if I didn't know anything!! Pricing was extremely reaaonable too!!! If you need your transmission done!! Go to Jay Egge!!!

Hello good day all I lost my mother in 2020 and ended up with her little 2000 Ford Taurus first and only car I ever put in a shop because my mother said take care of it Debbie so I promised I would buy when problems happen that I couldn't take care of Jay egge auto took care of it didn't think I'd be driving it again due to the transmission going out 100 % on me they fixed it even told me they could fix it before It got there and they did a new transmission and I can't tell anything I highly recommend Jay egges for your transmission work and was greeted with a bright smile and good laughs they are just wonderful people and family business thank you Jay egges you are awesome 😎👍👍 2 thumbs up 5 stars ps they have good coffee ☕

I had my Juke in for service. There was honestly a delay with the servicing of the vehicle/they confirmed they were short staffed due to everyone taking summer vacations. It is what it is there. They confirmed the transmission was bad so $4900 later and I have a good one. I quoted with three different companies before going with them as I am price driven. They took good care of me. They also serviced my Subaru after this and made it really quick for me and only charged for the fluids since I had dropped so much on the other transmission work. I plan to use them for all of my Transmission needs in the future. Good people!

Our RV was making an odd noise and we feared something was wrong with the transmission so we stopped in on our way from Washington DC to Mount Rushmore. They took it for a test drive and determined the noise was not transmission related. Back at the shop there opened there good and determined it was not anything serious. Took about an hour with our RV and yet charged us nothing. Highly recommended. (Later, after the nose got worse, it turned out to be a noisy/failing ERG valve.)

They fixed my car for a fair price and even drove me to work cause I am new to the area and Lee even test drove my car before hand with me to see what was going on I have a cvt transmission and this is the only place that is WILLING to fix my car

They treated me good it was a daily vehicle and they got the new transmission installed in a week and I was very appreciative of that so hopefully I never have to go back there but if I had a problem I would definitely go back there
