5 stars is not enough for this man. It was Friday afternoon and my car would not accelerate. He said come by and I'll take a look. Other places had appts a week out and Johnny himself was busy but he took a few minutes to check my car, it was a lose hose. Bless this man because he fixed it in minutes and I was on the road. There aren't many good ppl in this world who just want to help others but Johnny is one. I will bring him lunch on Monday, we have to take care of good people just like they take care of others.

Car: 2014 BMW 320i xdrive He has a schedule booked out for 2 months but made an exception for me as I was traveling through the area. 1000% recommended for anyone in the area. Excellent service. Do not go to the dealerships. Johnny is extremely knowledgeable, and even showed me around my car and explained what are the key things to check and worry about. I was worried about an oil leak, and he solved the issue. He even topped off the rear differential fluid (which I’ve never touched since buying t the car @70k miles. Currently I’m at 140k)

Johnny has took care of several vehicles for me and I have never had a problem with his work. My vehicles have always been in and out of the shop in a very timely matter and that means a lot when they are work vehicles, the prices just can't be beat for the quality of work that he does...

For about a year, maybe 15 months, I had an intermittent problem … 19 out of 20 times, my car would start just fine, But once in a while, “click” … or “nothing”. I changed starter motor, battery and ignition switch. (one at a time) Same intermittent problem. Nice, inexpensive car otherwise. Very reliable transportation since 2006. I took it to Johnny’s Star Auto and described my problem. Mechanic said “bad starter”. I protested that I had already changed it. But the mechanic said that he would change starter with manufacturer’s recommended replacement and NOT a discount-auto-part replacement. At this point, I decided that it was worth the risk. I came back a few hours later and the car started right up. “yeah ok, it usually does … we’ll see if it lasts” They gave me back my car with a guarantee and a phone number to call if the new starter motor ever failed. Over 150 starts later, THE INTERMITTENT PROBLEM IS GONE!!! It always looks easy AFTER a problem is solved, but I can’t express my happiness that they FIXED a very tricky problem. Johnny’s Auto Repair has won my confidence … and fixed my car with 205,000 miles on it. It’s great to have the most reliable car I’ve ever had … able to start every time again.

Visiting/passing through from out of town.. Stopped at a playground to let my kids play and stretch before getting right back on the road again.. Loaded back up and my vehicle wouldn't quite turn over. Jumped on the phone to call the nearest mechanic and Johnny answered. He listened to my frantic rambling and after hearing the make and model and other details he told me it was only vapor lock and not to worry.. Let the fuel lines cool down and was back to normal. Stopped by his shop to thank him and have him take a quick look and he was very friendly, super honest and didn't hesitate to help me and my family out (even knowing there was likely no $ involved). Long story short he was great and we continued our journey with confidence thanks to him.. Would highly recommend giving him business.

Amazing shop my uncle recommended. I had a problem. Knew exactly what the issue was and they fixed it. No hassling or anything. Obviously if the requested repair did not fix the problem that would've been on me. Great shop and great work. I will be back with my focus ST for any other heavy duty work I myself can't repair
