WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!! Go somewhere else and save yourself the trouble!!!!! You cannot force a upsell on a customer!!! Very disappointed in the management!!!!

Had a great experience getting a used vehicle serviced and repaired after purchase. Darrian the manager is personable and helpful. They went above and beyond in their inspection and repair at a reasonable price.

Taking back everything positive I have said about this establishment after my 2nd visit. Diagnostic was way over priced. Really really wish the team would have been more up front about that cost before I let them run a diagnostic. Then they want to turn around and try and sell me a caliper repair for $700. That is just greed. This job is done in a half an hour tops with parts that cost less than $100. When I refused this outrageous repair I was treated so poorly by the team. Very rude to you when you dont let the store completely rip you off. Not to mention I'm now getting an earful for being late to work because the store had opened 30 minutes after the posted opening time. Thanks guys. The best customer you can have is one that returns to your business. I made the mistake of returning once. Never again *2nd edit* Now being called multiple times from the store by a restricted number. Some sort of weird and lame intimidation tactic? Yikes, what a terible look

Undoubtedly the top auto shop in Jtown, and even across all of Louisville. Huge shoutout to Darrian and his team for pulling off the impossible. Shops like this are a rarity nowadays. Darrian kept me informed every step of the way while they had my car, making any necessary adjustments promptly. This should definitely be your first choice for anything car-related. If I could, I'd give them 6 stars.

So far, it hasn’t been great. First, I showed up at 7:30am on Monday to pick my car up before I had to be at work at 8. No one was there, and I ended up having to have my husband come back to pick me up and drive me to work, because by the time we left at 7:50, there was still no one there. Monday afternoon I got a call from Darrien, and with a good dose of attitude in his voice, he asked me when I was planning to come get my car. I told him I had tried to pick it up that morning, but that no one had shown up and I’d had to leave again in order to get to work. He told me that they don’t open until 8, despite their posted hours on Google, their front door, and the Ken Towery website all saying 7:30. Turns out I had called another nearby location at 7:45 asking them if they could reach out to anyone to see what time they would be arriving so I could decide if I could wait or needed to leave, and their district manager didn’t seem to be aware of their 8am opening time either. I picked my car up after work on Monday, and drove it the couple of miles home. The braking felt a little rough, but they had done a lot of work on my car ($4300 worth) and I thought maybe it just needed to be driven a little bit or it was a matter of me getting used to it again, because sometimes things feel different after you’ve had brake work done. I drove to and from work on Tuesday, which is all local roads, and it still felt about the same but I didn’t think much of it. On Wednesday I was off work so I didn’t drive until the evening. This was my first time on the highway, and I came up on some traffic and had to brake a little harder than normal. When I did, my car shook, and my steering wheel shuddered. This concerned me, so I called the shop. I spoke to Darrien again, told him that I wanted to find a good time to bring it in and have them take another look at it, and described what happened. He told me that it wasn’t from any of the work they had done, that it must be my FRONT brake pads and rotors and they had done the back. I told him no, I’d just had my front rotors replaced a little over a year ago and that I was sure that they had checked them at some point over the last 10 days while they had my car in their shop, and they didn’t mention any issues. I also told him that the shaking was not occurring prior to me bringing the car in. He responded, “Well, it wasn’t this hot when you picked the car up. It was a lot cooler out. Now that it’s been so hot, probably the front rotors warped from the heat.” I told him that it was 85 degrees out today, and that there was no way that my rotors warped from 85 degree weather, and that I felt certain that it was related to the work they had done. He then told me, “Well I don’t know how you drive. It really depends on how hard you brake, they could’ve warped.” I said l, “I’ve only driven 60 miles since I picked the car up - no matter how hard I’ve been braking there’s no way I’ve caused the rotors to warp in 60 miles of driving. Again, I had them replaced just over a year ago and they haven’t warped between then and when you checked them last week, so I don’t think it’s something I’m doing wrong with my driving.” (This car is 12 years old and I’ve put 165,000 miles on it and been through 2 sets of rotors, I don’t think I’m especially hard on my brakes). He then got a super accusatory tone and asked me why it took me so long to call and report the issue. It had been less than 48 hours. I told him that I hadn’t driven much and thought that either the car or me just needed to settle in, but the issue seemed worse and not better, so I wanted to call. He said, at this point being super rude and condescending, “Well if I just spent that much money on fixing my car and it was shaking when I left, I would’ve called right away.” To be continued in photos…

