Can’t say enough good things about these guys. My mom’s car broke down and we had it towed to them. They had it fixed the very next day for a very reasonable price. Bring cash or a check though- no cards.

This place is amazing. I’m coming from North Carolina and had my car unexpectedly brake down. The man was so nice and had everything checked out and done for me. Such reasonable pricing and quick service. Wouldn’t have made it back home without him.

My Daughter was returning from Gatlinburg and heard a noise from under car. I called David and he was able to check car out right away, luckily it was a quick fix and David told my daughter no charge and she was able to get back on the road, I wish his shop was local I would definitely take all my cars to him.

I want everyone to know the great service here is top notch David and Johnathan are some of the nicest people you will ever meet they are a local garage here in Knoxville with a local heart these guys do not overcharge they in fact will help you find the best prices for parts they did my repair in a day these guys have the heart of angels cannot recommend them enough and tank you to David and Jonathan for helping save me and my girlfriend you guys were a blessing

Incredibly customer focused and went the extra mile at a very resonable price. Please use Johnson Automotive for your auto repairs. We rented and air BNB for a month and around noon the day before we were supposed to leave the car started and then died. I suspected it was the fuel pump. I got the car towed to Johnson and they said they could work on it the next day. The fuel pump was bad and the part was a little unique. The best they could do was get a part the following afternoon. I asked if they minded if I called around to locate a part. The said that would be fine. I locate a part that would be ready for pickup. Johnson went and picked up the part fixed my car and then delivered it to me. Incredible service at a very low price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS.

It would be impossible to say enough amazing things about David and Johnson’s Auto Service. We were passing through town headed home to Nashville when our van’s check engine light came on blinking—we knew it needed immediate attention!! David picked up the phone right away and his crew diagnosed our issue immediately upon arrival. They were able to replace our coil pack faster and more affordably than I could believe!! We were back on the road within an hour of arriving. They went out of their way to help us and I can’t recommend them enough. If you’re looking for a group of honest, kind, skilled mechanics, these are your guys!!!

This repair shop has the nicest people alive I cannot recommend them enough if you want good service with good manners and a good price David is the guy to call they will forever be remembered by me and my boyfriend they were so kind best shop ever these guys I genuinely believe if they didn't have to make money they would just help out of their big hearts thank you David and Johnathan

This shop is honest, skilled, and fair! They accommodated me swiftly and were fully effective at getting me back on the road. They even had the part needed in this case already onsite. I was so impressed that I chose to stay in town to see them the next day to see if they could address other issues. They knocked it out of the park! I would genuinely highly recommend this shop to anyone. It's hard to find shops that do business the way that it should be done. Johnsons Auto is the real deal.

Went in for a brake inspection, the guys there were absolutely great! Efficient, knowledgeable, and super friendly. The service was outstanding! Will definitely go back for all of my automotive needs! Highly recommend!!!

Great place. Great service. Great price. Friendly. Reminds me of that one mechanic friend everyone has. I was traveling and they were available to get me and my family back on the road the next morning. They were the 4th shop I called, but the first one to call me back and have a spot. I've never experienced a shop calling me back, especially when I didn't leave a message. They actually cared and wanted my business. If I didn't live 4 states away, I'd take all my vehicles there. This is the place to go for well done, honest work.

David and Jonathan are not just great mechanics, they are amazing and thoughtful people. Our vehicle broke down at the bottom of an exit ramp while we were passing through on a road trip. A quick call to Johnson’s and they came out to us, stranded on the side of the road. They got us running and back on our adventure in under an hour. Don’t hesitate to call them, they are fantastic!

David is not only a wonderful mechanic but genuinely one of the best people I have ever met. I was passing through Knoxville heading to TX when my car broke down and he came out immediately to fix it. After a few hours of fixing the problem, we realized I would have to spend the night in town and he took the time out of his day to not only drop me off at a hotel but make sure I felt safe in a town I knew nothing about. I cannot recommend the men at Johnson’s enough. These are kind, thoughtful, amazing people who have literally restored my faith in humanity. I truly truly cannot thank them enough. If you have any car issues I urge you to call them immediately.

If you need a mechanic, CALL DAVID, NOW!!! David Johnson is an amazing human, mechanic and simply a blessing. My car broke down on the highway while in Knoxville visiting from Ohio, he came out quickly, got us off the road and to his shop. He helped me in a time of need and I could not be more grateful. He is honest, kind and gave me a glimmer of hope for humanity as he is an example of the world still having good people in it.

Me and my family was traveling to Chicago for Thanksgiving and our tire popped off in Knoxville on the expressway. We were calling around and couldn’t find anyone. I called Mr. Johnson (who wasn’t open) asking for guidance and he went ahead and helped us by taking the time out of his day to come where our car was (we had went to a hotel) and towing our car for us to his shop. First, he brung our car to us so we could get anything we needed…all of this on thanksgiving day. He is really a blessing and we appreciate everything him and his coworkers did for us because we were basically stranded. Then, the next day he came and picked us up and brung us to our car 🙏🏽❤️❤️ we definitely highly recommend his services to all families, friends and anyone in need of emergency services he will get the job. It’s good to know there are still good people in this world who care to really help others 🙌🏽
