I've been looking for a great auto repair shop in El Paso and found it. My main issues that were taken care of were alternator replacement, leaking steering fluid, and a sliding passenger door that wouldn't open. 2010 Oddessy Van. Rick at the Alameda location kept me updated on quotes, timelines, and repairs completed by certified master mechanics. Fair price and great communication.

I was having problems with my Honda pilot AC not cooling and took it to El Paso Honda twice first time was a "HOSE" then my "COMPRESSOR" was bad. Then the guy tells me compressor is backorder.. So I then call JAYS AUTOMOTIVE and spoke to Rick told him what's going on. RICK tells me bring it in and let us see what might be the problem. Well guess what not the "compressor"just that El Paso Honda did fill the Freon properly. it was low about 5oz,and now that Jay's automotive fix,filled and inspected,everything is working 💪 strong and cold!!!! Will recommend to everyone 👍 👌

I highly recommend Jay’s Automotive-Alameda. I recently completed a drive from North Carolina to El Paso when I noticed the uneven growl of a wheel bearing that was on its way to failure. I found Jay’s Automotive-Alameda on Google and stopped by late on Wednesday to check it out and made an appointment for Friday morning after talking with Rick and Johnny. They are great guys, very friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I dropped my 2011 Ford Ranger off at about 8:30am. A diagnostic test was completed by the technician and the results were documented on their website. A link was sent via text message to my phone, which was convenient. It covered 37 points inside and outside of my truck and included pictures of specific items checked. As I suspected, the inner and outer front left wheel bearings on my 2011 Ford Ranger needed replacement. At about 12:00, I received a text that my truck was ready. The total was $332 which is a fair price considering the alternative of more than $2k to replace an entire lower control arm, spindle, bearings, brake caliper, brake rotor, and the other bits, which happened when my right front wheel bearings failed in January in NC. I was lucky though, it can be worse if your wheel separates from your car due to bearing failure. I was also given a voucher for a free oil change since mine was still good. Overall, I was very pleased with the results. The truck is driving much better and I will be returning to Jay’s Automotive-Alameda for all of my auto maintenance while I am in El Paso.

I was referred to Jay's Automotive for my vehicle. I would highly recommend anyone to this establishment for main reason, they will provide you with a very detailed report of service needed and they Do Not push you in getting all services at once.

This place will Rip you off took my truck for transmission work he called and told me I needed a transmission for 5000 dollars this guy didn't even look at what it was it was a sensor 150 Dollar part and this guy good at what he does he will Rip you off Don't take your vehicle here

After having paid twice to two different mechanics, our vehicle's AC continued not working. My husband read Jay's reviews and we decided to take a chance on him. We left our vehicle to get diagnosed. He told us it had the wrong compressor and was missing parts. He quoted us, did the work, guaranteed it for 3 years and happy to report that our AC is working very well. Jay's is trustworthy, reliable, and we highly recommend him. He is our go to mechanic from now on. Thank you, Jay's Automotive!

Driving from Florida, our car developed a “thud” sound from the rear as we drove. Searched for a repair shop in the area that had good customer ratings and was impressed by Jay’s Automotive reviews. Went to the Alameda location, met with Rick who did a quick diagnosis of the issue and immediately identified rear shocks as the problem. Asked me to bring the car back in the morning and that it would take about 2 hours to repair. Not only was the repair completed in less than two hours for a reasonable price, they also gave me a FREE oil change! I would highly recommend Jay’s Automotive for your ALL your repair needs!
