Gabe is honest snd efficient at his work. First shop I’ve been to that won’t try and upsell you on anything you don’t need. Very upfront about pricing and repairs needed. Extremely fair pricing and have brought my vehicles to him on several occasions, as well as family members.

My new go to garage. These guys will do better work than a dealership for half the price. They're all extremely friendly as well. Gabe changed out the timing belt on my honda and he was super responsive to texts and calls and had my car ready to go the same day. One of the few places you can rely on for quality work at an honest price.

There was an issue with my car that resulted in it not being able to accelerate and it needed to be towed. When I called Gabe, he picked up on the first ring and despite not really having room for me, he still told me to bring in my car as he wanted to help. Gabe gave me a temporary fix within minutes that allowed my car to drive again, but was honest in saying that the issue is something only the Buick dealership would really be able to fix. He was fast, honest, and with great kindness, did not charge me. I am very grateful for Gabe and his expertise!

Had a great experience! It’s always nice to go to a place where the workers don’t seem to hate working. Gabe was super helpful and was able to diagnose and fix my car and my wife’s car in less than 24 hours. Would definitely recommend!

It's always the "hole in the wall" places that seem to provide the best service and Keep Swingin Garage is no different. They have a 5-star rating for a reason! Gabe is very professional, accommodating, up front about repairs and understanding of your circumstances. My front blowers went out while I was driving in the mega heat last week. I Googled a mechanic near me and came upon KSG. I called but Gabe requested that I text him the issue, which I did and he responded quickly with a quote and also a day that he could have the blowers repaired. It was the same week, reasonably priced and repaired in a very timely manner. He's not pushy like some mechanics can be about needed repairs and I really appreciate that. He actually suggested another repair that I would need but assured me that there is no rush and that my vehicle is still drivable. Only a reputable, honest mechanic would tell you that. So, he is my mechanic from now on and I highly recommend KSG!

Great experience at KSG. I don't review often but when I do it's for good reason. Gabe was as advertised. Super nice guy, polite and just interested in providing great service. The excellent reviews on his shop are dead on. It's not easy finding quality customer service anymore. I'd recommend to anyone in need of car repairs, to call Gabe. He was referred to me and I'm paying it forward. Great shop.

Amazing. Super, super friendly. They worked with me and all my issues. They had so much patience and were happy to explain everything. I received video clips of the issues prior to the work being performed. The work was completed on time and they gave me a pleasant explanation. An experience I wasn’t expecting. The place does not have a seating area so you will want to drop your vehicle off (the owner had no problem with me “hanging around for a bit”) Really the place you want to go for your vehicle. It is a diamond in the rough!!!

They are awesome. Installed leaf springs on my 2000 Cherokee for me. Also diagnosed and repaired my cylinder 6 misfire. Done in a day, fair price. I normally hate paying anyone to work on my stuff, but I'm glad I chose them. I 100% trust them with any work I'll need done in the future.

After recently moving to Indianapolis, I was in need for a new mechanic. I had taken my truck to the dealership for a standard oil change/tire rotation and they gave me a whole list of things that 'needed' to be fixed, totaling over $3k. After some looking I found Gabe and I could not be happier with the work he did for me. As soon as I got to his shop, he put my truck on the lift and SHOWED me the things that actually needed to be fixed, which was maybe a third of the dealership price. Gabe isn't in the business of telling lies to make an extra hundred dollars, he is incredibly personable and honorable. It's been a month since I had a large amount of work done and my truck feels great, no problems! I would recommend Gabe to anyone in search of a very knowledgable, trustworthy mechanic. Completely separate, Best Buy messed up my infotainment system and lied to me saying they never pulled it out of my dash but they clearly did (there was a huge gap between my screen and the plastic faceplate). I called Gabe and he told me to swing by and he pulled my screen out and reset it in my dash the RIGHT way. Gabe really cares about what he does and that translates to his work, thanks Gabe!

Highly recommended. A truly professional and honest individual. My car's AC wasn't working, and despite spending a significant amount of money trying to fix it elsewhere, nobody could identify the issue. Gabe, however, pinpointed the problem in seconds. Despite living in West Lafayette, I wouldn't hesitate to take my car to him for any future issues, even though it's an 80-mile journey.