A small issue revealed a much larger one and the entire time the team was communicative with me reasonable with pricing and the financing options they provided were exceptional I would recommend these folks to anybody any day of the week!

Get a second opinion. This place is ran by liars and crooks. They will tell you you need all kinds of unnecessary work done and try to sell tires even when you don’t need them. Went elsewhere and was told not only did I not need new tires, I was also quoted thousands of dollars less to fix the issue that these thieves misdiagnosed. Go here if you hate having money.

Went there twice in two weeks. 1st time was to get a set new tires. They really worked with me and was very considerate and fair regarding amd against my personal circumstances. They also went above and beyond regarding looking at correcting other minor things they observed at no charge. Who does this these days!!! 2nd time was for a repair they were not equipped to perform. They diagnosed the issue, and recommended a business that specializesin the repair. Did not charge me anything for this. This business has earned my trust, and will be getting all my business as it relates to the kinds of work they specialize in. Much appreciated!

I went to the Ken Towery on Taylorsville road in Louisville ky to get tires on my wife's vehicle. Everything was going ok I arrive the took my vehicle in immediately and we're done pretty fast that is when I discovered the major problem. I paid and walked out to my car as soon as they pulled it out and I discovered they had stolen my firearm out of my vehicle. I confronted them and everyone denied it. I then called the police and filled out a police report and contacted the manager. I waiting to see if the manager makes it right. I will never go here again or recommend any else go.

Told me to come in at 8am to fix my car, so I do and no one is here! I waited around and called but no answer. I finally get a call back around 11 so I bring in my car. They’re still working on my car as I’m typing this. It’s taking hours, so I ask how much longer it’ll be and they tell me it just needs an alignment and then it’s done, oh but wait the guy is leaving to get lunch first… not only have I been in a bathroom-less place for OVER 4 HOURS but I can’t even have my car done until he gets lunch??? I get he needs to eat but it’s 4! I’ve been here since 11:30!! I only needed 1 thing done to my car so why in the world am I still here?? Not to mention Im hungry too! I don’t ever do stuff like this about places because I give people the benefit of the doubt but I’m at my wits end here

As a woman, it can be nervewracking to take your care into a mechanic shop alone. At first, I had some apprehension and concern, but the gentleman at the front desk assured me that they would look at everything thoroughly and get me taken care of. After a phone call, all of my questions/concerns were answered, and had my car back within 4 to 5 hours after drop off. I am highly satisfied with my experience and will be taking my care back for services when needed.

I've been very happy with the level of communication and effort put into getting the work done correctly. Prices are comparable to what everyone charges, but the shared knowledge and confidence in the work being done is priceless.

The sign says they open at 730 but nobody showed up until 815 then I had a appointment for 830 to replace a tire but they said they could not fix it until 930 why set appointments if you won't have anyone there to do the repairs

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this business. I went in for an oil change. The associate was pleasant to talk to. I was told there were 6 additional problems. Two of them, small dollar items, were legit. The other four were not. I was told all new tires needed and that the back tires I had were the incorrect size. They are not. To be fair, the front tires were at 4/32nd so need to addressed soon but no evidence found of severe damage. Told the front brake rotor was bad but I just had that serviced elsewhere 6 weeks ago. Was told I need alignment but there is no evidence of that. Perhaps that is just to go with the new tires. I have better luck with a local mechanic and an oil change chain that has a good reputation. I prefer not to return.

Wrong diagnosis. Did not fix problem but said they did. Cost over thousand dollars. When you call they really don't care they are not wrong.
