I'm just here to give fair warning. I came in for an oil change and left with damage to my car's transmission. It wasn't because of age, my transmission had clear signs it was tampered with.

Do not ever go there: Rude, disrespectful, bullying, lack of basic office procedures, employees smoking next to the repair shop, inside of car smelled like lighter fluid as I left. Quick because no one wants to go there anymore.

Told me they couldn't do an oil change on a Miata, then switched to saying it would take 2+ hours. Last place I took it to did it in 20 minutes. I suspect that were just BSing because it was 5pm on Saturday and they close at 6... officially, they wanted to knock off early. Told me to come back on Monday morning, haha yeah right.

Smoking, profanity, rude, unprofessional employee's. When I mentioned that the oil change light was not reset, I was yelled at. When I got on the freeway to go home, my trunk popped up because it had not been shut properly. I almost got into an accident because of the incompetent service. I was very disappointed in my experience overall.

Rude staff that overcharge. A woman wiped down my car with dirty towels and I just had the thing washed so then there were dirty wipe marks all over the just washed car, and they rubbed oil on my steering wheel. At least I had napkins in the glove compartment and hand sanitizer to get me to a rest stop. Won’t be coming back.

As a woman, I have been overpaying and taken advantage of by many mechanics/auto shops, but I always feel like I’m in good hands at Jiffy Lube in Walnut Creek. They are very transparent and thorough. Dwight provides excellent service, which is rare to find these days. He is truly an asset to this company and they should be so lucky to have him on their team!

Stripped my oil pan and tried to blame it on another location even though I’ve only ever brought it to this single location last four changes. Update: After speaking to corporate they have retapped my oil pan and offered to replace the pan if it still has problems.

This place was just awful. I came in this morning at 8:00 AM because my maintenance light was on and I did not know how to turn it off. I explained that I had my oil changed recently and asked if they could turn the light off. The front guy told me I would have to do an oil change through them. I told them there was no need for that since I just had it done and just needed the light to go off. He then got in my car, and said he would turn it off. Then another guy comes up and says "if you are not getting an oil change we can't help you. " I asked him if he turned my light off he said "No." So I ended up turning my car around and went to Big Tires, explained the situation and they turned off my light in less than a minute and even showed me how to do it. I will never come back to Jiffy Lube ever again. Extremely unprofessional and lack customer service.

Couldn't remove my oil filter on 2009 Audi TT because they were missing a socket. I'd never heard of this problem before, but they said they couldn't find it.

My car stalled while I was turning at this stop sign. One of the mechanics ran across the street to pop a part back into place for me so I could get driving right away. Saved my bacon, thank you so much!

I've changed my review from a year ago because my last experience with Jiffy Lube Walnut Creek was anything but positive. The entire seems to have changed. The whole place seems like a party place. Some street vendor came by and everyone dropped what they were doing and came running out to get fruit or something. They spilled oil all over my engine block, so I get wonderful smells in my car. And they topped my coolant off with water. Not going back to this Jiffy Lube. If you do, do so at your own risk.

I went to do an oil change this morning 12-06-23 here in Walnut Creek they guy told me I need some filters changed and some other things done, and I said not right now just the oil change is good, so when it was time to pay he told me he couldn’t reset the oil change light because I didn’t get the filter so therefore he couldn’t reset it I said ok that’s fine. Later in the day I was in concord and seen a jiffy lube pulled in and asked they guy there if that’s something new that they’re doing, he’s said he’s never heard of such a thing he came right out and even showed me how to reset it. Guess I will be coming to the concord location from now on.

Incorrectly installed the oil filter with the gasket chewed up in the threads, resulting in all the oil blowing out around filter on the freeway, engine dying, and leaving me stranded waiting for a tow truck and unable to pick up my kids.

The manager greeted me and said he had to check that they had what was needed to service my 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid. Eventually, he found they did and my car was serviced quickly and efficiently.
