I had a bubble on one of my tires and I needed to install a new one. For a job as simple as this, I went to multiple shops but could not get it installed for different reasons. Then, I went to J&J. They were kind, welcoming and suggested to install immediately. They were thorough with their assessment so that they even realized the new tire was chipped. When I came later, they put it right there and then. Overall, I liked how these young mechanics treated a customer and how they were quick and detailed with the fix.

Man I tell you it's hard to find a mechanic shop where they are honest and have integrity. Well I found that place, and it's J & M. A part they fixed last year malfunction, and I told them what happened. It checked out, and they owned up to it. I told them God bless them, and they got me for life. Just make sure when you go there, you be honest to them. I'm recommending them with 10 stars💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫 My car is now running fabulous. ☺️☺️💯👍👍👍👍👍Thanks J and M.

Didn't have any work done yet but they were honest in telling me work was not yet needed for something when another local shop was ready to charge me $900! I think I found my new local mechanic!

I have been going here for years covering multiple cars and varying services (rotors, brakes, tires, rear end - everything) and always received great treatment and very reasonable prices. Unlike a lot of places you won't overpay for parts. I haven't always come here but whenever I didn't I regretted it, multiple times they had to fix things the dealer didn't get done right. Feels great to have a shop that you trust.

I recently purchased a used car. I got worried when my Emissions Transmission System light turned on, I took it here. The place was recommended by my partner. We walked in and were able to leave the car in the afternoon. Got a call later that evening to inform me I need my engine thermometer replaced. Had my car fixed the next day and at a reasonable cost. Totally recommend taking your car here. Welcoming, fast, good prices and just overall great service. Will totally take my car here in the future.

Outstanding service!!! They actually sent someone out to help get my car started (it was across the street), then replaced the battery and tested the system to ensure there were no other issues. They were quick, I was in and out maybe 75 minutes at the most. I highly recommend them!!!

Looking for auto repair service? Look no further! J&M are THE BEST!!! I used them several times for my routine car maintenance - they were always very accommodating, professional and unlike many corporate chains around (not going to name them here) this is privately owned business were they truly care about their customers & they never try to upsell or push work on you! Honest and highly profesional! I had emergency situation recently, they stepped up and took great care of my car same day! I felt very welcomed and was treated like family! Excellent! Will recommend to all my friends & family!!! Thank you again!

Delighted! For roughly two years now I've taken my 2014 BMW 3 Series and my teenage son's 2009 G5 to J&M. They have completed the following repairs for me: turbo replacement, thermostat, struts, shocks, breaks, heater core, tires, alignments. J&M is an honest repair provider that is absolutely worthy of your trust. They respond incredibly quickly, work hard, long hours and unlike so many other Mom & Pop repair shops, are always happy to see me. They're never rude, condescending, impatient, short or abrupt with me - all characteristics I've experienced at a host of alternatives. The impoliteness and dishonesty that's so pervasive among auto repair shops is entirely missing from my experience at J&M. Call them, hire them. They will be direct, honest and helpful.

I have been taking my car to to John for over ten years. He is a great person to do business with. The service is great and he gives straight answers on auto repair work. I recently bought a set of tires from him for a long journey. He sell Sumotomo tires and they are a terrific buy. I was a little hesitant because they are not a well-known brand but I did a little research and found they are terrific tires which has proven to be the case. John and his wife in the office run a nice business.

I'm not usually one to bash a business, but I am infuriated by the service or lack of service I received at this automotive shop in Hamilton. We dropped our car off on Friday afternoon to get checked out for a knocking sound,. I never heard anything back. So we called to find out and they said they never had a chance to look at it on Saturday we have to call again. We were told that we needed to replace our engine and they said they'd call us back with a quote. When we received a call back they said it would be about $10,000 so we asked for alternatives. Today is now Wednesday and we have not heard anything so we decided to go pick up our car, the car that was running and driving when we dropped it off. And paid our diagnostic charge with no problem and attempted to turn the car on to leave. Now the engine is blown the car is not fully able to turn on and the engine is smoking and shaking incredibly. The owner claims he only turned the car on and it just happened YET we were never notified of this event. And the car was moved! They told us they would give us our money back but wouldn't fix it or make it drivable to take it home. So I had to remove it myself. No one asked to fix anything for free, IF THE ENGINE TRULY 'BLEW UP' WHEN THEY TURNED IT ON, WHY WERE WE NOT CALLED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE EVENT AND STILL NOT INFORMED WHEN WE DECIDED TO PICK IT UP, WHAT KIND OF HUMAN BEING HANDS SOMEONE KEYS FOR CAR THAT 'BROKE' UNDER THEIR CARE AND SAYS NOTHING? Very disappointing.

Jon and his team did a full automatic to manual conversion on my 2000 Honda Civic. Every step of the way Jon kept me informed about how the car was going any additional work he would recommend. I never felt pressured to get anything done that I didnt want to and he explained everything very well. The car drives amazingly well, I'm SO happy with the final product and I can tell there was a lot of thought and love put into my baby. The only feedback and advice I have for anybody new into cars is make sure you ask how much things will cost along the way because things can add up. My bill was higher than I expected, but Jon was very reasonable and it definitely made sense why. This a really good business that cares about their customers. 10/10 I'll recommend this business to anyone. Thanks Jon!
