These folks did an excellent job, communicated timing and pricing incredibly clearly, and had my Jeep back to me in less than a day. Two things happened that solidified them as my forever mechanic: (1) they fixed an exhaust issue that has plagued my car for years, that three different mechanics (including the Jeep dealer) couldn't figure out or fix, and (2) when I asked them to do a multi-point inspection on my car to troubleshoot potential new issues, they did not come up with a laundry list of money-grabbing issues -- they put my car up on the rack and showed me what would likely need repair in the next 6 months, and explained to me what sounds to look out for to know when it was time to bring it back.

I've been bringing my cars to K&M for over a decade. They do solid work at fair prices and I believe they are an honest, ethical business. Once, when I was about to take my old van on a long out of state trip on short notice, they were very concerned about a structural issue with the under-carriage, and prioritized performng that repair so I could make my deadline.i really appreciate having mechanics like them in our neighborhood.

So AAA Toco Hills Car Care Plus was going to charge me $750+ to replace my starter on my beloved 1997 Toyota 4Runner/Ms. Toyo; I basically died and rose from the dead after AAA told me this. Did a Google search about the starter relay fuse and gave it a shot; $45 fuse fix, I’m game, but it wasn’t the fuse relay. Called K & M Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair shop, to get a quote on a starter replacement and they quoted me about $412, and I had Ms. Toyo towed by AAA and was charged $100 by AAA because I went over my emergency tow limit. Either way, K & M Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair shop was beyond honest with getting Ms. Toyo back up and running and it only cost me $197, because the repair had to do with the starter wiring. Like anyone else, I’m for honesty and great auto work and great customer service, and K & M Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair shop delivered. I would highly recommend K & M Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair, to anyone and everyone; truly top notch. And side note, SHAME ON YOU AAA TOCO HILLS CAR CARE PLUS!!! SHAME!!! However, I’ll still vouch for AAA and their roadside services, BUT SHAME ON AAA TOCO HILLS CAR CARE PLUS!!! SHAME!!! Peace and Blessings to All.

Woke up this Morning and My Cadillac was dead...A Friend drove me to this Shop....The Nicest People, They said if I had it towed there they would Check it Out...I Wasn't there more than 30 Minutes And The Mechanic Harrison found the issue...Got The Car Going And I was Out of there...So Appreciative For Them All....If I have a Problem...I'll be calling them....Thanks So Much!

I highly recommend this place to get your car worked on. They did great work and were very honest with fair pricing. They never tried to up charge me; in fact, they reduced the cost of my diagnostic test since it only required 30 minutes out of the 60 minutes normally billed. I spoke with Dave and he was extremely friendly and answered all my questions respectfully and patiently. What’s nice about this place is they have a key drop off box where you can fill out your information & reasons for the visit on an envelope to put your car key in and drop it off. Since I get to work before they open, this allowed me to safely drop off my car without needing to keep my car unlocked or hiding my key. Also, they worked with me on making sure my car was fixed on the same day so I was able to pick it up after work. Overall, this was the best experience I’ve ever had at an automotive shop and will most definitely be returning.

They did awesome work on repairing and identifying all the issues caused and overlooked by the body shop in terms of quality. They were efficient and fast and gave me an expert write up on what the body shop hadn’t fulfilled on. I would always recommend this mechanic and plan to bring any vehicles they can service to this shop for repair.

I've used them in the past and they've done decent work at resonable prices. Lately, they have become outrageous with prices and attitudes. They require you pay fees and other diagnostic tests that are not needed but to increase their profits. Customer service has decreased, the receptionist speaks to you like its a privilege to talk to them, not that you're a paying customer. Very disappointed in the service and will take my two vehicles elsewhere to be serviced.

Please heed the many warnings saying that this establishment will place random parts in your car without your knowledge and overcharge you for it. I brought my car in recently and was charged for a part without communication only for one member of the staff yell at and berate me, use video cameras and microphones as ways to condescend, and question customer integrity. For your sanity, please take your car elsewhere-- you will be better taken care of!

Honest & thorough shop. I took my car in for an inspection which was $69 (very reasonable) which included a test drive and they put it on the hoist. They said "everything looks good" & that it was a "really good choice, who did you buy the car from?" The reason I know they are honest is because it is an old car and they couldn't see when the timing belt was changed (there was no sticker and it didn't say anything in my owners manual). Instead of just blindly recommending that I do it, they asked if I knew when it was done - it had been changed shortly before the inspection. Good to know there are some good guys around!

My car is there right now. I've never worked with an Auto Repair shop so communicative, straight forward, and honest. They don't talk down to me because I'm a woman. They don't invent other things to fix while tending to a problem. They get the car in an out at super speed. And I've compared their prices, they are clean.

This place was great! We had car troubles driving theough Atlanta and they were able to fit us in on very short notice on a Friday afternoon! They did a great job and were able to get us back on the road in 2 hours! Very friendly and helpful! Big fans of this place!!!

I am no longer in Atlanta but wanted to make sure I left a positive review for K&M. After the place I had been taking my car for a decade was bulldozed I had to find a new place I could trust with my aging vehicle. I am thankful I found K&M! They took care of my vehicle and did some major repairs before I moved to a new state. I wish I could remember their names, but everyone was helpful and took me seriously, which doesn't always happen for women. I have recommended them to folks I know still in Atlanta and have gotten positive feedback from them as well! If you need trustworthy, knowledgeable people, who won't take advantage of you and your wallet, K&M is the place.

True story: they stole my catalytic converter while it was on their lot - then they charged me to repair it ! Spoke to a lawyer, they are liable under Bailor-Bailey Act, going to sue them. Watch Out !
