Been taking my stuff to Tom for years. He works on all my vehicles. Always honest and to the point explanation of all recommended repairs. Never tries to upsale or do anything that's not needed. Would I recommend this shop to others? I reffered moms to bring her car here!!

I have taken my 3 cars with these mechanics and I never had a problem. He did a wonderful job in replacing a transmission in my truck and I do not have any complain. He has done different type of job in the other cars. It's been 3 years that they work in my cars and never have a problem. I do not concentrate in people's personality, my goal is that I get an excellent service. Keep doing a good job to the community.

I read all the negative reviews on here and assumed everyone was being excessive especially since I've been to him in the past and he was nothing like what the reviews said, well let me tell you the reviews are true and his customer service wasn't the greatest before but he is really bad now. He tells me " I can't fix it unless you know what the problem is." I'm sorry when did mechanic's start doing that? Anyways he's as bad as the reviews say. And if you still want to take your car in just know he won't take it unless he has no cars there.

Extremely unprofessional and rude and he thinks he has the right to be rude! When I told him he shouldn’t be so rude to paying customers he said “ he said he can do what he want I’ve bee in business for 20 years “ he kept my registration paperwork & failed my smog the code said my gas cap was open I believe he had something to go with it I don’t trust him at all!!! When I asked him about a retest he said I would have to pay full price because I accused him of having something to do with my fail

I recently had my car serviced at this mechanic shop, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with their effectiveness. The technicians were knowledgeable and efficient, diagnosing the issue promptly and making the necessary repairs in a timely manner. The quality of work was top-notch, and my car has been running smoothly ever since. I highly recommend this mechanic for their excellent service and expertise.

I am from L.A. But had cooling system problems going through Fresno. I have a 2011 Range Rover Sport, and I spent the entire day going from one shop to the next, and no one would even give me rye time of day. No one wanted to touch a Rover, some weren't trained and I understand that but others just didn't want to bother. Kar Tech was literally the last shop on the a very long street, and it was almost closing time. I just wanted someone to evaluate the cooling system so I would know it quick repair would get us home to L.A., or if I needed to truck it home. There was a heatwave that day and I was hot, tired, and frustrated. I went in and explained everything to Tom, and expected to be thrown out like Pep Boys, Firestone, Les Schwab the others had done. But he took it in, tore it down and showed me what was going on. So I knew what we had to do. His crew put everything back together, put our Rover where the flatbed could pick it up. We trucked our vehicle home that night. When my home mechanic looked at it, it was exactly what they said it was. We were very appreciative and sincerely thank the Kar Tech crew for helping us when no one else would.

Used to be my to go to smog place until I decided to let him work on my car other than smog; BIG MISTAKE. Just changing my belts, OVER PRICED and needed my fuel pump replaced, dude claimed he try replacing it 3 times with 3 different fuel pump and it just won't fit. Said the only one that will fit, he will have to order it from dealership and going to cost me $500 plus for it. Clearly, the dude trying to cheat/rip me off. I said no and still got charged $84 bucks for him to put fuel pump back in, which is just a piece of cake job. Went to O-Reillys and bought a fuel pump $200 bucks fits right in. STAY AWAY FROM THESE DIRTY BUSINESSES.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. WORST SERVICE EVER. ALSO THEY LAP THEIR VALVES AND BELT SAND ALL THE HEADS AND THEN SAY THAT A MACHINE SHOP DID IT ALL. CALLED THE MACHINE SHOP TO CHECK ON MY HEADS AND THEY NEVER SAW MY HEADS. APPARENTLY THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE AND THEY LIED EVEN AFTER I TOLD THEM. DONT DO WORK RIGHT AND MY CAR IS STILL NOT RUNNING BECAUSE OF THESE GUYS. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS FRESNO.

We were traveling up north. Stopped in Fresno for lunch. Car’s charging indicator light came on. Bad alternator. Tom diagnosed and got us back on the road. He did the work and asked a fair price. Thanks for helping our trip get going again.

Very bad bad BAD service. Owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. Called to see if I could take in my car so they could see what's wrong with it. They asked me what the problem was and I told them to the best of my ability and POLITELY "I don't know anything about cars that's why I want YOU, the mechanic to take a look" and the owner went off refusing my services unless I told them the problem of the car. I ended up driving to them in person, after the call, to see if they could take a look on site and the owner refused to speak to me even though I was nice in person constantly saying I'll pay money for your service. "I wont look at your car", he kept repeating. I got fed up and left. Even if your in a bad mood, STILL BE POLITE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!

A dishonest technician. He said he changed something but did not do it. It really messed up my car. I had to have the job redone.
