Jon was impatient and hung up on me on the phone when I asked him a simple question. I had my mechanic from my hometown also call him. The mechanic said Jon got a little upset when he called to talk to him about the problem I was having to simply give him more understanding of the situation. From the jump, I explained to Jon that while "traveling" to OKC I was having problems with the car shifting gears and that with research it seems to be the PCM as I told the first mechanic. Jon diagnosed it to the tipm module, which was fine, but it wasn't the issue. He finally in the end said it was the PCM (which is what I initially told him and the first mechanic was likely the issue). Jon said he took it out on the highway and the car shifted gears fine. When my brother picked up the vehicle, it had the SAME issue. I called Jon to ask him how it did on the highway. He proceeded to say He didn't drive it on the highway because "I didn't say the highway". First, what mechanic hears "issue with shifting gears" and doesn't drive it on the highway??? That's when the car shifts gears the most. Second, if i told you the issue happened when i was traveling on the highway, why as a mechanic would you then proceed to drive it in the neighborhood. He said it did fine when he drove it in the neighborhood. However, MOST cars with issues shifting gears do just fine in neighborhoods regardless because you're driving a lower speed. The 2 star rating is because he was kind enough to allow my car to sit at his shop for 2 weeks til I could pick it up, but to find out the car is still not shifting gears is disappointing.

Starter went out on a Sunday and Jon allowed me to tow it to his business overnight and he got it replaced within the next day. Reasonable price good communication and he even followed up a few days after to assure everything is working fine. Definitely will be returning to him for any work I need done.

I called asking to get codes ran on my car stated that it was an older car “94” and needed at least a OBD 2 scanner. I was told what I said was incorrect. I proceeded to tell him what AutoZone told me and I said well whatever it’s called I just need some codes ran. The guy who answered the phone proceeded to talk over me and hung the phone up. I work with people everyday in a professional setting and that is not how you communicate with people. The conversation could’ve went like: Let me finish talking if I was wrong correct me when I’m done speaking and if this is a task you could do. Simply tell me when I could stop by for you guys to check out my car.

I took a firebird to him to get some engine work done he told me he would call me when it's finished and that was over two years ago and he never called me and now I found out that he got a new title for my car and he sold it

Great Guy!! Very reliable and flexible to your schedule and needs of service done!! Best prices in the city!! Honest and straight forward guy on services needed. Just moved to this side of town and had an emergency with my vehicle and it was kinda after hours when I called but he said bring it and worked on it past his work hours time to get the job done!! I have 3 vehicles and I won't take them to no one else but JON!! I highly recommend him for any mechanical job hands down!!

I will love to shout out Jon and Jon's Auto Solutions, Jon has worked on my Jeep a few times ... The wonderful thing about him is; I do not have to come back for the same thing when it come to him working on my Jeep!!! I really appreciate the time and care he puts into fixing my Jeep!! We drove from Tulsa to test drive and buy a used car. We brought it to John to make sure things were running smoothly. He went above and beyond, he checked the codes, looked up reports, test drove it, and helped us learn all the details! He was very friendly, listened to every concern, and was incredibly helpful!

Watch out for this girl. Tried to triple charge me the price he gave over the phone. He drives a customers car back and forth daily, lies, overcharges, and isn’t a good mechanic. He lives illegally in his repair shop. Ask him what happened to all his helpers! They left once he ripped them off. I had to call the cops to get my car out of his shop… same day a woman called the cops on him reporting he abused her. You’re trash Jon and a coward!!!

Jon is a knowledgeable mechanic that takes the time to explain your repair needs thoroughly. No pressure to get service that isn’t needed. He is fair with his labor costs and does a great job. I’m very thankful to have met him and he took excellent care of me especially when I was so frazzled from what a local huge chain had told me I need and the cost. Jon saved me over $1400 and my car is riding right again!

I was driving across the country experiencing all its delights when I realize after my stop to the Blue Whale of Catoosa that it's rather warm in my car. Like 93F warm. So I sweat my way to OKC and find Jon. Warm, personable, and willing to educate me on how my car works, he spent an hour at the end of a hard day to determine why the A/C wasn't working. The following morning, he rearranged his schedule to fix my car and get me back on the road. This is customer care!

I've used Jon's Auto Solution three times so far and I can honestly say its a great mechanic shop. They perform simple services like a oil change and more complicated services like a turbo J-Pipe install. They provide great customer service and keep you in communication on the progress of your vehicle. They offer fair and competitive prices, that a rare thing now a days.

John replaced brakes on my car and did not release the air in the brakes. Once he completed the car I drove off and could not stop and hit a tree. John offered to fix and replace the bumper and months went by and he blocked my number and said he was not replacing the part. Would not recommend this guy. Bad business.

I stopped by his shop after googling "Black Owned Mechanic near me. He was not open at his posted business hours of operation so I called. I told him the problem, my lights went out and my engine light was on. I asked if he had the equipment to do a diagnostic on my car. He responded yes. I asked if he did it for free. He said it would be $100. I then processed to ask him if I could go get a diagnostic some else. And he hung up in my face. I know I can go get a diagnostic for free at the Auto Zone. Before he hung up in my face. I was going to simply ask if I could get the diagnostic and come back and tell him the problem and I would pay him to fix it. As you know I didn't go back. I did just that, went to Auto Zone. Come to find out my light bulbs just went bad. My gas cap was loose was the reason my engine light was on. I replace my lights and got my gas cap repaired. Now I have lights and my engine check light is off. I guess I should thank him he saved me $100.
