My friend renectly went here to get his car worked on the customer service was amazing but on the other the tech wasn’t to sure on what he was doing my alternator was brand new and they took it out and replaced that my battery also was new they replaced that . Then I spend 850$ to get it worked on I got my car and it was still dying and not starting I gave my car back to the shop and they was naming a whole bunch of thing that needed to be replaced witch I was okay paying for but on the other hand I feel the tech doesn’t fully know what there talking about .

Showed up right when they opened on a Sunday morning to get a nail out of my tire and an oil change. Was able to get in and out in a reasonable time and Chrissy made sure to set me up with the best deals before I walked out the door. Another great experience at Ken Towery! Thanks again!!

I found out Sunday morning from another tire repair center that I had a nail in the center of my tread that could have been patched, and a screw in the sidewall that was un-repairable. The other tire repair center said they did not have in stock any tires that fit my car’s tire size. I drive a 2015 Lexus IS 250-The front tires are smaller than the rear tires, the flat was on the back. I called the store and spoke with the service technician manager, did not get his name. He searched the system to see if he had any tires in stock that would fit my vehicle, and he said he was showing a tire on hand and he told me to come on by. When I arrived, he recognized me and told Chrissy/Christie the blonde lady working the counter about my phone call. She got all my vehicle information keyed in and they got my vehicle back within about 15-30 minutes of my arrival. About 30-45 minutes in while trying to swap out the tire, they informed me the tire they were showing in the computer inventory was not physically located in the store, but that they had an alternative brand of tire that was comparable in quality to the other tire and that fit my vehicle. I told them the other tire was acceptable, and Tarrence/Terrence went to work on switching the tires out. They even let me take the bad tire with me to show the Lexus Store of Lexington, because I just bought a new set of tires recently back in April/May 2024 and need to check and see if I have road-hazard on them. Chrissy/Christie checked me in and out, she added road hazard onto the tire I bought, she was very friendly and helpful in explaining everything. From Start to Finish, it took this center about 1 hour to get me back on the road. I’m a very satisfied customer, and I’m now a Loyal Customer to this Ken Towery Auto-Care Center. I will be returning to this center in the future.

I purchased the Groupon which advertised an alignment for $70. Upon talking to the cashier at the store, he informed me that the Groupon in fact only gives you a $70 credit towards the normal cost of the alignment, which only results in a very small savings. This is clearly an extremely shady bait and switch tactic to get people in the door, as the Groupon doesn't mention anything about this and implies you are getting the full alignment service for $70. Also, the technician mangled my steering rack boot which I had to fix myself. I also suspect that something they did caused my fog lights to stop working, as they worked earlier that day and then after the appointment they no longer worked. All in all, an extremely duplicitous, shady and incompetent company I will will never patronize you again and will advise everyone I know against it as well.

I recently visited this Bardstown Rd location for some minor concerns regarding my vehicle. Their service was top notch. They checked my concerns and went over my priorities. They made the needed and necessary adjustments.Now, I feel safe and happy. They are under new management! The new management is A-OK in my book💯💯💯💯💯 Thanks to all. Your help is greatly appreciated. On 10/20/24, I was at the shop to make oil change and told me not to take half an hour but it took longer than one hour and another thing the lady was charged me $112.03 but she told me $78.80 cents. If she told me the price exactly like I paid I wouldn’t be change oil change there.

This business lied twice about rotating my tires with oil change. Manager got mad when I showed I had marked my tires. Blamed Biden. Then brought out an employee to tell them I called them a liar. Terrible and dishonest business experience twice. Don’t recommend.

Chrissy and the team at this Ken Towery location are INCREDIBLE!! They got my issue diagnosed quickly, Chrissy got me as many discounts as she could, and they even helped me figure out a schedule to pick up my car after they were closed because I had to rush to work. They go ABOVE AND BEYOND to help their customers & I will absolutely be back the next time I need assistance!!

I found a piece of metal in my tire- they got my van right in, took it out, and then let me know that it hadn’t pierced through! They didn’t even charge me anything, even though I wish I’d at least had some cash for a tip! So fast, cool, and awesome! 🤩

I got to this location earlier this week thinking there was a major problem with my vehicle because I heard a loud noise in the wheel, but it was just as simple as changing out the brake pads. They were very honest and didn't overcharge me. They took very good care of me, and there's 2 gentlemen out there that were super quick and super fast. You would have thought they were superman thank you to Ms. Chrissy and the 2 gentlemen and the bays y'all are lifesavers. Thank you very much

Me and La San came to this location with a low tire thinking that we would need to replace it. But the lady named Ms. Christie came to our rescue, saying that it was a very simple repair. It just needed to be patched, and the tire was still very usable for at least another couple 1000 miles. She also said that the tire That we had was brand new, which I had just purchased them but I did not have a warranty she was able to take and repair the tire and me and my son were on the way. Thank you very much

So I can’t make this up I’m still crying writing this, I caught a flat on the highway and made it to Thortons it was me my man and 2 kids so triple aaa couldn’t transport us because of too many passengers I walked here in desperate need of help, I walked in 2 minutes before close I told the lady that I needed a used tire which if yall know this place they typically have all brand new tires, I didn’t know my tire size, she sent one of her coworkers to my car to check the size, that was the first thing they helped with, ok they didn’t have used tires for the tire I had so I was supposed to be on my way this store is closed but this woman made sure she stayed 50 minutes over her closing time and she paid for most of my tire ,my tire was a brand new tire that came with a warranty and all and it was 120 she paid for everything but 38 dollars and they put my tire on, I will forever love and be grateful for this beautiful woman, she has blonde hair and works at the front desk she did all this for me and we didn’t even get to exchange names. It sends chills down my body how much she cared for me and my kids in this time of need, thank you and Terrence, yall have me locked in forever and I’m defiantly going to bless you all as soon as I can, thank you god for sending me these angels. I will never forget yall

Maybe my standards are too low being from the NYC area but these folks were delightful and saved me during a tough situation. It's refreshing when people actually understand what you're dealing with and at least pretend to care.

People were friendly. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend. I was overcharged for my install. Never received a refund and was actually argued with about it, even though my receipt shows the charge. Got an alignment but car pulls to the side, so not sure if that was actually done or not.

This is not a good place. Not transparent in pricing and the techs leave you feeling worried about your car. I stopped them from doing the free tire rotation because I did not want them touching my tires. Still, the oil change made me nervous...and it's an oil change. Edit: in a super suspicious update, they told me I have a coolant leak and for the first time in my year of ownership the car has begun to overheat. It has never gone beyond the halfway line of temp and now is prone to overheating (3x in the last 2 days). I had a bad feeling about this place and I recommend staying away from this place.

This place is terrible the manager Greg knows absolutely nothing about cars and will lie to your face to get you to buy something you don’t need. This place is gross and managers are crooks will not be back ever again
