If I could give a zero rating I would. I asked for a basic oil change. The only options they gave me were platinum and gold. They did not say any prices what so ever. I reiterated I wanted the basic, cheap oil. They tried to get me to go platinum and I said that doesn’t sound basic so gold I guess. It ended up being $100 dollars when a basic oil change should be about $50. MASSIVELY taking advantage of people. And around the holidays when people don’t have that money to lose. When I brought it up, they dismissed me and lied to me and said they told me the prices when they did not. Do not go here. I did not have an extra 50 bucks to spend when I needed that for gas for leaving town for Thanksgiving. Absolute jerks.

I went in to Jiffy Lube on San Perdro and even though they were busy, I was in and out within less than 30 min. Which was thoroughly impressive to me.

They failed me for windshield wipers, after I showed the staff they were within the 6 months life span they decided to wave their hand in my face and fail me for tire instead overall, DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION

Guy said his emission tester was at lunch, take a half hr or so showed me where to park. Waited in my car and no one ever "returned from lunch", I was in clear view of the shop. No one waived me forward, and another car came in to drive right on up and get serviced... I drove off...

They had free cold mini water bottles in the lobby while we waited less than 15 for our state inspection. Both employees were respectful and quick.

They need to fire the inspection guy. I usually go for inspection, everytime guys just get worse. Looks like he doesn't want to do his job. I show up and looks at my rotors and says something wrong with them he cant pass them. I told they i had recently had them cut and he decided i was lying. I really don't understand what was the point of lying. He had an attitude so i just took my business somewhere else. I had it passed without an issue somewhere else. This dude just puts this business down. He lacks motivation and energy. He has an attitude and fails people for invalid reasons. I will not be returning to that place, not even for oil changes.

I was going to leave 3 stars at first since my oil was changed like I had asked, but I decided to leave 1 after getting home and seeing everything that was left untouched by the staff. Pros: My oil was changed. That’s about it. There was air added to my tires but tires were overfilled past tire and manufacturer specs. Cons: All other services included with oil changed were not completed. Wiper fluid left bone dry, coolant left untouched, windows interior left untouched, etc. Finally, I was very disappointed with the lack of candor and shady sales techniques. I was told, “I did you a favor and added some fuel cleaner to your tank” by the mechanic (something I didn’t ask for). I was appreciative, that is until I saw my bill and realized I was charged for said “favor”. Do yourself a “favor” and go to any other Jiffy Lube in town.

I went for inspection a few months ago and waited about 40 minutes, they then handed me a form that said I passed and said don't worry about it sorry for the wait. Mind you it had the wrong Insurance information on there but still the vehicle passed. Now my wife goes to do an inspection there with the same vehicle in the same condition and waits almost the same amount of time, and the "inspector" refused to do the inspection because the bumper is missing. It was missing last time and there was no issue? On top of that the bumper has nothing to do with the inspection. The "inspector" didn't even fail the vehicle on the inspection because he knew he didn't have a valid reason, just didn't want to work but You can check the DPS website to confirm what is included on the inspection but just to make it easier. 1. Horn 2. Windshield Wipers 3. Mirror 4. Steering 5. Seat Belts 6. Brakes (system) (Parking - beginning with 1960 models) 7. Tires 8. Wheel Assembly 9. Exhaust System 10. Exhaust Emission System (beginning with 1968 models) 11. Beam Indicator (beginning with 1948 models) 12. Tail Lamps (2); (1) if 1959 model or earlier 13. Stop Lamps (2); (1) if 1959 model or earlier 14. License Plate Lamp (1) 15. Rear Red Reflectors (2) 16. Turn Signal Lamps (beginning with 1960 models) 17. Head Lamps (2) 18. Motor, Serial, or Vehicle Identification Number 19. Gas caps on vehicles 2-24 model years old 20. Window Tint. 21.License Plates (2) Hopefully he sees this and learns what to look for.

Ok, I've been going to this specific JL for approximately 10 years or more. I've ALWAYS had great service and friendly, courteous assistance. But today was an off day. Everyone has them, however listening skills were the worst and one guy tried to tell me that I wanted something I didn't. In addition to these behaviors, their disheveled appearance left a lot to be desired. These were not the same men that provided services in the past. In fact, I unfortunately moved out of the area but have tried to return whenever I knew I would be here. No, I don't think I'll be returning or recommending this JL to anyone. This review gets 0 stars.

Warning to all customers- if you go to Jiffy Lube for your inspection- they will put a HOLD on your vehicle so that you cannot go ANYWHERE else!!! This shouldn’t happen- a business should not control where you do business!! If i could give a negative rating they deserve it.