Gabe, Thank you so much for getting my car back on the road! I was told by another shop I needed a complete new transmission. I decided to get an additional quote here at Keep Swinging and he gave me his honest opinion and I trusted him. Keep swinging got my car back in the road that day and got to root of my problem. I didn’t have to spend 4k on a new trans and I’m back on the roada couple hours later. Couldn’t be happier I will be back:)

Great dude. Was purchasing a vehicle from a dealer local to them but wanted to get an inspection for peace of mind while there as I lived 2 hours away. Called earlier in the week to make sure he'd have some availability and he told me to call an hour before I'd arrive so he could have a bay opened up. Got there, took it for a quick spin, plugged up the scan tool and then put it on the rack to check everything out. I had my dad with me and he didn't mind allowing my father to poke around as well. Thankfully the car was in very good shape! He noted a few things that would need replacing (batteries were 6 years old, needed tires) and wrote me up a report so I had something to take back to the dealer with me. Tried to pay the man and he refused. Wouldn't even allow us to buy him lunch! WOW. Long story short, I drove home with the car feeling very confident. When I got home I took it to my usual mechanic to get a second inspection (which I did pay for) and they noted the exact same things lol. Highly recommend anyone in the area to come and check him out for any car needs. He works on both foreign and domestics and isn't looking to rip you off which is such a breath of fresh air. I brought my Camaro 2SS and my 350z to Gabe a couple times for some serious suspension repairs and for a new clutch installation, and he always took care of me. I will definitely be back for anymore serious repairs.

I have have found my new mechanic. Personable, kind, honestly and incredibly generous. I see for myself what other reviewers have mentioned. Gabe is beyond awesome and may have inadvertently fixed issues that I don't even know about if it is what he BELIEVES it could be. Puts off great vibes. I will be back for any of my baby's mechanic needs.

Highly recommended! I'm here for work (out of state) ran into a major problem and Gabe was nothing but honest and beyond helpful to get me back to my home state . I wish I lived closer because I'd never use another mechanic but Gabe ! It was in the evening and he took the time to help me .. very great guy and mechanic. 10/10 !!!

The owner Gabe is amazing at what he does!  He has the best customer service, is honest, and gets the job done fast. He loves what he does and it shows. Gabe is an all around great guy who cares about the car, but more about the people. They got my car back to me in record time and drives better than ever.

I have used them as a last resort on a lemon of a vehicle. Gabe diagnosed a lack of transmission fluid as the only thing wrong and fixed the problem for a very modest price. I had been told by 3 other shops that it was a transmission was required to be rebuilt. They are fantastic and honest, traits hard to find in that industry

Our truck broke down in late afternoon on a road trip across the US. Gabe was the only mechanic that would take us in that night. We were in and out in a few hours after Gabe was willing to stay late to make sure we got back on the road. An extremely clean shop that is fast, knowledgeable, and friendly. Would recommend! We went to Keep Swingin Garage to see if they could fix our cigarette lighter, Gabe was amazing and replaced the fuse and added air to our tires and was really helpful with the questions we were asking. Both of the guys there were very friendly and we will definitely be using them in the future if needed.

HONEST, EFFICIENT and KNOWLEDGEABLE!! Ladies, if you’re tired of being scammed and lied to by mechanics, give Gabe a call. I took the vehicle there at 4 and was out the door at 5:15 with a new starter. I didn’t feel ripped off or lied to. It’s not a big business but I felt confident he will stand behind his warranty if something were to go wrong. He fixed our daughter’s CV shaft and wheel bearing for half the cost of “one of those corporate shops”. I will be recommending Gabe and his team to my friends and family and I’m sharing his site on Nextdoor too. If you’re on the fence because you don’t know,call him, go see him, you will have a néw mechanic too!!! I hope I don’t need you soon Gabe, but if I do, I will be confident in my decision to call. The guys who work here are awesome. I called because I was denied service at jiffy lube and was looking for a quick oil change. I said I was right down the street and they got me in right that second. 10/10 would recommend. Great service.
