Mike and his crew are top notch! As everything in life has gotten more expensive over the last three years, it's nice to know I'll get great service and reasonable pricing from John's Automotive! I've lived in this neighborhood, Bascom and Whitethorne for almost 30 years and I've been taking cars there for 20 years! Thanks John and Mike! Rick Weingart

Just called and spoke to Mike (John's son) wanted to charge me $180 just to look at the car. Not an honest or nice guy in my opinion.

Customer service here is non existent The person on the phone is an absolute tool he makes fun of you for not knowing basic things about your car so if you don't know the engine size he's going to make fun of you for not knowing that if he's going to ask you things about your car what's going on with it and then when you try to explain it to him he's basic going to make fun of you for that too I mean there's a million other shops you can go to in the Bay Area You don't have to come over here and get belittled trying to get your car fixed and it's also a way to expensive so just go somewhere else. Also the owner is now trying to say I am writing about the wrong company instead of taking responsibility.

I have known John for about 20 yrs.idrove atow truck an towed for him also. He is like a father to me. I want to tell every one that of all the repair shops rivately owned an operated. That he is a 10 star shop.open, honest an truthful to all. An he is very reasoning an in some cases I've seen him help out those that are in bad times.
