According to them, this is what a good valve stem looks like that doesn’t need replacing. It took 5 days total to have 2 valve stems replaced and 4 tires. The service here is not what I expected. I will not give them my business again.

I went to the Dixie Highway location & the staff was amazing all of them. They showed me what needed to be done so I wouldn’t be questioning if it was true or not. The price was great. The service was fast. I will 100% continue to do business there. So many other places I’ve been screwed & I was really comfortable here & greatful they actually showed me everything that was damaged. I needed brakes pads, rotors & calibers), tires, a front end alignment, & my axle replaced I had broken. I was really concerned about the price but was given a total price upfront & it was that price to the penny out the door. I really trust these guys & recommend them highly.

Edit from the original 5 star review below in quotes After a few days, I finally was on the expressway with the new tires. At 65 mph, the vibration was awful, so I went back up there and found out that the tires were never balanced. Apparently, the guy who did the tires has been fired. Bob took care of balancing one of the tires, but he said one of the lugnuts on the other tires is crossthreaded, and he was waiting for another technician to start the next week. I show up the next week, and apparently, that technician quit. Here I am nearly a month layer trying to get my tires fixed. I took my wife's car up there the next week for an oil change, tire rotation, and a tire leaking down. When I went to pick it up, it said he put a patch on the tire and balanced it again. I asked which tire he fixed because it said the wrong one from what I told him. He couldn't tell me what tire he had fixed or what was wrong because obviously he didn't fix a tire. They were not rotated either, so I was charged for something they did not do. I like Ken Towery, but even after I sent a complaint in, no one has reached out. "I went to Ken Towery's years ago with an older vehicle I had. Once I had my newer car, I was not sure because the KT I went to did not always have the best service. However, going to this store for an oil change several months ago changed my mind because they have excellent service here. That is why I just bought new tires there last Saturday, December 7th"

I’ve always gone to Ken Towerlys for the sake of convenience of being close walking distance to my house. And the fact I have a credit card to help in a bind. Never again. They left my car unlocked after taking the mileage down (thankfully due to a miscommunication with the tow truck service I’d came back and noticed, otherwise it would’ve been left unlocked overnight in the parking lot.) They didn’t bother diagnosing my cars issue's at all, they simply said it was a liability to work on due to rust (surface rust), that it was a death trap, they would take it off the road if they could as well that my sub-frame was ruined. There are no indicators of this. They have soft hands.

Although the man at Ken Towery was really nice, I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone. I took my car in because it was missing badly and plumbs of smoke (white) coming out. They diagnosed it and said I would need tune up, coolant sensor, input sensor, ignition coil. He gave me a discount and it ended up being1874.10. Three days later, on the 19th I picked it up and drove home (1 mile) and it was EXACTLY the same! Called and he said bring it back. I brought it back. They then apologized and gave me another inspection (free) and told me I needed a valve cover gasket, plenum gasket set and gave me a discount because of their mistake an him saying he shpould have told me. That ended up being 192. 21 more . I went back to pick it up and same thing. Called and took it back and then they said they that it was the catalytic convertor, and they did not do those and mentioned a place to go. I ask them why they did not tell me before when they did the diagnosis and he said he did and ask the mechanic and the mechanic said yes, it is the left one! By that time I was really irate and cried all the way home. I had to borrow money to pay for stuff I did not need, and to not have any difference in my car at all. I guess because I am 75, they think that it does not matter. I went on Facebook to find a place to get the catalytic convertor fixed and a woman told me to just go to Walmart and get Catalytic convertor cleaner. I did and my car is now running fine now. You be the judge.

Highly impressed with the integrity of the manager, Gary and the quality of work by the guys. I’ve been a Big O customer since I was 16 and able to drive (25 years ago). Stopped in here, by chance, and was pleased with the whole service. They definitely gained a repeat customer.

I set up an online appointment for a tune up. I had my car towed to the shop for a tune-up. After about 2 to 3 hours from my 7:30 a.m. appointment I received a phone call saying that I would have to pay $99 for a diagnostic. After being told inspections were free I was confused and I had already told them what I wanted them to do. He convinced me that I needed to pay for diagnostic because my tune up may not be enough to fix the problem. When I ask if the $99 will go towards the repairs he stated no so if you needed a tune-up it would be $200 plus the $99 diagnostic fee. About 4 or 5 hours later I received another phone call stating they could not do any work on my car because it was a hybrid. I advise them because it was so late in the day that I would make phone calls to find another shop the following day. I did make calls and had trouble finding a shop that worked on hybrids. Our communicated with the shop on Friday to let them know that I was still looking and would make arrangements as soon as possible. On Monday I got a call from the shop and I let them know that I would have it towed Tuesday morning to a new shop. Tuesday morning arrived and when the tow truck got there they refused to release some of the keys to the tow truck driver because they said I owed them money. When I call the shop the mechanic stated that he had done a diagnostic on the truck and I owed $99. After him yelling at me for a couple of minutes I have to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor started his conversation by yelling at me. As a manager and customer service for over 30 years I was able to get them to possibly lower his voice however he kept saying insulting things. Like you just want to get something for nothing. And you don't want to pay for your services. And that he would no longer answer anymore my question even though I hadn't gotten to ask any. Once I finally got him to stop threatening to add charges to my bill. I was able to ask him if there was paperwork for the diagnostic work done. He said no there was no paperwork. And I asked how I knew the diagnostics was done. He said and I quote because he said so. Unfortunately that is not a satisfactory business answer and anytime you do work you should have some proof that you did work. I'm having trouble believing that I experienced mechanic doesn't know the difference between a hybrid vehicle and a regular gas vehicle but for doing a full diagnostic. My car is also identified as a hybrid in the name as well as in the paperwork when I bring it in as well as when you turn it on it tells you that it is a hybrid also it starts differently from a gas engine. It starts quietly! Extremely confused as how an experienced mechanic didn't notice this before running a diagnostic. Or did he do a diagnostic at all what value is a diagnostic that I cannot read or benefit from? I offered to pay for the diagnostic however every time I try to ask a question the manager threatened to add fees to the money that I owed for storage fees. Basically he said if I continue to ask questions he would add fees. The only question I wanted to know and would have been satisfied with paperwork is if I pay you $99 will I know any more information than the day I brought it in will there be paperwork to prove what is wrong with my car. He could not answer this question and then finally got upset and said he would have released the keys to the tow truck driver if I promise never to bring my car to them again!women are directly or indirectly responsible for up to $14.0 trillion or 80% of consumer spending.

I'm not sure what happened to this place but the new manager Gary is an idiot. He is really going to run off business. Glen is the only one in the place that knows what's going on. I will not be back or I will deal with Glen directly.

Service desk was very rude and was not helpful. After declining to pay an outrageous price of $2000 that i was able to fix myself for $132 and 2hours of my own time. The man the. Proceeded to throw my keys on the desk towards me and told me to have a nice day and was very rude. I called an employee i know personally from another store that got the DM involved. I did not like the tech or the service desk, i knew right off bat i was being ripped off

Went to Kent to check on getting some new tires. A new manager is there his name is Gary very rude. Trying to press me to buy something I didn’t want was not satisfied at all corporate. Should really look at their managers and what they’re doing. This manager, Gary has no people skills whatsoever.

Towed vehicle to location. Was with tow truck. 4 hrs later diagnosis of bad alternator and battery. They wanted $880 for parts. Double of anywhere else and wouldn't price match. Show up at 830 am and they are not open despite website, door, and Google hours stating they open at 730 am wasting my time further. Don't waste your time here go elsewhere.
