Came in to Juniper once months ago for an oil change. I should’ve learned my lesson and never brought my car back. It took them 2 days to do a routine oil change on my car and they charged almost $150. Fast forward to just a week ago. I brought my car in for a diagnostic and a tune up before I took off on a cross country roadtrip to Southern California. I wanted to make sure everything was in working order and to prevent any car problems while on the road. I had been hearing a high pitch squeal coming from the engine anytime I pressed the gas pedal and told them about it. They said they’d look into it but it was most likely the dry rot tires. Not sure how that makes sense but ok. A day longer than they promise it would take them, they tell me everything looks great on the car - they replaced a tail light and two tires that they told me had dry rot. Two tires and a tail light. Ok. $529 for that…..seemed excessive but I went ahead. They tell me the sound is gone. Cut to a few hours into the drive and I’m still hearing that high pitched squeal coming from the engine. I stop at a roadside mechanic but he can’t place it. The sound starts becoming louder and louder and I’m feeling the engine starting to lose power. I take it into a mechanic who immediately suspects an exhaust issue. He runs some pretty simple tests and guess what, it’s an exhaust issue, specifically, a a leaking gasket that has caused my catalytic converter to give out. I end up paying $1500 for this new mechanic to replace my catalytic converter and the gasket. Juniper absolutely failed to do a proper and thorough diagnostic or else they would have caught this. I told them about the abnormal sound and they shrugged it off. Incompetence and just plain laziness and greed. I will never come back and will never recommend this shop to anyone. STAY AWAY. UPDATE: one of the new tires they put on is already losing air. The tail light they replaced is already not working again. Unbelievable.

Did right by me Drove over to this place from an incompetent mechanic that completely missed a coolant hose leak. These guys were very communicative and found & patched the hose leak in a timely manner. They weren’t able to source all of the parts for my old oddball imported car but I don’t hold it against them and they gave me a comprehensive list of what I needed and what it would cost for labor if I sourced the parts myself. Their rates were reasonable and they didn’t try to screw me over on anything. Overall an honest and competent mechanic from my experience.

This is the type of shop everyone should be fortunate enough to have. Honest, thorough, responsive, fair. I was terrified my car was doomed. But, Anthony and his crew took their time, researched the problem, and presented me with the solution. It was expensive, and I had the feeling Anthony felt genuinely bad about that. I appreciated the time he spent diagnosing the issue, and his honest and expert opinion. My car is running just fine after the repair and Juniper has absolutely gained a loyal customer. I brought my work van here after bringing it somewhere else over 3 times without any answers. Brought it to Juniper, they found the problem in 15min and the next day had all the parts needed and a reasonable quote. I was back on the road working again without missing a beat. Definitely bring your work vans here.

We were leaving Philly to go home back to VA and we started having trouble with our vehicle. We were recommended to Juniper Auto and they came through! We showed up at 11am and they immediately started diagnosing the issue. By 130 I got a call with the potential repair and gave approval and by 330 I got a call that the vehicle was ready and we were on the road home by 4pm. We were very thankful for all of their hard work, patience and communication through the process. Very grateful they were able to get it repaired in time and didn't have to stay in a hotel another night to incur more unforeseen expenses. Thanks again to the team at Juniper Auto!

These guys fixed us up at a good price in a hurry. We broke a serpentine belt on 95S, pulled in here, and we were back on the road in half an hour (actually maybe less). You can't get better service than that. Thanks so much for saving our day, Juniper Auto Repair.

My serpentine belt broke while I was on 95. I pulled off the highway and went to Juniper because they had good reviews here on Google. The mechanic was able to order a new belt and get it fitted in less than 30 minutes. All for a reasonable price. It's hard to find someone who provides fast and reputable service. These guys are great.

This shop is the best shop in philadelphia hands down. The price is good and they help you save money. Everybody here is nice and respectful and they get the job done fast. I love this shop 💯. Yall need to come here you won't be disappointed
