I just tried to get my oil changed. I was told to go into the lobby and somebody would help me. After a couple of minutes an employee asked how he could help. I let him know I was just looking for an oil change. He told me to have a seat and I would be helped later. I explained that I was just hoping to drop the car off (my ride was waiting in the parking lot). He repeated, this time more aggressively, to have a seat and he would help me later because he had another customer he needed to help. Surprised by his tone, I sat down wondering if I had misunderstood something but it seemed to be more of a power/control thing. Then instead of helping another customer, he continued to engage with me as I was sitting and asked if I had ever had my vehicle into Jiffy Lube. (I have 6 vehicles in my household and have owned this vehicle for 8 years so it’s hard to remember.) I replied that I think I have had this vehicle in before. He then snarkily asked, “you think you have or you know you have?” I repeated, I think I have. I was about to explain that we have a lot of vehicles but so put off by his attitude that I decided I didn’t want to give my business to this location. I told him that I didn’t understand or appreciate the attitude and proceeded to leave. The employee just ignored me and started talking to another customer.

Went to Jiffy Lube in St George on River Road. He quoted me $134.00, I wanted to pay at that time, he said no pay after service. Included with the service I paid for interior and engine filters changed, also $16.00 for battery posts cleaned. I noticed a lot of activity going on around my car, I asked them what was going on, he said my battery was dead. WHAT? I said how can that be? He said it happens. Then go to pay and he said the bill is $174.00! I said you said $134.00, he said sorry, I paid the $174.00. BOTTOM LINE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO JIFFY LUBE AND WILL WRITE ON OUR LOCAL PAPER TO SEE IF OTHERS HAVE SEEN THIS HAPPEN TO THEM. Needless to say I am not happy camper. Well car did not start the next morning, jump started, Went to Interstate Battery to buy a new battery, I spoke to them about my experience at Jiffy Lube. The man asked me about paying Jiffy to clean the battery cables, he said they looked pretty dirty, put the cable end into a solution, wow, so much crud came off. I cannot believe the River Road location is still in business! Sean contacted me after reading my review. He really stepped up to the plate. Refunded in full what I paid, thank you Sean

Fast and efficient service! The crew was very friendly and informative but not pushy, great job. My last oil change was at the dealership and I waited over 3 hours, these guys at Jiffy Lube had me in and out in under 15 minutes.

Found out I had to get my belt tensioner replaced about a month ago when I saw it shaking in idle (not supposed to). Went to CT automotive that day and they said they would call the warranty place and get in touch with me. Literally a month went by while I called them every other week to check up on the process. They told me it’s been hard to get in touch with the warranty provider. So pissed off I Went in to Jiffy Lube on River road just this week and told them I had a warranty on the car and it covered it. Told them it doesn’t have to be right away and can wait. The manager of the shop told me they can contact the warranty provider AND get it replaced within the hour. 45 min later I had a brand new tensioner and a car that didn’t squeal! Thanks Jiffy Lube for the speedy and professional service unlike CT automotive!
