It was an excellent experience for me at this Jiffy Lube location. Danyall was very helpful, and accommodating, throughout the process. I’ve been to this location twice, and both times Danyall had my car in and out.

I needed an oil change and inspection. Nikita and the whole team were very kind and professional. They made the process smooth and efficient, explaining everything clearly and ensuring I was comfortable throughout. The service was quick, and the quality of work was excellent. I had an interview in the area, and traveling down City Ave decided to get an oil change. When they finished the oil change the staff did not secure the underbody shield to the undercarriage portion of my car. That is where they install the oil filter. When I called the manager, and let him know I am not from West Philly and I cannot come all the way there he directed me to the JL in the northeast on Cottman Ave. When I went there, they were disappointed at what I asked them for and rightfully so. Having to pick up for someone's slack because they are not efficient at another location is unacceptable. Moreover, the day that I get the oil change and sit back in my car, the seat was leaned all the way back like someone was chillin' in it. I know that lean, because I used to ride around like that in the early 2000's driving to South Street. I am in my 40's with a 9-5 and kids. I don't ride around like that anymore. Furthermore, the person that gave me my keys back has a balaclava (Poo Shiesty mask) on. The masks that all the young shooters are wearing around Philadelphia. These are all added nuances that have contributed to my horrible experience. I am inclined to extend grace and leeway to young staff and want to circulate my money into businesses that hire young black people, but this experience was too hood. I have a made up mind to never engage this place again God willing. If you continue to drive up the road on City Ave. there is another one to go to that looks far more efficient. A $107 incomplete synthetic oil change is unacceptable, and now I have to ask my neighborhood mechanic in the northeast to take a look at it and fix it. The intent of me paying someone is so I do not have to do any work. I have already reached out to corporate from the website, and they informed me that they are a privately owned franchise and someone will get back to me. After two weeks I have heard nothing.

Horrible went here to get a oil change and they put too much oil causing my car to blow smoke out the tailpipe and damaging my engine where I had to junk my car smh

This is the worst Jiffy Lube I have ever ever been in in my life. The people are very unprofessional the smoking weed on the side cigarettes they’re swearing they’re playing music. They eating on the floor they eating in my car they have stolen from me and my oil was low within three hours The worst Jiffy Lube I believe in the world I hope nobody ever goes there because they probably will end up messing up your vehicle if they haven’t already.

Came here for an inspection for my car and the manager Danyall was amazing!! So helpful and kind and just great all around. Everyone had a great personality and super helpful! Great experience! Will definitely come back here in the future!!

I got a quote online for this location for a state inspection. They have a big sign out front that says state inspection station. I came in and asked for them to do a state inspection. They told me I would have to go to 1600 Cottman Avenue location over 30 minutes away. Why does it say they do state inspections if they don't?

My worst service experience ever. I would not recommend this location. How can you change the oil and not the filter. My car's computer system displays my oil life. After the change it will show 100%. Still showing low oil life.

8/21/24 Sooo unprofessional! I get there before 8am to have my oil topped off . Took over 45mins. Tech spilled oil on engine. Tried to hustle me with a $10. Antifreeze top off that wasn't needed. I believe they overfilled the oil in the engine. I hope not. 2nd bad experience with this JiffyLube on the 5500 block of City Ave. Never again. Oh yeah, It was five techs in the shop with only 3 cars to service and they took over 45mins. To screw up topping off my oil between oul changes. Soooo SAD! 5500 CITY AVENUE!!!!

I typically drive 25/30 minutes to this Jiffy Lube because I used to really love the fast, reliable, and friendly service compared to other shops closer to me; however, my last visit was so frustrating, I'm not sure I can recommend it or will be coming back. I came in for a standard oil change and tire rotation which all went well. Then when I got home many hours later, I noticed that my hubcap was gone and one of the lug nuts was different than the others on the tire that was missing said hubcap. I called and asked if they had it to which they said yes and that they were going to try a get a hold of me but they didn't have a good number (they have all of my information, didn't once receive a call) and then never addressed the lug nut when I asked, just that I could come in. Again, I'm almost a 30 minute drive and they were closing in 20 minutes on a Friday before Labor Day weekend so I told them I wouldn't be in until next week. Fast forward to the following Tuesday, I call to make sure they still had it and to explain the situation. The person on the other end doesn't say a word for 5-7 minutes (I figured they were looking for the hubcap) to which I hang up and call back and say they have it right next to them. I drive there and one of the workers is standing outside with earpods in, talking on the phone and making direct eye contact with me as I'm waiting for her to point to a bay for me to pull into. Only when I start driving closer does she have me roll my window down to talk, I explain my situation again, she calls someone over, and then proceeds to talk on her phone. I get the hubcap put on but the guy that did it doesn't do anything and just gives me a thumbs up and immediately leaves, and then I drive off. As for the lug nut, I later deduced that they either stripped or lost it and used the extra lug nut that came with the car but never told me. I never once got an apology through this whole thing. I took an extra hour out of my work day to go back and get my hubcap, something that they should've just done in the first place. While this all seems small and trivial, if they can't do something as basic as putting my car back together, how can I trust they can do anything else for me? Really disappointed and annoyed. I won't be going back.

Would never return here, lady came out and said it’s a 45 minute wait or go to the Ridge ave location. I’ll said I’ll look around, mind you I figured I was in line in the middle lane which had one car getting worked on. 20 minutes pass and she comes out and says “so are you getting it done, because everybody got in front of you” I look to the left lane and theirs 5 cars piled up, she never said the lane I was in was not in line when I arrived. So rude, the second she walked up to my car you could tell my existence annoyed her. I live 5 minutes from here. I’m glad I avoided this place as long as I did
