Extremely rude personnel and owners. Wouldn’t accept money from insurance when I brought it in to have my car repaired and then charged me admin fees and additional made up charges. Guy behind the desk just stared at me when I tried to pay and was speaking in another language so I couldn’t understand

I was thoroughly impressed with Kayex! The Customer Service auora is “family friendly” and the staff, like Luna, Duane, David to name a few, are prompt in assisting you, compassionate, offer loaners when available, and seem to take on your vehicle headache as their own... The owner, Auguy, is extremely knowledgeable, and meticulous in his business practices and the ethics thereof. My car looks brand new! I highly recommend this jewel of a collision repair company nestled in a quaint location near the art district in Haslet, TX.

My car was in an accident a month ago. I searched for this repair shop on Google and saw good reviews, so I chose this one (I chose another one before, but it's hard to describe it in words). Because of the language barrier, he took the initiative to communicate with the insurance company patiently, which saved me a lot of trouble. And his skills are really good. He also helped me deal with some minor problems that were not covered by insurance without any extra charges. I am very satisfied with this experience. I highly recommend it.Deserved 5 stars.

This review is specific to the owner, Auguy, and his lack of consideration for how to treat customers. The rest of his staff I was in contact with over a 4 month span were polite and helpful. I brought my truck to Kayex in March for a frame swap due to an accident. There were multiple delays both from Progressive Insurance and Kayex. If I did not call in myself, I would not receive status updates. After the first 2.5-3 months, I would call in weekly and would be told my truck will be ready “next week.” That happened for multiple weeks. After 4 months, my truck was ready for pickup. When I arrived to pickup, there was $5k outstanding balance that Progressive would not pay because the frame labor cost sourced by Kayex was a higher hourly rate than Progressive approved. Kayex claims they sent the invoice to Progressive prior to doing the work but never heard back from Progressive so they proceeded with repairs. None of this is my concern as the customer having paid the deductible to the shop and was never reached out to during the process about a lack of coverage for repair/labor costs. The owner, Auguy, refused to give me the keys to my truck until the $5k outstanding balance was paid. I called Progressive and they explained how they told the shop they would only cover $95/hour for frame labor costs (Kayex went with someone who charged $150+/hour). After arguing with Auguy at this shop for multiple hours and threatening to get lawyers involved, he finally said “take your keys and leave.” Kayex still owes me a tire (a bolt pierced one of my tires while at his shop) and a skid plate (that was paid for by Progressive and notated on the invoice). It’s been roughly a month since I’ve had my truck back. I spoke to Auguy today and he still refuses to reimburse me until the $5k is paid. This claim has been closed with Progressive since the day I picked up my truck and Auguy has not reached out to Progressive since the day I picked up my truck. Infuriating experience. How are you going to withhold a tire and another part paid by insurance until your $5k balance is paid? The lack of communication between the shop and insurance is not the customers fault. At the end of this claim, Progressive Insurance told me they will no longer work with this shop in the future due to their unprofessionalism and poor customer experience.

Great team, great service. Honest pricing and we’re done quickly. Had damaged a passenger door and they gave me different options to repair current door or replace with another door. Either way, their pricing was considerably lower than competitors and they did a great job. Hope I don’t have to go back but if I do, this is my place to do business! Thank you Kayex!!

My wife and i took our 2021 Hyundai palisade to get our driver rear view mirror entire assembly replaced. They fixed it in less than 15 mins . Great customer service , friendly staff and very kind. I recommend them to anyone looking for great service and affordable !!!

Just UNBELIEVABLE service and attention to detail! So many body shops cut so many corners but this one is as thorough as a dealership! Very happy with my $7k repair. Didn’t have to deal with the stress of interacting with the at-fault insurance about the repair. They did it all! So happy!

I needed to have my passenger mirror replaced and decided to stop by and speak to someone at Kayex. I had the pleasure of speaking with Duane who is so kind and absolutely amazing. He ordered the parts which arrived a couple of days later. On service day, he took the car back and had my mirror replaced in a little of no time. I was so impressed by the quality of the work and the amount of time. Thank you so much Duane and Kayex!! You are awesome!

Kayex has been a pleasure to do business with. Over several weeks with negotiations with my insurance company kayex played a major role and taking that battle off my plate. They handled business like a true champion. They made me feel like family, also they had the opportunity to work on my wife's car too. I'm so impressed! Not that am looking for anymore car damage but if I do I know where I'm going and u should too.

Super happy with them! They had to order a part on a Saturday and it was there by Monday. So fast! Then when I came to get it installed, they saw me right away and I was in and out in no time at all. Very fair prices and just great experience overall. Added bonus... cute little office dog!

Kayex did a wonderful job with repairing my car after I was rear ended. I went through insurance and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Kayex sent me text updates along the way and kept me informed about any delays with parts, and it was not a long delay at all! The owner is very kind and the employees as well! All in all, I had a very pleasant experience and I’m satisfied with how my car turned out. The paint job was done very nice and the quality of their work really shows and represent who they are as a Collision repair shop.

The staff was incredibly polite, they explained everything in detail regarding the necessary repairs to my car. They called me with updates to let me know the status regularly and they always returned my calls. I absolutely recommend them and will use them in the future if I ever need any type of repair. They fixed the back of my car after someone rear ended me. Customer service always A1, super nice lady that answers the phone. She kept me updated with everything they were doing as well as what she was sending my insurance adjuster. I went out of town for 10 days it was ready the day I got back. I think they even cleaned the inside of my car it looked freshly vacuumed lol. And the bumper looked more new than when I first got the car.

They take insurance (learned some shops do not). Every staff member I was in contact with was kind and communicative. On the phone they were knowledgeable and respectful. All my emails received reply within an hour or two. My car looks brand new. Highly recommend!

This place was so amazing. I had an accident and they fixed my car so quick and at such a great place. Everyone was so nice and helpful it felt like I was home. They did such a great job the first time that I literally left the other auto body shop I was at to bring my car here again instead. As a university student I can’t afford a lot so kayex has really been a great help.yI would give 10 stars if I could.

We had a great experience with Kayex. Everyone there offered top notch customer service by being helpful and nice. They communicated with us the whole time. They had us bring our car in when the parts arrived and it was ready the same day. Although I hope to never have another damage to my car, they are now my go to place for collision repair.

Went to these guys based off of their reviews. Never spoke to them before and still got a totaled truck to them. They were so patient and willing to work with me even though i put them through some drama with insurance. They were honestly a saving grace for me after what happened. When looking for a repair shop I stumbled across Kayex collision. After two separate incidents ranging from a fender bender to hail damage repair, they have been nothing but great. They are trustworthy, and put the customer first. They also hit the timelines they gave both times, and also finished early one of the times! Bring your car here, and you won’t regret!
