I believe Jay has been there for decades. Anyway he saved us a bit of headache by catching a blown impeller blade on a turbo we brought. It was initially attached to the exhaust manifold but needed to be separated in order for him to set up his lathe. After removal it revealed the blown impeller which he caught and immediately stopped the work, as further wo6ld now be unnecessary. Thank you Jay

I took my 2002 Subaru heads in for machining during a DIY head gasket job and Jay was awesome. He was very friendly and patient with my questions. Expect the shop to look cluttered (he took my info on the back of an old envelope). Also expect exceptional expertise, pride of workmanship, and a great value.

Worst machine shop even i work with in last 40 years of my mechanic job I bought a xt225 cylinder and piston from ebay and gave him same day i got it He told me next 3 days 80$ After 10 days he called me hey! I bored buy this is Aluminium!!! What??? He bored a nicasil cylinder!! Again i bought slave ,.. he told me next 2 datys.. it tooks 10 days again!!! He charged me 100$ with out any excuses of the mistake bore!!

If you have a really unusual automotive machining request (I needed frozen studs removed from a marine diesel manifold, helicoils installed, and new studs), this is the place to go. Nobody else takes on the tough challenges, nor do they provide such entertaining anecdotes of a life spent working on every manner of engine. A real find!

Phoned Jay with some questions about machining larger bevels on LS7 titanium connecting rods. Jay took the time and patience to explain to me, that expensive machining could be avoided! I truly Appreciate Jay....for NOT selling me on a job that was not necessary!!! That's an Honorable Man and Quintessential customer service!!!!
