I work in one of those industries like mechanics where customer trust has been tainted by the bad actors in the industry. I expected a little upsell - it wouldn't be a well functioning business without one. I found it odd that both me and the other person waiting both needed brake fluid replacement. $120 turned into $320 real quick. I'm not saying they did anything sketchy but it didn't feel right. I tell my guys that customers need to see value. I didn't see the value. They had 5 people standing around while they told me it would be 15 more minutes multiple times. Just got a bad vibe from the whole experience. My advice - find a local independent mechanic instead of going to a franchise.

Took my vehicle for maintenance, the Jiffy Lube team did a great job and overall did a fantastic job. Beverly Gomez helped me out and was great with all the information and very informative explaining what was needed and recommendations she and the technician Julio said what my car needed. Julio did a great job also and the entire staff were pleasant and welcoming and helpful. First time coming to Jiffy Lube and will keep coming to this location.

Ask for all pricing BEFORE you let them do any work. They will always charge you $125 for a basic oil change if you don’t say anything.

Bad service. Left my car there for an oil service, and they called me to exchange some piece of my car. After I declined the change, they put some glue to the oil piece, making it hard to open again. Very unethical.

It was my 3rd time using Jiffy Serves, but this time, for the first time, I used Groupon. The employee did not know which service was included in it, so although I told them I had the coupon, they performed their routine checks. So I then went through what they had done. I mentioned there was a vacuum and window cleaning, and they kindly agreed, but they mentioned their vacuum was not working! And the whole service takes 3 hours! It was just an oil change ( plus a filter change which they recommended and I agree with) ! 3h!!

Dropped by there this morning to get an oil change and had a great experience. Met Beverly and the Jiffy lube team on West Pico blvd in Los Angeles. They did an excellent job on my car and I was very happy with their work. They were all very respecfull, professional and friendly. And I couldn't have asked for a better team to work on my car. Thank you so much Beverly 👋🏽 🙂 you were so informative, knowledgeable and just an all around great person that I had the chance to meet today. The service was excellent and top notch 👌🏾 👏🏾 5 star rating for sure.

The workers are great! They're very polite and quick to get the job done right. My biggest issue with these guys is how much they try to up-sale. Don't buy their oil that's suppose to last 5000 miles. It doesn't and they wont "top you off" as they say they would at the 3000 mile mark because and I quote, "Your dash has to indicate that the oil life is negative for us to top you off." Mind you, my change oil light came on at 2997 miles and I came in at 3005 miles. Got denied the top off and when my car indicated that the oil was completely depleted I came in at 3500 miles and had to pay for a new oil change. Felt like such a scam!

This is the only location I go to now. The team has only offered me things I needed and didn't pressure if I wanted to wait. I used them for other services beyond oil changes. I literally live 2 mins from the Melrose location, but I always felt hustled and the service wasn't as comfortable as this location.

They have this weird scam tactic where they pretend to quickly show you a photo of something with your car that is in “bad shape.” They’ll also tag team on a fluid level thing where one person will say levels are good but the other will say no this is there’s right here and “your levels are bad.” What’s worst, cabin and engine air filter (which you can buy just a block away at auto zone both for less than $30 total and replace yourself: YouTube) cost $100 here. Photo proof. This was Beverly btw. Avoid this place and never leave your car unattended. Watch them. They are scammers.

The tech who helped with my oil change inflated my tires to 45 psi, 13 psi above the manufacturer-recommended tire pressure, while on the service report that was provided to me after the oil change, my tire pressure was reported as having been increased only to 35psi. Dangerous. Otherwise, the service was fine, although the tech who serviced my vehicle was brusk.
