I wait 35 minutes just to be seen. They say they can change my wind shield wipers and that I have 2 options. I go with the more affordable option and then they say I can only do the more expensive option. I decide not to go with the service. They say that I'm free to go and that my keys are in the car. I look but cannot find it. They say they can negotiate a discount since I'm here and I tell them that I no longer trust their service and he hands me my keys. I leave to go down the street to valvoline which have better prices and they tell me that my hood of my car is open. Overall a bad experience at jiffy lube and I will not be coming back

The sticker said come back in 4000 miles but Valvoline says 5000. My skid plate started falling off afterwards; they fixed it for free, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Another location has $39.99 managers special oil change, but you have to sign a contract saying they're not liable if something happens to your car. Just. Go. To. Valvoline.

🚨⚠️🚨 SCAM ALERT!!! As of Dec. 17 2024, I went to this location for an oil change, and to replace the spark plugs. I spoke with the manager (Johnny) at first. I was told my spark plugs were "special" and it'd be safer to go with the original parts. I got charged $499.84 for 4 spark plugs, for a 2010 MINI COOPER!! (without the labor). When it was time to pay, the manager was no longer on site. I was helped by Ernesto whom couldn't clearly justify why I was charged $124.96 (before taxes) for ONE spark plug... After doing some research, I quickly realized I got scammed. So I decided to go back, about 1h after the work was done, in order to check if I got overcharged by mistake. The manager himself told me over the phone they got the spark plugs from O'Reilly (retail price around $42 for one spark plug, at the most). Johnny & Ernesto, both refused to tell me what type of spark plug they had put in the engine. They also refused to give me a detailed receipt, showing clearly the brand, serial #, and the actual price for the spark plugs. I wish I could put ZERO star for this review. Unfortunately, it is not possible on Google Maps (why?!). As I was wasting my time to get a refund for the money that was clearly stolen from me, I witnessed another lady customer complaining to the same employee (Ernesto) for a similar issue! 🚫🖐🏻🚨 Please STAY AWAY from this fraudulent business, or proceed at your OWN RISKS. You've been WARNED ⚠️

The Jiffy Lube in Silverlake is great. quick, knowledgable, and genuinely nice. Ive been multiple times as they are in my neighborhood and the experience has been consistent. grateful for Juan's help today

What a rip-off joint. (4020 W Sunset Blvd). l specifically asked ahead of time if they were going to fill up the windshield wiper fluid, which IS supposed to be part of the signature oil change service -- but afterwards i checked and they had not filled it up (even though it was marked as taken care of on my receipt.) When l went back and asked them to fill it up, the guy came out and poured water in instead of actual windshield wiper fluid. They claimed their "machine was broken." IF that's true, which i do not believe, that's something that should be taken care of in their shop regularly--complete lies and lack of integrity. They also did NOT take off the $20 coupon l gave them (l noticed after l got home.) Not all Jiffy Lube's are this bad, but this place is a joke. I went there because i was in a hurry but will never again. I WONDER WHAT ELSE THEY DID OR DID NOT DO THAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO. Who knows if I even got new oil?? DO NOT GO THERE.

I am grateful that I decided to visit Jiffy Lube on Sunset. Johnny and Ernie were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and they even offered me a cold drink and a seat inside with the air conditioning on. They went the extra mile by providing me with a discount. I will definitely be a regular customer for my oil changes, brakes, and more.

I showed up less than an hour to close but they helped me immediately, fixed my (pretty minor) issue, and had me out of there in under ten minutes and free of charge. It was great and I’m so appreciative of them!

Ok these guys are the real deal, rockstars, all that. Wanted to change out my old bulbs for some after-market bulbs, went to another competitor, rhymes with “step toys” and was quoted $140. Johnny here at Jiffy did it with panache, aplomb, verve, all for the cost of a good word. Come here for your oil change and other auto needs. They’re almost never busy.
